Adobe Experience Manager Forms

I have a process deployed over AEM Forms with multiple instances of that process running. When terminating a process instance, the process instance is shown as terminated but it continues to work as per the process workflow for some time before the process gets terminated. The same thing happens when suspending a process Instance, the status of the process instance is marked as SUSPENDED but the activities defined in the workflow of the process keeps on executing for quite a while. Is there any way to instantly kill/terminate the process instance along with the activities being performed within the process?

I was trying to deploy the xdp files using the scriptedDeployment command but getting the below error , please advise Caused by: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: com.adobe.idp.applicationmanager.application.ApplicationId

Hi, we are migrating our forms from 6.1 to 6.3.  When we are launching our forms in 6.3 we are getting a javascript error that is blocking everything. Can someone help us to identify the root cause ? Node type of dataGroup, is what follows that error.It's strange, every single field is mapped just fine, it only happens with a particular one.Any ideas?

We consult a multi-national organization which now requires a new Web Portal application to manage a procedure which has until now been handled manually using a PDF form (XFA).The form can be viewed here:http://www.e-publishing.af.mil/%3FtxtSearchWord%3Dafto22Click "AFTO 22" to view it.We need to be able to enter data online into this form and also be able to read data from it dynamically. In other words we need to allow communications between the form and our corporate database (a SQL Server 2008 R2 database).We thought about using LiveCycle Workbench, but do not know whether this is the right solution.We'd like to consult with you about finding the right solution, and possibly have direct help in developing this project (which requires also the handling of digital signatures).We'd appreciate any help from you (as calling Adobe Support is practically impossible).

There is an adobe documentation on "Configuring Adobe Experience Manager Forms on JEE on JBoss Cluster" which explains installing AEM forms server in JBOSS (Cluster) with MYSQL. Hi All,We have created an user group in AEM adminUI which needs to be synchronized with the LDAP servers.We have added a new user to the LDAP(i.e. individual user as well as into the User group).only the user is appearing in AdminUI but the user inside the group is not appearing inside AdminUI.Am I missing anything.Thanks,Sobhan

Hello All,I have a pdf which generated from a word document .It has texts  but not like XFA form controls.I have to convert this form into the XFA form using Livecycle studio.I opened  pdf in livecycle studio,it  restructured the document into the studio structure.This pdf has forms like page1 and page2 and has subforms as it's children.When I change the content type as "Flowed" of page1,2 ,it disturbs the alignment and shifts everything to the left.Is there any way to make the form content type as flowed and does not disturb the alignment.Thanks,Vinod

Hi All,in AEM I am generating the HTML view of an XDP form taking help of the HTML profiling.So I have a Submit button within the XDP which needs to send the data of the form to one of the workbench processes, and do further processing.Since my form has become part of HTML profile, can we really use the submit button of the XDP to send the data to the workbench process, if yes how? Or I will have to add an external button to my HTML profile and take help of the formguide API to send the data Via a servlet to the workbench process.Any quick help on this available?Thanks,Sobhan

Hi,we would like to get Attachments from a PDF.In the former LiveCycle api we use FormsServiceClient.processFormSubmission to get a FormsResult, which has the method getAttachments.Now in the new Api of FormsService (AEM Forms API) there isn't a equivalent method to processFormSubmissionIs there a sample of getting attachments with the new AEM6 forms or any documentation about this?Thanks for any help!Raúl

Hi all,I do have a AEM Forms 6.1 (ex LiveCycle) Workflow in the Process Management module.Basically it's a approval workflow with several approval task (as AssignTask operation) based on a XDP form.Now I need a solution to check which user action (e.g. Approve, Deny) the user has selected in the HTML workspace. So let's say when the user clicks the "Deny" button I want him to get forced to fill in a comment field in the form.Thank you for your help.

I'm trying to create a simple AEM Form.I'm running AEM 6.2 with SP1, CFP7, logged in locally as Admin on localhost:4502.I installed packages AEM-FORMS-6.2-SP1-CFP7-WIN-3.2.124 and AEM-FORMS-6.2-GOV-REF-SITE-3.0.14 from Package Share.When I try to create a folder as shown below, nothing happens. Also nothing happens when I click the Create button in the Adaptive Form creation dialog.What could cause this?

Hi,We are using AEM forms in our project and one of the requirements is to change the form sequence basis external trigger such as user input, or url parameters.E.g. If user is identified to be of type "A", then sequence should be 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8If user is identified to be of type "B", then sequence should be 1, 5, 2, 3, 8, 4, 5, 6, 7Similarly other combinations can be configured.This needs to be configurable such that sequence can be changed when required. Is this achievable via AEM forms?Thanks

Hi I'm have different roles on my AEM forms platform.I want each role to have their own console accordingly to his role. For example i only want the admin to see the 'hammer' tab in navigation. or so that a author doesn't have a publish button in the forms toolbar.How can i achieve this?Thanks

Hello,I need a field in which a user is limited to a 3 digit entry which allows the numbers 0-9.Currently I am using a text field as my object on my form, so I can limit the length to three characters.I have looked into regular expressions in order to do what I want, but the problem is that I still can enter ".", "-", and "-".  That's the numpad Decimal, numpad Minus, and the dash keys.  I am unsure why these are allowed, but I need them to not be, as it allows a user to enter a negative or a decimal number into the field.  I imagine something isn't quite right with my regex or how I'm applying it.If there's a better way of going about this, I'm all ears.

Hi,I have installed AM forms 6.2 JEE on linux, everything works fine - I can view projects, install projects etc. However /lc/crx/de shows no nodes under '/', depsite being logged in.I can query the data using the search tool in crx/de and I can access package manager, but I don't see anything else under the root node. Is there a configuration setting missing for 6.2 JEE on linux, perhaps a privilege? I have used this on Windows without issue and linux osgi works as expected too. Any ideas?Thanks,Jim

We have AEM Forms 6.2 installed. When accessing URL <server><port>/adminui, we use "Administrator", but when invoking <server><port>/lc, we have to use "admin". How can we combine or synchronize the two and configure them pointing to an LDAP server such that we can use the same administrator user ID for both?Thanks-FF

I'm working with Theme Editor, and have built my theme for the Tabs on Left layout, which is in the default Child Support Services form. However, now I need to do styling  for Accordion, Responsive, and Tabs on Top, but I can't find a way to change the layout in Theme Editor. In actual Form Editor, I can choose the different panel layouts by clicking on the Panel properties, but I don't have that option in Theme Editor.  I'd rather not do a separate theme for each layout, as maintenance will become an issue. Is there a way to change the layout of the panels in Theme Editor, or will I just need to update the Theme CSS manually? Thanks!

Hi All,I have a requirement where I need to collect information (20 common fields) for multiple users on an Adaptive form.The user should be able to enter information for one person. Then the are presented the option to "Add Another".I tried using repeatable panel for this, however the problem here is I do not want to view other panels when filling this information.As soon as the add another button is clicked show a new panel to collect necessary information but hide all the other panels for previous users.What is the best way to handle this?
