Adobe Experience Manager Forms

I am trying to import archives (not applications) in Adminui but 6.5 has a bug in previewArchive.jsp.  When I click the preview button I get this error:/previewArchive.jsp (JBWEB004251: An error occurred at line: 56 column: 99) JBWEB004197: Attribute value invalid for tag if according to TLDThis is the line being referenced:<td><input type="checkbox" name="importComponents" value='<s:property value="name"/>' <s:if test="action" value="0">checked="true"</s:if>/></td>That is clearly a syntax error, not a data error as there are no data items here.  I opened a ticket with Adobe but cannot convince the support person that it is a bug. 

 I'm wondering if it's possible to set up a conditional variable for a send email CC. I have a text field set to populate the CC field. But I need for that field to be nullable. It can't be a required field, because it is an option for the end user. Currently, the form will not submit unless that text field contains an email address.  Any thoughts on how to make this conditional? Thanks. 

Hi all,I am new to aem and trying to include experience fragment in my page that i created using editable template and when i am trying to add it into the page the positioning of the content of the experience fragment becomes distorted from the original one and also i am not able to resize the experience fragment used in the page. so is there anything that i am doing wrong.      

Does anyone know if there is any plans to support msg- and eml-files for PDF Generator?My customer needs to convert millions of documents from their archiving system,from different filetypes, to PDF/A.About 10% is msg- and eml-files. If there isn't any immediate plans, any ideas how to achive this?We are using AEM Forms 6.5 JEE. RegardsTommy

I've got this 3 dropdown fields, month, day and year. Upon selection of a specific month the day dropdown field should be populated with exactly the number of days for that particular month. Similiary it should be accountable for leap years as well. How to do that in AEM Forms?

Hello,I have an Adobe form that can be displayed on 1 or multiple pages.The Adobe form is composed of a header, a table, a total, a "References" block and a footer.The header and the footer are present on each page.The "References" block is only displayed on the last page.The number of pages depends on the number of items into the table.For example :a) 1 page    b) 2 pages  My problem :If the Adobe form contains various pages, logically, the table has to be displayed on various pages. Two things have to be taken into account :In the table, each item has a description which may contain 1 to various lines.For example :    Each table on each page must have the same size.I think it would be laborious to control how many lines each item contains.I would like to put the "References" block only on the last page and keep the same size for each part of the table on the multiple-pages document.Does anyone have a solution for this ?Thank you !Pmsow  &n

I am having a requirement of filling the fields using a third party API with a request parameter so when a user fills the "id" the name and address should be populated on the based on ID.

Hello all,I'm looking for a bit of advice on some direction that has been forced upon me through my enterprise licensing with LiveCycle and Adobe in general. Recently, the people who procure our software decided not to include LiveCycle in our Adobe package. This probably is due to the fact that Adobe separated LiveCycle from Adobe Pro and the standalone fee is too high.Ok, so that being said, I started learning how to use LiveCycle a number of months ago and had a lot of success. We used it to build and edit PDF forms that are used by our clients to provide reports on work that they do. It is mandatory that they fill out these forms annually. We had a number of major changes to these forms that we were undertaking when the licensing got cancelled. So, now I am in a bit of a flux as I have unfinished forms and I need some direction on what to do next. I am being relied upon to seek out alternatives. My background in this area isn't strong. Hi,I was successfully able to return a single entity object from a REST API with a swagger definition and display the data in an adaptive form, but I want to know how I can display an array. AEM is not able to process the swagger definition for an array or map. I tried few combinations, can someone give me an example swagger definition of an REST endpoint which works with AEM data model. I am trying not to write code to do the same as I want it to make it easy for me to add endpoints at will and form authors should be able to just use it to populate a drop-down list on the adaptive form. Appreciate the help. Does anyone know how to reach Adobe to purchase a copy of Adobe Experience Manager, I specifically need the Adaptive Forms piece.  I have had no luck talking to Adobe sales on the phone. I called and was on hold for an hour. I spoke to someone on chat and they gave me a phone number to call, that was the same number I was on hold for over an hour. Usually companies sales teams are the easiest to get a hold of...but not in this case. Been trying for a full day and no luck.  Does anyone know what a license/subscription costs for AEM - Forms?

I have a question which I have not yet seen fully answered. We need to install fresh AEM 6.5 JEE install.  Is the JDK ONLY included in Turnkey?  We went to support, we got a "you're on your own if not turnkey".   However we can't do a straight turnkey because of some security parameters (federal). So if we use the internal JBOSS  to do a standalone install, will we be responsible to provide the Oracle JDK or is Adobe?  Is that something we can get through support?  Or does support provide us a link to get it?   We get that you can't use OpenJDK, but the entire world seems to be going to that (including the feds!)  help on this issue would be appreciated.

Hello everybody, i am pretty new to the LifeCycleDesigner and especially JavaScript. So, bear with me and my and my basic questions, which I am still unable to really understand (even after googling for days).I am using the designer within SAP and want to create a form for purchase orders. In this form I want to have a global variable, which I can fill from every page and also access the stored data.As of now I created a Variable in the Form Properties and tried to fill and access it, but without any success.I know that I have to use “XFA.records<Fieldname>.value” to interact with the variable but with no results so far.Sorry for the probably easy question, but I am really struggling with this task.Maybe somebody can post some scrrenshots or sample code. Thanks a lot! 

Okay, so every so often when I am editing a form ((MAINLY FORM 8821, from the IRS)) I get a message that my form cannot be edited in Adobe & that it needs to be edited in LiveCycle Designer... But where & How do I do this. I can't info on LiveCycle Designer anywhere! And so when I ask adobe for tech support I am told that adobe does not offer support for livecycle any longer!

I have an Adaptive AEM form component that submits data to rest end point.The data that is submitted in the form is obtained in slingservlet.I want to get the path of the url in SlingServlet from where form is submitted.I try to use request.etResourceURI(). This gives the path of AEM form submit jsp.How can i get the path of the page in my Sling Servlet.Any help is much appreciated.Thanks

Hi,I am using aem adaptive forms so that end user can answer few questions and on submit, is shown relevant results on a different page.Below are the steps followed during implementation:Created an adaptive form under http://<<server name>>:<<port number>>/editor.html/content/forms/af/us/en-us/my-form.htmlCreated a custom submission action under /apps/custom_submit_action, business logic to invoke sling service to get results is added in post.POST.jspApproach is to set result object as an attribute in request and access it on results page and display results.Adaptive Form Container is configured with custom submit action and Thank You Page as results page for example http://<<server name>>:<<port number>>/editor.html/content/forms/af/us/en-us/my-form-results.html​Dropped AEM Form Component(available OOTB) on a sites page, to embed above adaptive form.On form submit, user is not redirected to results/thank you page, don't see any exception

We are looking to use the crx repository with the Forms and Output service in place of the LC repository.  We are on AEM Forms 6.5 JBoss.  When I tried replacing repository:// with crx:// in URLSpec.contentRootURI and set formQuery = lc/content/dam/formsanddocuments/TestForm65.xdp I get "ALC-FRM-001-035: Failed to load TemplateStream for FormQuery=/lc/content/dam/formsanddocuments/TestForm65.xdp from location URI =crx://".  I have tried everything between that formQuery and just TestForm65.xdp and always the same response.   How do I get this to work?

I have been working with Livecycle before, but now I'm doing some AEM Forms 6.4 and have no clue to solve this. Could you help me with some guidiance?I want to have a adaptive form that the user can fill in. After the user has filled it in, they should be able to click "Submit" and we send an PDF and json/xml(of the data in the form) to a 3rd party system and redirect the user to a "thank you"- page with the PDF that they can download.I have created a adaptive form thats sends a post, but where do I add the PDF, json/xml and redirects it?

Hi,Previously in AEM 6.3, there used to be forms blank template which can be selected to create a form ( cq:template=/libs/fd/af/templates/blankTemplate2). Now i dont see this template anymore after upgrading to AEM 6.4.6.0. In the upgraded version, we have to a first create a template from create template wizard and use it for form creation (cq:template=/conf/aarp/settings/wcm/templates/<custom template>) Wanted to confirm if this is the case. We have all the forms created based on previous experience and now the authors are not able to do certain operations (move, copy etc) with the form. What are our options here? 

After submitting data from my published mobileForm (xdp) I get a error message from the browser: "default.submit.html:1 Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 403 (Forbidden)" Inside my author instance all work fine only after publishing to the publishing instance I get this error.Any ideas? regardsJan

We have a new installation of AEM Forms 6.1 / WAS 8.5 / DB2/ Windows 2k12 - it appears that the native forms service particularly is not firing up. initially found through a SOAP calling hitting a short lived process. Later confirmed using FormsIVS. Doesn't seem to be related to CORBA or missing libraries (like in UNIX environments) . We will invoke rest webservice(JSON request/response) to get dropdown values, checkbox values.1st Field(Name) - Textbox2nd Field(City) - Dropdown(Values fetched from Webservice.
