Adobe Experience Manager Forms

We are looking at the future strategy for our forms (1400+ statewide use). They are currently developed in the desktop application AEM Designer 6.3. We do not use the full server Experience. I looked at the end-of-;life table and found something called "AEM (CQ) Forms" 6.0 and "AEM (CQ) All Capabilities" 6.1 - 6.4. Core support for 6.3 ends 4/30/2020. Is "AEM (CQ) All Capabilities 6.3" the same as AEM Designer 6.3? If so, is there something comparable - so, just for forms development, and not the full management suite - that we can migrate to?

We use code128 symbology considerably and the options for this in Livecycle seem a bit strange.There is this property 'Data length' which appears to adjust the density of the barcode but in an 'inverse manner':Usually one specifies a 'module width' - which is the width of the thinnest constituent of the different bar patterns that make up each encoded symbol.Larger module width means less dense [wider] barcodes.But here, the larger the value of 'Data length', the denser the barcode is rendered.However, it is related to how many characters are encoded.In many cases, for me, the length of data is not fixed - it is however long my string of data is [eg material descriptions etc.]1] Can I not control barcode density independently of the length of data?Seems very odd. My expectation would be a property to set module width and then I would enable 'expand to fit' in X dimension - but expand to fit is not possible for the object type.2] I see there are 'Code128', 'Code128A', 'Code128B', 'Code1

I've got an urgent problem with Adobe LiveCycle Designer and I really could use some help. The problem is that I'm trying to get my textfield expandable, but whatever I try, it's not working. What I'm trying to get done is that you can fill in a textfield, and when there is more text than the size of the field, the textfield expands to make the text fit in the field.I tried a whole lot of things:placing the textfield in a subformexpand to fit (height)allow multiple linesallow page breaksflowed/positionedetc.The strange thing is, that no matter what I try to adjust, I can't change anything in the pagination tab. Maybe that is the problem, but I don't know what to do, to change that.In the examples of Adobe itself (Purchase Form) is an example of a textfield that sort of behaves as I want it to, BUT the problem is that that textfield in the subform has to be triggered to appear by a button (add comments) and that is what I don't want. My general understanding of data binding is "vague" at best but currently I am struggling with a table that should have multiple body-lines.As best I understand it, the binding for the table of data is made against the body row, NOT the table.This then causes the rows to repeat for each row in my XML source data.However, I have a large number of columns in my table and it requires multiple body-lines for each row of the data table.I've created a 2nd body-line and wrapped both body-lines in a table-section.What surprised me is that I cannot bind the table of data to the table-section.The table of data remains bound to body-line 1 - which is working fine & showing the values of the fields.For body-line 2 - how can I get access to the data? If I re-bind the same object as body-line 1, I get to the fields I want but it has advanced to the next row.Thanks in advance

I am working on a requirement where I need to display results from back end service in Modal window with ability to search results within the model window and allow end user to select multiple rows/items from the modal. I'm trying to set up a branded Document of Record for our system, following instructions on Adobe Experience Manager Help | Generate Document of Record for adaptive forms .However, the text is very faint grey and bad for accessibility, and I need to change to a darker color.The XDP template in Designer has no place to change the font color, neither does the OSGi interface.How can I update the colors (effectively, the "CSS") for generated Documents of Record?Thanks!​

Hi Team,How to append / or - when user enters the value in aem form fields. For DOB it should append / like 12/12/1990 and for SSN it should append - like 122-321-1234. Patterns option is validating once the focus is out from the form fields whether the value is with that particular format or not.Is it possible to add / or - while entering the form field value using guideBridge API. If so can you please share some insights or examples. Thanks in advance.

I've been trying to solve this problem for two days now with no luck. I'm newbie in this world. I'm using ADOBE LIFECYCLE DESIGNER ES4 for SAP.My problem is that I have small price tags that I want to print to one A4 size paper. 2x5 labels in two rows. I have values coming from database and I print several sheets. It actually doesn't matter what happens before the form but the problem is that some of the database values are like 1080 characters long but size of text field is smaller. Only visible area of the text field should be printed to output PDF and all text should end with character "+". If this "+" doesn't show I know that the actual data is too long and I should get some sort of info that all my text didn't fit in to this area without going through all printed labels. All characters outside the visible area should be cut off completely so I can check if text printed on label is ended with "+". I can't just cut off text after f.ex. 255 chars because chars are different sizes and

Hi all,I am trying to create a function using GuideBridge API to populate the fields in an adaptive form from the response of an API, which gives me a key value pair where, the key matches the element name of the form field. Hi Team,In the recent release notes it was mentioned that allowedPaths property will be supported on adaptive forms templates but when i add this property on the editable base af template(/conf/{project name}/settings/wcm/template-types/baseaf/initial/.content.xml) it's not working. Still i can see newly created editable template while creating experience-fragments and content pages. Also i have tried to add at the /conf/{project name}/settings/wcm/template-types/baseaf/.content.xml but not luck. Hello,I am working for a small firm and we would like to create some simple pdf forms with a few adaptive fields (e.g for adding product numbers) , if possible.I filled this contact form: Adobe Marketing Cloud | Kontaktaufnahme mit dem Vertrieb  and I did not get an answer. I called the Sales Hotline and People are telling me that they dont know About AEM forms or that only a "Server Version" of AEM is available which has a five figure cost.I can not imagine that this is true and als on the Forum I found some indicators that other Options are available.Can you please provide some more detailed information on this and/or share the relevant contact details? Hello Gurus,I need an urgent help here.I am doing form development on SAP business By design and I dont have the access to backend data. So, I have to do everything in javascript.The requirement is to sort the content of the table to be printed and then we need to add sub-total row after a set of items end.So something like this.   Document #Item #Amount100111001001220010013300Subtotal 600100211001002210010023300Subtotal 500Now, in the 1st script I have written a logic to loop on the table- Compare current and next entry. Swap if 1st>2nd. (I am just replacing the content of rows at index 1 and 2)- Now I get a sorted table.- On the sorted table I have written script to add amount field but I found that in the second loop (it is iterating on unsorted data) which means that content was not bounded to node, it just changed at runtime. Although getting printed in the sorted manner.Please help on this issue.

Following the steps at the following link Adobe Experience Manager Help | Integrate Adobe Sign with AEM Forms But, I don't see the option "All the users, anonymous or logged in, can preview attachments, verify and sign forms" at step 12 of the article in my AEM instance. Could someone look into this and suggest me what are my next steps?

Adobe Experience Manager Help | Prefill adaptive form fields As per this document, you can use service://[SERVICE_NAME]/[IDENTIFIER]to call a service to prepopulate a form and also use "Identifier" to pass more info to the service.Anybody has more details on what this IDENTIFIER is supposed to look like? Also how do we retrieve it from within the service?
