Adobe Experience Manager Forms

Hi, I am looking for some help here as I'm close but I am a bit lost. I have  a an adaptive form in our development environment.  Its pointing to a JEE Application*I used the following directions to set this up* https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/experience-manager-65/forms/install-aem-forms/configure-aem-forms/submit-form-data-livecycle-process.html?lang=en In the past with regular PDF I use exportData service to pull the information out of the PDF.  However this isn't a PDF and of course I'm running into an error. What Service Operation in workbench would I use to take the data from the Adaptive form, then push that to  Oracle database?   Thank you!

Hi all,I am trying to figure out how to create an action for my form in Livecycle Designer ES2 that will affect the most recent instance of a dynamic table row. I have a table with a repeatable row where the user will enter information about a purchased part and I have buttons that allow the user to add and remove rows. I need to create an additional add row button that will add a new instance of the repeatable table row (this is not an issue) and will disable and change the background color of the first cell in the added row. The problem I am having is how to have an action that affects the last instance of a row.If anyone knows how to do this in Javascript I would appreciate some advice/help.

Hi, Does anyone know how to view the request body when submitting a form using the "Submit using Form Data Model" submit action? It seems the form submits the form data, to {formUrl}/jcr:content/guideContainer.af.internalsubmit.jsp then it must get restructured in the back end before it gets sent to the destination end point. It would be helpful for debugging if I could view the web request body (ie: the JSON data) either at the point of submission or a log somehow? Any ideas?Thanks.

Hi,I'm working with AEM Forms in AEM 6.5.8 and at the time of submiting a form, the forms trigger requests with jcr:content instead of _jcr_content POST /content/forms/af/.../jcr:content/guideContainer.af.internalsubmit.jspPOST /content/forms/af/.../jcr:content/guideContainer.af.submit.jsp These requests are causing issues since jcr:content is not allowed in the WAF rules. Namespace Mangling in the Apache Sling Resource Resolver Factory is enabled. We found that the file that is creating these requests is GuideBridge.js Does anyone know if there's a configuration missing? Thanks in advanceJuan

Hello everyone,I am wondering if it is possible to use subform with flowed content in masterpages. If it is possible, how do you make them to work?Things i noticed :- To have a flowing page, normally you have to set the page content to flowing, but in masterpage you cannot set this property.- According to this flow document of the events, i tend to believe that masterpage layout appear after the layout process, which would maybe prevent the form from flowing?Any input that could help me?Thanks alot!Max

The QRCode object which I added in XDP for a form is disappearing in browser, but it is appearing in Acrobat reader. So I tried creating QRCode image using Zxing library and embedded into PDF using PDFBOX library. Now the QRCode can be seen in browser but not in Acrobat. In Acrobat the QRCode object which I added in XDP is appearing and when I save the PDF by entering some values in Acrobat and open that in browser then the QRCode object is appearing not my QRCode which I created using Java. Is there a way to get QRCode Object visible on browser?

Sir, I have a table of 2 columns and a repeating row (Row2)  of which Cell1 is a Dropdown field  and Cell2 is a Text Field   I have another subform which is also repeatable which as Textfield.  Now i want that whenever user selects the Dropdown the same value should be set to the Textfield (in the Subform).  if user adds 5 rows in the table and select value a, b,c,d,e in the dropdowns then the 5 textfield in the  subform should also be set to a,b,c,d,e  attached is the actual AEM form    ... in this form i want "Raised By"    field to be always equal  to the dropdown field "Team. Hi, Where do the form templates physically reside when Adobe LifeCycle ES4, WebLogic 12c and Oracle database make up the environment?Does the form templates reside in WebLogic. If the physical location of these templates are in Weblogic, in which file path would these forms be in the OS in which the WebLogic is running?Why do the forms/templates reside in WebLogic instead of Adobe LifeCycle's aem/forms.html/content/dam/formsanddocuments? Thanks,Leena

Adobe form with reader extensions enabled the dynamic table displays an extra row in reader but not acrobat any ideas to resolve? In designer Row1 binding Repeat Row for Each Data Item is checked as well as Min Count set to 1. When I open form in Acrobat DC the table displays one row as expected but when I save with reader extensions enabled and open with reader there are two rows displayed.

Hello,I'm very new here and I don't know much about macros.I have a question. I have a forms that contain 100+ text boxes, many of them preceded by a numbering (In a separate text object)   so((1)  (blablablabla))((2) (blablabla)) etc... (Where () represent an object/subform) Sometime we insert a line between 2 other and... we need to manually changes all the numbering.I was wondering if it was possible to have a macro that could do this job automatically For example, something like "previous#+1" to all object that start with "ItemNumber_" in the hierarchy. Something like that would be so helpful. I hope someone can help me with that. Thank you. 

Hello, Got a question about custom functions as I am trying to achieve something. I have a custom function defined with a fixed number of parameters and I am trying to create the possibility for the author to add as many fields as parameters in the rule editor. Is there a possibility for me to accept an undefined number of arguments? I was searching through the documentation here: https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/experience-manager-64/forms/adaptive-forms-advanced-authorin... and found a snippet saying: "Allowed parameter types are:stringnumberbooleanAll other parameter types are categorized under one of the above. None is not supported. Ensure that you select one of the types above. Types are not case sensitive." This kind of makes me believe parameters cannot be arrays, but wanted to make sure.I am using AEM 6.5 Thanks,Daniel

Without problems, I can create and populate signatures using my Common Access Card (CAC), even place the current date in a corresponding field nearby after signing. However, I would like to digitally initial forms. That is, digitally sign the form with a digital signature, but extract my initials (certificate) from my CAC and populate a filed on my form. I am a designer for the Army, and we often using digital initials to sign our forms. That is, we use a digital signature to sign a form, and at the same time, populates a field on my form that accesses my certificate from my CAC and populates that field with my initials.

Hi folkswe are designing XDP on AEM 6.5 designer for form which will hold QRCode object on each page. This QRCOde object is not assigned any default value but we are assign page number and form name to the QRCode using Javascript on layout ready eventQRCode.rawValue = formname+pageNo +" of "+pagetotal this XDP when generated as interactive PDF from formservice.renderPDFForm method and applied Reader extension then output pdf doesnt show QR code on browser.However, when we open the PDF and make any change and save it, thereafter if opened on chrome it shows QR Code properly.Environment: AEM 6.5.8 with forms packageAny guidance? Manu Gupta 

Hi There I have form with an repeating SubForm named "AddCont" containing a table named "ContactT. In the table I have a text field named "ContactP" in Row1 of the Table which automatically indexes when a new SubForm is added. I need to get the get value of "ContactP" in the last instance of the SubForm.

I am getting Http Error code =401 when trying to create LCA from Workbench on AEM Forms. Can anyone advise on this, or should I submit a help ticket?  Thanks!

This formula worked but  I'm trying to leave the field (headwaterExistingMain10) blank unless there is an amount in one of the fields in the formula using this.. if (headFtExistingMain10.rawValue==null)this.rawValue==nullelse this.rawValue = (Math.round(hweFtMain10.rawValue*10)/10)+(Math.round(headFtExistingMain10.rawValue*10)/10) ....When I Preview the form I get this error..."Illegal value: cannot assign 'True' to xfa[0].form[0].form1[0]0.page1[0].table1[0].row5[0]0.headwaterExistingMain10[0].#value[0].#float[0]." The kicker is once I click on the 'ok' button in the error box the formula works.  How can I get it to not kick off the error message?

Hi All,My customized js which renders a logo is not showing up when I inspect the page under sources. But when I am opening the metadata node, I can see the js is available and the logo is also popping up.  Any idea what could actually cause this? /apps/XXXX/clientlibs/actions and actions is of type cq:ClientLibraryFolder is showing up in source when I inspect, but then /apps/XXXX/clientlibs/admin   again type cq:ClientLibraryFolder is not showing in source.

Hello,I have two radio buttons in a group (No and Yes) and when I click on one of them, it does not show the black circle in the middle when clicked.  It show it briefly and then disappears.  The other button shows the black circle in the middle when it's clicked.  How can I fix that?  Not sure why it's happening.
