Our authors want to filter the DAM based on path, type of file (file or folder)Currently we have DAM folder under /content/dam where 'loose assets' and 'folders' exist together (I'm assuming that's a normal) under any given path. But with AEM's OOTB filter option in DAM, we can't seem to filter folders. - I go to filter under dam - then there are 3 options under path - files, folders, files & folder :  Ónly 'Files' filter work and the other two doesn't seem to work. When I try to filter with 'Folders' - I see empty results, but we have loads of folders. Then I did the same in a 'vanilla' instance - plain 6.5 without any of our content and code, even there I see this problem : Is this a known issue ? I'm developing a "columns" component where the user can select the number of "columns" they want to create.  Our users find creating nested containers difficult and the idea is to make it easier for them to create more ornate layouts.  As an example if they want two columns then they would be able to select a 50/50 setting on the component and have 2 columns each 50% of the total width or they could select the 33/33/33 and have 3 columns of equal width.  This layout works well for desktop view, but I'm also trying to automate handling of mobile displays for them so they don't have to modify widths for when the information is displayed on a mobile device. What is the recommended way to pre-set the component so that on desktop they are next to each other, but on mobile devices they are stacked on top of each other and take full width?  If i was doing this within classic jquery bootstrap i would have something along the lines of for the 33/33/33 for example&l

Hello All, I have created an asset in my servlet using Asset Manager's createAsset method but it was deprecated. I searched on community regarding this I found the solution on this https://experienceleaguecommunities.adobe.com/t5/adobe-experience-manager-assets/correct-api-to-create-asset-in-aem-programmatically-as/m-p/437003#M2090 .In solution, he has suggested to use createOrReplaceAsset method but this method was also deprecated. I have published all the content including DAM to my local publish instance but for some reason, the images are not loading in publish instance with the core image component. I see all other contents though. Also, I have noticed that src has been manipulated. I see the correct path in the data-asset="/content/dam/projectname/others/ranch.jpg" of div.cmp-image. The manipulated image src looks like this src="/language-masters/en/projectname/life/history/_jcr_content/root/container/container/container/image_825388312.coreimg.jpeg/1654535206773/ranch.jpeg"Is there any configuration for the DAM that I am missing?I am using Service Pack 6.5.10, archetype version 35.Thank you!

When we are running our automated UI tests the following survey is popping up every now and then which kills the UI test and is slowly driving us all mad Is there a way to disable this for the entire instance or failing that for a specific user? I can't get it to show when I actually log on to the the author as the test user so I'm unable to see what happens when I dismiss it e.g. does it set a cookie or write a preference to the JCR in much the same way dismissing the tutorial prompts on first login does.

Hi,  While opening the page properties, I see no tabs and is showing blank. The resource super type of the page component is "wcm/foundation/components/basicpage/v1/basicpage".    Strangely, when I make the copy of the same page component and change the resource type in page to the new value, it open the properties. Hi All,   I noticed a weird issue in AEM not sure if its a bug or not. So when you upload an asset in AEM like below  -    The filename is displayed as "Customer Runbook.pdf" (highlighted in yellow)When you add a title to the asset and view it again it shows as below -      Notice how the filename has been modified to uppercase "CUSTOMER RUNBOOK.PDF"When a user grabs this filename and tries to upload an asset with the same name, AEM creates a new asset rather than a version thus differentiating between assets (abc.pdf vs ABC.PDF - While the local machine does not do so!)   This creates an issue as the authors are creating assets with different case sensitive file names rather than versions!You can still grab the correct filename from the URL but that becomes tricky when you have character encoding for space (%20) and other characters.Seems like a silly question maybe but this uppercasing the filename when title is added will be a valid behavio

My requirement is to move Client library's JS files to DAM instead of placing it into /apps/myproject/clientlibrary/js folder.I have updated base directory path defined in js.txt file as below#base=../../../../content/dam/myfolder/clientlibs/base/js instead of #base=js (standard one)BUT this is not working while same is working for /apps folder i.e. #base=../../../../content/dam/myfolder/clientlibs/base/js - NOT WORKING#base=../../../../apps/dam/myfolder/clientlibs/base/js - WORKING FINEI tried with updating Adobe Granite HTML Library Manager configuration as well adding root path in Allowed Library Path property(Tried with specific relative path - /content/dam/myfolder/clientlibs AND /content root path both) But It didn't work for me. Please provide the solution for this requirement. @kautuk_sahni @sachinarora17 @aanchal-sikka @kiran_vedantam @17388001 

our creative team has been using creative cloud (cc) applications via adobe id.we have recently on-boarded the same set of users to aem as federated id. however, as the same email is mapping to different id types for the applications - the login experience for using both aem and cc applications is not seamless. They have to login/logout of one application before using another. adobe customer support team suggested to open a support case from the cc console to switch id types.however, the adobe enterprise support for creative cloud has said that aem and cc apps are handled through different admin consoles so ideally they need to be on the same admin console to truly resolve this issue! creative cloud for "teams" license type can't use sso it needs to be "enterprise" to work with sso (federated id).is there any way to resolve this without migrating to enterprise license type for creative cloud?

We did all the steps of the font-manifest (https://helpx.adobe.com/digital-publishing-solution/help/cards-layouts.html#fonts-cards‌), but we are unable to upload our fonts on our build. We read the last topic about it and we followed the steps indicated by Andrei, but without success. "When creating the manifest, please make sure the json file is actually named "font-manifest.json". If you name it fonts.json, fonts won't be baked in the app properly and won't work. Hi all,I'm using aem 6.5, when i author a anchor link set with opening in new tab in RTE component its working fine and navigating to the specifed section in the new tab in view as published mode but when i click the same anchor link in published page its only opening the page in new tab but not navigating to the specfic section. Hi - My customer has got an AEM Assets as Cloud Service with Dynamic Media setup. They would like to use DAM as the single source of truth for assets and would like to access these assets inside Target and AJO. We figured out the AJO part but I could not find any documentation on how to link the DAM and Target. How are they supposed to access these assets inside Target for personalisation?Thanks,KK

Hi,Have you ever experienced this problem? Whenever you create a live copy/roll-out a master page, all the reference links inside a page get updated to the live copy equivalent links automatically; however, this is applicable only for the links which are stored inside a component property or page property in a page. If there are links referenced in editable template structure content or inside an experience fragment, which is used in a master page, it won’t be updated to the live copy equivalent link on roll-out. This is because these are shared or global content, which will be stored in one location (“/conf” or “/content/experience-fragments”). We found a Solution for this problem here in the below link, but couldn't able to proceed clearly, can anyone please explain step by step or help us understand this clearly, so that we will try to implement the same and make it work for any Experience fragment which we gonna create even in future.https://blog.developer.adobe.com/msm-live-c

When I have an ajax call to an aem sling servlet.  Sling servlet setting a cookie header "Set-Cookie", which is coming through response headers on Author, Publisher.But on Cloud Front URL, this "Set-Cookie" not coming through response headers. Could some one help me, Do I need to mention what headers allowed from Cloud Front to front end client? ThanksSri

Whenever I'm creating a headless content package by adding a filter by folder path, any update in the existing content is ignored during deployment. When I build and download the package in a lower environment, I can see the updated content is available. Even after uploading the package and downloading it in a higher environment, I can see the changes available. So it's confirmed that content is getting ignored during installing just because of the filtering content using the folder path. Has anyone noticed a similar behaviour? Wondering if it's a desirable behaviour? Here is the filter I have for content package:<filter root="/content/dam/xyz/en/<Folder-Name>" mode="merge"/> 

Hi all, Need your expert comments. We are using CQ 5.6.1 We have a requirement to capture "Last-Modified" attribute in "Response Header" for DAM assets like PDF. We are able to see "Last-Modified" attribute in response header on Author & Publish for DAM assets. But "Last-Modified" attribute is missing when we try to access the same asset from Dispatcher. Is there any extra disptacher configuration that we need to make this work. Other response header atribute are appearing on dispatcher without any issue.
