Adobe Experience Manager Forms

Recently we see these errors coming up over and over again in Author when designer templates, forms, ... Any clue where this is coming from. core.js is not a script file we can read easily.

AEM Forms on OSGI  6.5.4.  We are tracing where the the following meta tag originate from:<meta name="viewport" content="user-scalable=no"> /conf/<folder>/settings/wcm/templates/<name> type "cq:Template" with jcr:content "cq:templateType" = "/libs/settings/wcm/template-types/afpage"under structure/jcr:content we find resourceType : "fd/af/components/page2/aftemplatedpage" In "fd/af/components/page2/aftemplatedpage"  we see the resourceSuperType "wcm/foundation/components/page" AND object "aftemplatedpage.jsp". The system takes the "aftemplatedpage.jsp" and render the page. Inside this page there is a <cq:include script="afpagecontent.html"/>inside "afpagecontent.html" is the " <meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-scale=1.0" />" This is different from what we have generated. So where is our meta tag coming from?

Hi All,  we are trying to connect to AEM Forms server to which we are trying to connect from workbench through port 8443. We have added the relevance certificate to the <workbench installation folder>/jre\lib\security folder. But still we are getting the below error, "The Public Key certificate generated from the server is not recognized as originating from a trusted store":Check with your system Administrator For configuring workbench to accept certificates" Can anybody please help

Hi all,I hope everyone is well.I have an adaptive form which I am able to submit its data to D365 using an FDM, but I want to attach files to the adaptive form which I'd also like to ultimately submit to D365, Does anybody know how this can be done?I'd appreciate any guidance.kindest regardsBelinda

Hi When I try to edit the Javascript code for any rule I am unable to switch to Code Editor in Rule Editor of AEM Forms. The button keeps disabled. Please see the screenshot.  My AEM Version is 6.4.7 as well as the add-on packages. It happens only in one environment.Please let me know if there is any configuration there I need to do to get this working properly. Thank you.

I have updated AEM 6.0 to AEM 6.5.AEM 6.5 doesn't support org.apache.commons.csv . I have tried version 1.8, 1.7, 1.6Always got below errororg.apache.commons.csv -- Cannot be resolved AEM 6.5 supports CSV or not, if support which version of csv it supportsKindly help

I have two master pages in my Adobeform and i need to get the current master page number to assign that value to the field in subform of bodypage.i have tried below things to get current master page number and total count of current master page but it is giving page numbers including all the master pages.$layout.page ( ref ( $ ) )--->giving current page number(including all master pages)$layout.pageCount()--> total page count(including all master pages)Kindly provide the logic to get the current master page number and count.

Hi all,Bear with me, I am fairly new to both Dynamics 365 and this connector.I have run into a bit of an issue.So I've done the following:Configured my Microsoft Dynamics O-Data Cloud Service Created a Form Data Model Made some associations with some of the EntitiesConfigured Submit Action to "Submit to a Form Data Model" What I was expecting: For everything to work perfectly without a hassle.What I got: Submission only happens to the Entity configured in the Submit action of the adaptive form despite the associations to any other Entity. (Hassle)What else I tried: Submitting through "Invoke service"(My idea was for invoke service to return an id of newly submitted entry  and assign it to a hidden field then make another call to submit to the Associated Entity using that Id). But that didn't work out well as per the following screenshot. 🙄   I went confidently to my Service to configure the return type but that was grayed out🙄 So

I want to force user authentication before they use an adaptive form.  I can restrict user access through useradmin page, can remove access to anonymous to the folder /content/forms/af/<project name> but how do I force the user to login instead of getting a default 404. I was reading about CUG, https://docs.adobe.com/content/help/en/experience-manager-65/administering/security/cug.html but the options available for "normal" site pages are not available for adaptive forms. 

We followed "https://helpx.adobe.com/experience-manager/using/AEM63_favicon.html" to assign a favicon to each adaptive form. 1. The folder /etc/designs/ does not exists so we create this folder (sling:folder)2. added a cq:page with our project name and added a favicon to this page as a child. crx/deUpdated our adaptive form:3. /content/forms/af/<project name>/<adaptive form name>/jcr:content4. added node "cq:designPath" of type String with value "/etc/designs/<project name>" Yeah.. FavIcon is now available Issue is that we get an additional CSS file in the html <head> that does not exists and the browser console report this error. Error:Refused to apply style from 'https://<server>:<port>/etc/designs/<project name>.css' because its MIME type ('text/html') is not a supported stylesheet MIME type, and strict MIME checking is enabled. Actual the browser is trying to load the file, but the server respond with

Hi,I'm getting the following error message when I try to create a new data model based on the Data Source integration.I saw other questions quite related to this topic but there was a JDBC configuration which is not my case.Just to give you guys a little context. This is what I did:I've created a data source based on a swagger file with the swagger version of 2.0 and upload it to AEM in Cloud Services -> Data Sources configurationSet the service type as RESTful service and there was not needed any authentication configurationFinally, I've created a Data Model based on that configuration.The swagger file works just fine in other author environments, so I don't think the problem would be the swagger implementation, I tested other samples and got the same error.This is the swagger file that I used:swagger: "2.0" info: description: "This is a sample server Petstore server. Hi AEM gurus, I am implementing the adaptive form captcha control.  I have followed all the instructions as per the adobe linkhttps://docs.adobe.com/content/help/en/experience-manager-65/forms/adaptive-forms-basic-authoring/captcha-adaptive-forms.html When I drag the control on to my Form Container , it gives "Please provide reCAPTCHA configuration", when I try to configure, the configuration is disabled.  Did any one face similar kind of issue.  If yes, can you guide? RegardsDilip

We have Author and publish instances of AEM 6.5.4, but did not install AEM JEE.  We have previous in ES4 designed XDP forms with submit buttons that post either the PDF or XDP data to various services.  In AEM, we generated the HTML5 version of the XDP and the submit will only call the servlet "/content/xfaforms/profiles/default.submit.html" 1. We tried to configure /content/xfaforms/profiles/... with our own profile and render the HTML5 file. We configure the submitURL, we select own submit button, all to no effect. It keeps invoking "/content/xfaforms/profiles/default.submit.html" which results in a 404.  2. We created a new folder in "aem/forms.html/content/dam/formsanddocuments/" and uploaded the XDP as an asset to the folder. We then use the properties of the XDP in the advance tab configure the "HTML Render Profile" to point to our profile to use the pre-fill data in this profile. (Some static configuration data). This is working fine.

Hello experts, There is a requirement where the customer going to use RightsManagement for document security and is interested to log the events associated with it. This document would be generated in bulk, could be million of documents in a year. What should we suggest for these kind of scenarios? Is it Amazon S3 (a workflow could be written to log the data), or fie system or any separate database? Thanks,Bibhu.

We have a clean install of AEM Forms 6.5.3 and we see this error in the server.log:[org.apache.tika.utils.XMLReaderUtils] (async-index-update-fulltext-async) SAX Security Manager could not be setup [log suppressed for 5 minutes]: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Property 'http://www.oracle.com/xml/jaxp/properties/entityExpansionLimit' is not recognized.The error doesn't appear to break anything.  Is this error normal for 6.5 or is something configured wrong?

Haven’t you come across a scenario, where the business wants you to emulate the paper based version of the forms as is on web channel ? If so, then I think the hardest part of such requests is to have an Image Field in Adaptive Form. It is like where the person filling up the form should be able to attach and then see or preview the passport size photograph or may be some other photograph while within the form’s view. Adaptive Forms only provide a hyperlink to the uploaded image. This link when clicked, depending upon your browser’s settings, will either open the image in a new tab or download it.Another important reason for this being popular is because there is a similar widget already present in Mobile Forms aka XDPs aka XFA Forms aka Form Templates.Another related scenario is where you have to also ensure that this image is also similarly visible is the print channel or the Document of Record. This is an equally hard thing to implement, if not harder for developers and consultants.
