Adobe Experience Manager Forms

Hello. When updating my forms, I usually put all changes in red to ensure we know were to look during review.I would like to use a macro to remove all these red in regular text boxes, field captions, etc. en replace them with black.Except for text that contain an url link (They should be blue)How would you do that ?I guess, finding all "<fill><color value="255,0,0"/></fill>"and remove them unless when url is present then, replace "255,0,0" by a blue color. Not sure how to do that, Can you help ?

Sir / Madam, I have made a form in AEM Designer in which i have all type of fields with subforms postioned / flowed ....i want to add a button at the end to check if all the fields are filled , and if filled then according to the validations.I found the below script on this forum.. it works fine.. but it doesnot work for Radio button & check boxes & for default value fields......1. for Radio button instead of checking the Radio Group it checks each options inside the Radio group for emptiness2. for checkbox  if i have 20 it checks each of them but i want .....  say if out  of 20 only 5 should be checked rest can be left blank3. for defaultValue this script not working... it doesnot check the text field or any other field which has default value in it.... i want if any field has default value it should be shown in the error Here is the script:   var EmptyFields= new Array(); for (var nPageCount = 0; nPageCount < xfa.host.numPages; nPage

Good Morning,We are in the process of converting all Designer forms into XDP files then uploading to AEM. In this process, I have discovered that the time object validations are not working in HTML. When the user types the value into these objects (we have a 12 hour and 24 hour object created), it simply disappears upon exit. I've tried to use multiple validation formats and get nothing but a Validation error, even when I type it exactly what the validation calls for. This field works perfectly in the "Preview PDF" tab but not the "Preview HTML" tab. Does anyone know if this is a common issue and what is the work around for this? Thank you.

Hello, I got a Form Container where only components of a certain component group are allowed. These are: Form Button, Form Container, Form Hidden, Form Options, Form Rich Text and Form Text. I need to have another component from another group in this container. The component group is another but i can change it. What is the best way to get the component inside the Form Container?  

Dear Experts, I am unable to find the AEM designer bind reference in Adaptive Form after imported the XDP file, the below steps are followed,The Form is created in AEM Designer and connection is created with ‘sample XML data’ option and applied the bind references for all form fields.Exported the form as XDP file from DesignerImported the same XDP file in AEM Adaptive FormCreated the Adaptive Form with ‘Form Model --> Form Templates’, by selecting the XDP fileThe Adaptive Form is created, now dragged fields from Data source list. The Form fields are added but there bind references are wrongly bounded. Could you please suggest what could be the reason ? 

Hello,I hope you are all doing well. We are facing a bug on the edition of an adaptive form.Let's explain the problem.Try to create a new adaptive form, use the template basic (for instance), and put the empty theme as selected (now the theme is mandatory).Try to edit the form container (guideContainer) and put a description, apply...and you will see after on the right...that the css is not applied.If you refresh the page...the css is applied correctly.So the problem is when you press the button to save the changes on the container.What is the difference?The difference is the form is refreshed via AJAX.And when the from is refreshed via AJAX the behavior is not the same.I have found 2 differences between refresh the page and the ajax request (guideContainer.jsp) and this is due because in one case the fallback clientLIbrary is inserted (fallbacklibrary.jsp) and in the AJAX request no.What i'm thinking to do as a workaround is to put the content of the fallbaklibrary.jsp in the gui

The form has Signature fields. Server is LiveCycle ES 2.5, Turnkey.  Windows/JBoss/MySQL. Client computer has the latest Acrobat Reader X (10.0).   After the form is saved in the ContentSpace, I download the .pdf form file from the ContentSpace into a folder on the C: drive, open the file with Reader, and there's a Green checkmark on the top, it says everything is valid. All looks good.   Then I log out of Windows, log back in on the same computer, using a different Windows account, open the same .pdf file with Reader, this time, there's no green checkmark instead, there's a warning message on the top of the Reader win

Hi,  I have to create a datamatrix barcode. This barcode should always have 16 fields no matter how much data is included. In an xslt stylesheet there are attributes like max-symbol-size and min-symbol-size. Is there a way to set this attributes in adobe lifecycle desingner for a datamatrix barcode? Thanks,JS40

Hi All,I have a use case where i need to validate few fields displayed on the form before printing the form in HTML5. I am checking the presence property of the fields and validating if the field has any values. The code is working fine in PDF as i am able to get the number of fields which are mandatory and which are left blank, but the same code in HTML5 is not working as it is not giving me the correct count. Also in HTML5, The form is considering the fields which are present inside the hidden subform for mandatory checks. Is it an expected behavior..?? Can you please let me know if there is a way i can check for mandatory and non mandatory fields in HTML5 form to perform this validation at runtime. ThankPranay

Recently we migrated our application from Livecycle ES4 to AEM HTML5 6.5 forms. There is a node Task Assignment. Earlier it used to send email to the user whenever a task was assigned. This would also include the form data as pdf and attachments added via the attachment tab.After migration the attachments are not going in the eamil. Any pointers would be helpful. @mayank_gandhi @mayankgu9 @workflowuser Please provide link to any documentation, if available. 

I have a Dropdown list in my master page, it consists of Choice 1, Choice 2 and Choice 3. Default value is Choice 1. When I select Choice 2 in Page1 I want it to remember selection to the next page. Can it be done? Any help appreciated. Thank you in advance

Hi, to be able to put a certificate on our 'legal' documents (PDF-documents are generated with AEM Forms 6.5) we are using a Luna HSM-server in the cloud.We are able to make a connection with that server and get the certificate working. Hello, We are making assignments in workflow using the Task Assignment.  There are "built-in" metadata variables like workitem_url and host_prefix.  I have changed the value of host_prefix in CQ Task Nofication config and Link Externalizer but, neither see to affect the URL.  It's a dev machine so, we get http://localhost:4502... Please please please, tell me where we can configure these values so, our workflow is more portable. Thanks,

Hello Experts,I need to create an Adobe for Billing Document in SAP Cloud, with a items summary in the first page, and each item details in each next pages. So i will have to print Items table twice or more. So, i am trying to binding the table for a first time in the first page and another time in the next page, doing page breaking by item. I tried to do a simple binding twice, but in the second page the table was printed as blank, it only print the content of table once, in the first time/page. How can i binding the same table twice?And how can i page break from second page now on, by FIELDS CONTENTS? Remembering: it is for SAP Cloud, so, no interface option, and no chance to do some abap work before. Hi all, I've spent hours going in circles, trying different approaches and I'm just totally stuck. I've created an adaptive form in AEM for forms. I have a hidden text field with a text string value, and I am trying to script a button to select and copy the contents of that text field, when clicked. Then I'd like a message to pop up, confirming the text was copied. Here's the method I found on W3schools:var copyText = document.getElementById("textFieldIWantToCopy");copyText.select();document.execCommand("copy");alert("Copied the text: " + copyText.value); Absolutely nothing happens when I use this script. I'm still adjusting between LiveCycle Javascript and normal JavaScript, so it could be I just don't have the syntax/terms to do it right, yet. Does anyone know how to make this work? We have a Table in which the rows should be populated from the xml data. I have made the connections to xml and it doesnt display any data.  Each lender has multiple contracts, all the contracts to be listed is the output required. Hi Folks,  We have recently deployed the package on our Author and Publish servers. I am receiving the response for the endpoint URL on Author but we are seeing the error when I hit the publish server end point URL via postman.  It's related to AEM Forms output service. Please look at the logs below. I have a group of text fields where the user will enter an (up to) three digit number.Right now, some of the captions (which I have displayed above the field) are ridiculously long, so the box where the number is entered is also long.Is there a way to force a line break on the caption, or should I just try to rework the layout so that the caption is off to the side, therefore the entry part of the fields can be consistent? Also the Percentage total needs to be 100. I have a message that comes up when that isn't the case, but then the user can just ignore it and go ahead. Is there an action that will keep the form from advancing until the total is 100? I would be very grateful for any help.  

Can/should Workbench be used with AEM Forms 6.5 (OSGI)? If not, are there tools on AEM Forms 6.5 that replace Workbench?  Is there another AEM app I should be using instead of Workbench to optimize my forms process? I am receiving a Login Failed error when I try to log into Workbench.  AEM 6.5 development environment (OSGI) located on my computer.  Any advice on this?  I believe I have the correct Hostname and Server Port Number and Protocol.   Thank you for feedback on my questions.    

I knew how to do this once, but have now forgotten. I have a form where I need to sum the values from 7 fields into an 8th one.I've tried using JavaScript and FormCalc and tried all sorts of scripting examples but I can't make it work.Perhaps I have the fields buried too deep inside sub sub forms?I know it should be a basic thing to do, but my brain is just not working right now.I'd appreciate any help.

I had tried to create archive lca file from aem forms 6.3 workbench. Lca file is created in my local file system. Can someone help me what are files exist/ file names inside the lca look like? Can i use this lca file to import and deploy under application in  administration console of aem forms 6.5? Can someone please guide. Below is the screenshot of files present inside th lca
