Adobe Experience Manager Forms

Hi All, We are using AEM Forms 6.5.4 and we are trying to use PDF Generator Service API for converting PDF to MS Word document.  We are referring to [1] to achieve this conversion . While executing method exportPDF2() we are getting error as [2] . [1] doesn't talk about the parameter - settingsFile which is provided to exportPDF2() and do not provide any example on how to generate this file . Has anyone implemented this ? [1] https://docs.adobe.com/content/help/en/experience-manager-64/forms/use-document-services/aem-document-services-programmatically.html [2]Exception : ALC-PDG-080-023-Acrobat_PATH environment variable either not set or is invalid. Please set this variable to point to Acrobat.exe in Acrobat version 11. Acrobat_PATH should be set to <Acrobat_Home>\Acrobat 11.0\Acrobat\Acrobat.exe. Here <Acrobat_Home> is the parent folder where the Acrobat is installed. Thanks in advance!

Hi All,We want to convert AEM generated output PDF to TIFF format. The form has XFA scripts like rules/hiding logic added in designer and this form is process from workbench workflow process to generate PDF output using gerneratePDFoutput activity. Later using toimage service activity to convert to TIFF. But the converted TIFF is not same as the generated PDF output.All the XFA based rules/hiding logic from the form are being ignored which convertion/trasformed to TIFF (also tried postscript, PDFA). Issue - the generated PDF is not completely FLAT causing the convertion issue.Can anyone help me in creating flat pdf in first place or after creating PDF help to convert to flat PDF ? Let me know in case you need more info Thanks much for ua support@10014790 @1814936 @2933582 @9255

Hi All, Are there any documentations around how can we implement CI/CD pipelines for the Adaptive forms/ XDP files uploaded to be used as templates for adaptive forms. Is it even possible to enable CI/CD for the assets under /content folder. If so how can we achieve the same.

Hi,I'm trying to hide a row inside a dynamic table if data in cell2 has "Old Statement". If cell2 has the name "Old Statement". Hi,At work, I use LiveCycle Designer to edit forms in xdp format directly on a network drive, an I have experienced the following issue:1. I opened the xdp file A directly on the network drive using Adobe LiveCycle Designer.2. I made changes to file A and kept the file open.3. Without knowing, and because my colleague is working from another building, he opened the same file A and made changes and saved them at Time1 (9:00) and closed file A on his computer.4. I saved then closed the file A open on my computer at Time2 (10:00).5. After while, my colleague found out that the changes he made to file A were obsolete. Adobe LiveCycle Designer did not warn my colleague that the file A is already open by another user (me). As by my experience MS Word warns users when the file (ex. docx) they are trying to open is open in modify mode by another user. (I know that a hiden file is created beside the opened one, and this last is checked each time Also, I am not trying to co-a

Form A has few fields and submit button. For form submission, we are using Submit to Rest End point(Sling AEM servlet) and adding redirect URL as Form B path We will get ID value as part of sling AEM servlet response. This ID has to shown in Form B. I have gone through all the below links and could not find how to get ID value in Form B. Please read my question clearly and provide your response. Hi, we don't have any experience with AEM Forms, but we thought, this could be the tool to solve a task for a customer.He want's to have 2 dropdown fields, which are connected together:This is the first problem: the values of Department should change if the country is changed. This MAY could be resolved with a huge list of departments, which are hidden and only the one, that is related to a country, will get visible. But I really don't think that this is best practice. The second (bigger) problem: the e-mail has to be generated trough country and department. There must be anywhere a list from the customer (third problem: the customer should be able to configure this list easy and not in a developer way).  We don't find a solution with OOTB tools from AEM. The when condition from the rules only affects 1 field, not more. So the second problem couldn't be resolved. Does anyone has experience with this kind of problem or a better solution than AEM Forms? Best

Hello.I'm a new user and I'm wondering if it's possible to have some "conditional" Layout. I have a form, divided into several section (subforms)Each "line" may contain 2 or 3 fields (depend on the information requested)This layout allow to make the form shorter but all is a bit squeezed. It's ok for most of the people, but a bit inaccessible for some.I'd like to have an "option" (Checkbox for exemple) that change the layout to a 1 field by "line" My idea was to give instruction to each field "If checkbox is checked, have a width of XXX (full width) and a reserve of XXX", (Forcing the next field to go under it) If checkbox is unchecked, "have a width of XXX and a reserve of XXX" (Allowing the next field to place itself on the right) I know it's something possible in a webpage but I have no idea if it is on AEM designer and how to do it. If you have any idea, it will be helpfull Thank you.

We have a AEM Forms 6.4 instance and we have integrated it with Adobe Sign. We can sign documents from a Adaptive Form and saved them in Adobe Sign, but... The problems is that we want to get the form field data from the user into Adobe Sign, in a format like XML/JSON/CSV, but the problem is that the field values are only visible on the signed PDF (DoR)Is this possible? We have been looking into it and thinking of saving the form field data in the field called "Note" in Adobe Sign.Could anyone help us with this?

I am moving from Livecycle Designer 11.0 to AEM Forms Designer 6.5. First impression: Great! Looks similar, some critical functionality still works, etc.Then, a problem. I have very simple forms that need to be signed digitally, with digital IDs we create locally. We restrict each signature field by choosing the signature field -> Object -> Signature -> Settings -> Signing Certificates, and use "Specify the Subject Distinguished Name" to list the approved signers, as well as check "Require the signing certificate to meet the specified subject distinguished name". This was never a problem to update, add, remove, check, un-check, etc. in Livecycle. However, AEM Forms Designer won't allow me to do anything other than remove approved signers, and un-check the check box. (However, un-checking the box does NOT allow anyone except the specified approved signers to sign the field, either way.)After some frustrated trial and error, I opened the XML Source, found the names I wanted t
