Hi, We need to invoke a specific version of long lived process using the ServiceClientFactory class of livecycle api. Apologies I suspect this will be a "dumb" question. I have spent ages trying to find relevant documentation...I believe I can access SOAP services hostd by AEM to retrieve and implement AEM forms in a separate stand alone Java client app.So I'm simply trying to retrieve the wsdl for FormServiceI'm running a local dev set up using QuickStart jar running in author mode on standard localhost:4502I can find examples stating use http://localhost:8080/soap/services/FormsService?wsdl to get the relevant WSDLShould I be able to simply use http://localhost:4502/soap/services/FormsService?wsdlThis does not work for me. -> /soap/services/FormsService' not found: No resource foundCan I do this in a local dev setupAm I missing something fundementalThanks

Hi FolksWe have XDP generating PDF as Dynamic XFA PDF with data filled using only Display pattern for Telephone like text{'('999')'999-9999} or SSN like text{999-99-9999}. When PDF generated in opened in Acrobat reader or chrome browser it displays fine but when it is opened in DocuSign Portal then display pattern is lost.Client is looking for if we can manipulate rawValue using Javascript and save it along with formatting in rawValue so that it displays same formatting or pattern when opened in DocuSign Portal. Question is is it a good practice to manipulate rawValue and store with pattern?  Any alternate suggestions are also welcome

Hi All,On AEM forms submission a workflow is invoked. Now going on to AEM inbox to approve/reject the workflow the form is not visible on the "workflow tasks UI" and instead the form HTML is downloaded as a jcr:content. And if I click on approve/reject then getting validation error message as shown in screenshot below. There is no customisation involved , all out of the box flow.Also in error.log file there is nothing related to this form or workflow.Even in browser console there is no related error, due to which the form tasks is downloaded as jcr:content file. Can anyone please help in such scenario why the form is not visible under "Workflow Task Details UI" ?

I am working on a project where AEM Server (6.5) is used to render XFA forms as HTML.  There is a list of form links on the website.  The user clicks the XFA form link, the form is rendered as HTML, and then the user then has an option to click a button which will generate a flattened PDF including their typed in data.  The intent is for large scale use of this.  We need to make a decision on how much forms scripting to use in the XFA forms.  The forms scripting will be Client scripts.  Even though these are Client scripts, there is a concern that the forms scripting will slow AEM server performance - this could be from the server processing that occurs when the link is clicked and/or the server processing from clicking the button to generate a flattened PDF. Is this a valid concern - that scripting in the forms will affect Server performance - given there will be a lot of users?  I did not develop the web application - I am focusing on the

Hi there,i just download the AEM-FORMS-6.2-SP1-CFP3-WIN-3.2.88 for evaluation of this product, however i don't see any place to input license number(assuming the pack just need to be upload and installed in the CRX page).my question is, whether i need license if we just do the technical evaluation(we need a quick demo to business in 1 week with some features).if i need, how to input that (currently i dont have the license for the forms sp1 but have the license for the standard aem).furthermore, if we need the trial license, how can we get it?thanks a lot.

Hello everyone, i'm working on a sort of PDF form validation.We have some PDF that needs to be validated and tested automatically. These PDF are provided with internal javascript that simple test PDF fields input and returns the results in a hidden page of the PDF itself.The PDF are automaticallty filled using an xml containing the field values. This is done using a service created in Adobe AEM Forms, through the Workbench.The service merges the XDP file with the XML file producing a filled PDF.My question is:If i fill the PDF that way, it's possible to fires up the PDF internal javascript in order to perform the PDF validation and produces the log? I would like to do this automatically, without opening the PDF.

Used this form initialize event. with the required coding. But its not working. What exactly the issue here not sure. Can anyone give me some idea?Regards,Surya

I have a content xml file for RTE code which I want to use on other components. It works on some components but it didn't work on another components. hello all,We are getting below error when we navigate to admin ui>services>application and services>application management page. It started to give error while we were deploying forms. Hi,Whenever I try to publish a page after applying a Target Activity, Failed to retrieve references for selected pages error pops up on screen. This only happens when we have references applied to a page. Any pointers to rectify this ?Thanks,~Jay

We have AEM v6.5.0 currently and the Verify Step component is missing from my list of components. Is there something special I need to do to get this to be available to me? I am building an adaptive form based on an XDP template and I want to be able to preview the form before submitting.

I am creating my first adaptive AEM form using an XDP template I created in AEM Forms Designer (LiveCycle). In the XDP form I have a bunch of scripts. When I place those fields onto my adaptive form, the scripted functionality seems to work but I can't figure out where the scripts are actually being stored! I thought perhaps they would get translated into rules but that doesn't seem to be the case. Where are these scripts stored? And also: how should I handle it if I realize I need to make an adjustment to my XDP template? If I change it and re-upload it using the same file name, will the adaptive form now link to the newer version automatically?

Hi, Using AEM 6.5 on CentOS. I have a working form with a single field and button and some labels. I saved it, promoted it to pub. Works fine.I committed my changes to githhub (via repo tool). This has worked fine for 2 months now. My computer rebooted (blue screen), which made auth unusable. I rebuilt auth, deployed my packages to the new auth.Now when I open the rules editor, I get the attached.
