Adobe Experience Manager Forms

I've created a form using floating texts.  One of the fields is a dropdown list with two options: One (1) or Two (2).  I labeled this as: fltObligate.  The other field is a floating text field.  I labeled as: fltAmount.  What I'm trying to do is this: if I make a selection from the dropdown list, I would like it to return an amount value in fltAmount.  So, if I choose "One (1)", I would like it to insert an amount of "$10,000".  Similarly, if I choose "Two (2)", the amount would be "$20,000".I was able to do this in Adobe DC.  However, I wanted to use the floating text feature in AEM.  Here's the code I used for Adobe DC.var Obligate = this.getField("Obligate").value;if (Obligate=="One (1) Year") event.value = "$10,000";else if (Obligate=="Two (2) Years") event.value = "$20,000";else event.value = ""Can anyone assist in converting this code to AEM?

We need to add a iframe in the page and inside iframe we are calling a website which has functionality to zoom in & out.But as soon we try to zoom in / out using mouse scroll inside iframe, main page start scrolling.We tried to add the functionality of scrolling="no" but it doesn't work.We have only below options to editKindly suggest.iframe called is https://kiger.renault.co.in/#/car/360/kigerFunctionality where it was not working is https://www.renault.co.in/cars/renault-kiger.html  

Hi All, I have seen one of the AEM Form (XDP) application, in that they bind (using WSDL) the filed with synchronousInvoke option. Example:!connectionData.get_users.Body.synchronousInvoke.filter_nameHow to achieve that above one? when I trying with all possible ways getting !connectionData.get_users.Body.Invoke.filter_name Please suggest. Regards,Srujan

Adobe LiveCycle ES4 is no longer available. This has been replaced by AEM Forms Designer. I saw a video from an Adobe employee on Youtupe (german), where he said that we could get a free upgrade version of AEM Forms Designer. I just have to call Adobe Support. Unfortunately, I would have to realize that some employees of the German Help-Desk, do not know what Lifecycle Manager is. In my opinion, it is only a matter of closing the case and getting it off the table.Maybe I'll find an answer here?I thank you in advance for your help.Wolfgang Braun 

Enable "Debug" in HTML library Manager through configMgr, then the form editor report lots of css and JS errors for 49 times:Refused to apply style from 'http://localhost:4502/var/clientlibs/libs/granite/ui/clientlibs/quickactions/less/generated/quickaction-default.css' because its MIME type ('text/html') is not a supported stylesheet MIME type, and strict MIME checking is enabled. I see some solutions for Angular or other JS frameworks. Any idea how to resolve this in AEM granite? I just want each css and Javascript in its own file to easy to debug or view.

Hi All, I am converting PDF form to HTML5 (XDP) & have a functionality is to call workbench service(wsdl). I am planning to invoke the service by using execEvent("click") in script. It was executed very first time and from second time onwards I ma getting error popup " ALC-FRM-901-001 Error in running Server script" Seeking for help very badly.Regards,SrujanK

Hello all,I have created a custom object that uses a switch statement to fill drop-down objects depending on user selections. I'm getting an error stating: "Paper Forms BarcodeSince this list allows for custom text entry, you should specify a data pattern using the XML Source editor. Otherwise, when this list is filled at run time, the amount of data may exceed the maximum barcode size." See below:I could be wrong but I believe the District/CO drop-down object is the one it has a problem with and it is only two characters. I have a numeric field on a form with a calculation. The calculation works fine but if the answer is negative, I need it to display as (24.36) as opposed to -24.36. Can someone let me know how this is done? Thank you in advance!

Hi All,I am trying to implement a code to dynamically changes the caption and the name of the field based on the event, but it seems to be working for the caption but not for the name. Caption : this.caption.value.text.value = "Text" --------------WorkingName: this.name.value.text.value = "fldName" -------------- Not Working Can someone please let me know if the syntax is correct or if i am doing something wrong. ThanksPranay

We are using AEM 6.5.8 with forms add-on, for any simple form, when we add dictionary, the popup window said the project created by when we tried to click "open project", nothing returned.And the browser console reported "Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'PROJECT_LISTING_PATH' of undefined",the code is:VanityPath.PROJECT_LISTING_PATH and VanityPath is undefined.What could be the reason?

Hi All, I am migrating XFA forms to HTML5 forms in AEM 6.5. In XFA we have written validations before submitting the form but those validations are not working in HTML5. Is there any way to use those validations in HTML5 form? Please help.

Hello,I am trying to find a way to add formatting to a date field which will show the day as ordinal (1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc.).  I found another thread where someone asked a similar question and this was part of the response: "This isn't exactly what you are after as it wont give you the ordinal (st, nd, th). If you want that you have to write you own formatting (or use one of the JavaScript date libraries, like MomentJS)" Nothing else was asked about it in the thread so I don't know if the OP ever got a solution for it.  I know very little about JavaScript so would need an explanation if that is how to do it.  Any help on how to solve for this would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks

Hello all, I am looking for assistance if anyone would be so kind.  I have a dynamic PDF with 20 forms. I also have 20 checkboxes on the main page to display or hide any of the 20 forms. So if a user only wants forms #3, 7, 12 for example they would simply check off those forms. The rest will be hidden. Now I would like to place a button to attach only the visible forms to an email however I do not want the main page (the one with the checkboxes) included in the attachment. I know it is just a matter of showing or hiding the main page however I have tried hiding the main page in the button's click function but it will only hide the page after the email gets populated and the forms are attached despite placing the presence = "hidden" statement at the very top. Hi,I'm using AEM 6.5 to create PDF forms.When opening them in Adobe PRO DC to check accessibility I get a fail on "Primary language", in AEM I have set form locale to "Swedish".If I try to Fix the Primary language in PRO I get message that the document security settings don't allow this fix, but the file has Security Method "No security".How can I solve this issue?

I have a form with tabs and repeatable panels. On load I'd like to run some jQuery and interrogate some fields that are on other tabs which are hidden on 1st load.But the jQuery cannot find the elements in the DOM until the user has visited the tabs. I have been able to work around this in code by setting focus to each panel, and back to the first panel with code.This simulates a user visiting the tabs. Now the DOM elements on the tabs are accessible. I'm stuck with repeatable panels. Hidden accordion panels cannot be read by jQuery until the user clicks on them to reveal them.How do I loop over and set focus on these instances? Is there a better way to "initialize" all the fields in all the panels (including hidden and hidden/repeated) on load of the form?I'm hoping for a magic 'initialize all' script that will make sure all the DOM is loaded without the user having to click on everything and i won't have to write this silly code.

Also, there's no working example and code bundle for this.The reason we want this is the AEM forms dropdown is not adaptive on small device when the option is very long, it cannot word-wrap.Please help. 

Want to know how to dynamically call  the image source/path on certain conditions in form designer.Currently I setup [image field] in the document. Wondering how I can use javascript to call / add the image into the image field . I have tried to use the code below on [form:ready] this.value["#image"].href = "https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/8/8f/SAP-Logo.svg/320px-SAP-Logo.svg.png" But it didnt work. Adobe Experience Manager - forms designer version : 6.5 My final goal is using XML data and javascript to dynamically change the path of the image.  Hope someone have a solution/answer  for this question.Thanks
