Adobe Experience Manager Forms

I am curious to know if there is any software out there that is able to create dynamic pdf forms like Designer.  I know there are a lot of pdf creators but I am curious to know if there is anything that is able to layout forms with all the different field types that Designer does?  I am just curious as my employer is asking about what options we have for an upcoming project.

Hi All, The Form are created using AEM Adaptive Form and applied the bind reference with xml schema. The requirement is, have to create a OSGI REST service that should accept form name & xml data with reference to field binding and should return the Adaptive Form page URL with xml data binding. Could you please suggest how to bind the xml data to Adaptive Form page and return in service? 

Hi All! I would like to ask if there is a possibility in Adoce LiveCycle Designer to "inject" external .pdf document into it's Layout?So for example let's say I would like my test form to have 3 pages: Page 1 - Comes from Layout editor (let's say containing some basic adobe controls bound to context, like text fields, table object etc)Page 2 - On this page .pdf focument containing 1 page to be displayed, this .pdf file I would like to access via httpPage 3 - Another standard page coming from Layout editor My question is how to "inject" the Page 2 into my Layout. Is there maybe some adobe control, or maybe JS offers some function? Thank You in advance.BoB

Good Morning, I have recently been advised that expandable text fields are not available in Adobe Reader DC and that Adobe EM does have that functionality. I have two questions: 1. Does Adobe EM have expandable text capability.2. If yes, once I have completed my form, do I still need the Adobe EM licence to run my document generator and secondly, if I need to make changes to the form, do I need the licence?Thanks

Using a subset of two pages, I have programmed a 2-page dynamic form to "Add an Instance" of said two pages by clicking a button. Basically the 2+(dynamic) pages can repeat in proper order infinitely. On page 1, I have a table with repeating rows which works fine. The issue is that I need this table to show the user input values in the repeating rows when another subset is added BUT (here is the kicker) make it cumulative. So if the user added 2 instances of the row and put values in these 2 repeating rows on the #1 subset of pages, I need these to change their state to protected and keep the values on the #2 subset but have the table still be expandable below those values. If the user adds 2 more values on #2 subset then all 4 rows with user input values show up protected on the #3 subset of pages and so on. Because of the cumulative nature of this particular form, all user added values need to stay in proper order. This was hard to explain so please let me know if I need to try

Hi everyone In Adobe Live Cycle Designer ES4, I have a text field named "TEXT" (option "Allow Multiple Lines" activated). It is binded to a string field of an ABAP structure.I want to change certain parts of the text field to bold. They are already marked with "\b" for the starting point and "\b0" for the ending point.How is that possible? I am not good with Javascript :(TEXT.font.weight = "bold" works for me, the complete field changes to bold. But how can I change certain parts of the text field? Thanks a lot in advance for any help!

I'm running AEM Forms 6.2 JEE for JBOSS with the latest Service packs and hotfixes.Everything works properly, except that I'm unable to access the Web Console at http://localhost:8080/lc/system/console/configMgr or with other URL variations.I can't access the rest of the OSGi related pages either.  We consistently receive a HTTP Status 403 error code - "JBWEB000123:  Access to the specified resource has been forbidden".My question is whether the Web Console and related OSGi configuration pages are available on the JEE version to begin with, or if there's an issue with our install that needs to be investigated.  Should the web console be accessible on the JEE version?Note, that crx de and other primary AEM related pages are accessible and working properly.Thank YouJBWEB000065: HTTP Status 403 -JBWEB000309: type JBWEB000067: Status reportJBWEB000068: messageJBWEB000069: description JBWEB000123: Access to the specified resource has been forbidden.

I have encountered an issue with JavaScript and showing or hiding a text box. All works as expected in EN but not in FR. I have a Adobe Livecycle Designer sales quote form that generated from SAP C4C. If the items have pictures, sometimes (but not always) items are sliding down on the page and after sliding a blank page occurs. If i remove the pictures it gets fixed. I haven't been able to find the solution.You can see the screenshot below.Thanks. 

I use form have field upload (image or pdf), It not working on production (some time it working well then i submit again it return false). Hi Experts, We have a requirement to print a legal form first page from Tray 3 of Xerox Nuvera printer(Post script 3), which is pre printed legal paper and from second page onwards print yellow legal paper from tray 4.  When we checked Adobe LiveCycle ES4 * Printer tray selection link then got to know that 'Designer provides duplicates of common paper types for Letter and Legal paper sizes, specifically to accommodate paper tray selection" but not able to see any duplicate of Legal paper size in ES4.  Please provide your valuable inputs.

Hello all.New to AEM forms processes. Our company has this available but no support however.I created a fillable form but the distribute icon is disabled. Can you advise if I need to do some type of configuration to get the distribute function enabled?- I performed the "distribute a form" as noted in the below but it does not work.

Hi folksI have a ask to generate PDF file which has blank pdf assembled with main pdf.I had generated main PDF from XDP using OutputService.generatePDFOutput() and received a aemfd document PDF.Now i have DDX file which is like below and I am not what I should be putting in 1st child <PDF source="<Name or Path...." tag.<DDX xmlns="http://ns.adobe.com/DDX/1.0/"> <PDF result="PDFWithblankPage"> <!--Add this page to ddx_pageList--> <PDF source="<Name or Path for main PDF>"/> <PDF source="<Network Drive>/blank.pdf"/> </PDF> </DDX> I have checked the DDX file operation and it is working fine if I generate a static PDF, copy it at physical location with some name to PDF and provide the same Name to this DDX file. And it generates the desired PDF with blank page. However I dont want intermediate PDF to be saved to a location and then pass to DDX as it will result in many temp PDFs getting created at that loc

Help why wont it work?Background:I want a digital signaturefield not to show when printing at first. Hello, I have an adaptive form with about two dozen fields that are marked as required fields, yet somehow I have users that are able to submit their form when some of these fields are empty. I have submitted hundreds of test forms in our test and production environments and am unable to replicate this behaviour. Does anyone have any suggestions on potential solutions, or avenues of investigation that I can pursue for this issue?

HI, Need help.......!!!!We are using render service which converts the xdp form to Interactive PDF Form. This PDF form we display in HTML page along with Submit and close button. (Note: The buttons like submit and close are not in PDF, its outside the PDF). When Submit is click a subprocess of workflow is invoked with xfa data. Rightnow, the HTML page along with PDF is working properly in IE but not in other browsers.  We have created a custom profile and loading the letter as HTML preview and in that HTML page we kept the button like Submit and close. on the Submit button the sub process invoking is not happening.  Can you please help me how to proceed further.  Thanks in Advance

I have a form which has a floating field in the header of a table that is changed prior to filling out the form.  When the table flows to the next page, I have it so that the headers populate to the next page.  The problem is that the floating field information in the header does not appear on the next page. It's just a blank space.  Only the other headers, which are not changed, appears on the next page.  What can I do?
