What part of a page build do I need to populate to ensure that there is a thumbnail image available for a link preview on social media (such as LinkedIn)? In the "Images" tab of a page template, I see "Featured image" and "Thumbnail" - do these both need to have an image in them? 

Can anyone please tell me how to import all the AEM files to S3 while maintaining the folder structure on S3 as it is on AEM using a Java application?

Hello All, Core button component Link field is of type: granite/ui/components/coral/foundation/include When we author button path it only shows content pages like below: We have a requirement to show both content and DAM path here. I tried adding jcr property nodeTypes="dam:Asset, nt:file, cq:Page" to link field but its not working. I saw Richtext component pathfield shows both content and DAM path as below: We want something like this. Is this possible in Core Button v2 component?

I'm trying to use the AEM Core Form container using a proxy component. I am able to author the container in AEM, and when I check CRXDE's content for the page, all of my entered info is in the JCR as it should be.  However, the values in the JCR are not being passed to my Angular component. When I log all the values that should be getting passed through, I just get undefined for all of them. Not a single value is passed.   I've tried multiple things, making sure angular component is mapping to the right path using MapTo in the Angular component, full re-install of AEM, checked the template and component policies, re-installed the core components in the package manager, etc.   As a test, I created proxy components of the AEM Core Form Text and Core Form Button without defining my own Java class, similar to the container component that isn't working, and that stores values in the JCR and passes them to Angular and logs them in the console no problem.  However, when I

Hi Team, I have requirement in ACS Commons Reports, where I am passing a dropdown in search parameters which contains different templates but in result parameters, I need to make columns dynamic. I have a Use case where I need to let the Aem authors show a warning that If any other author is editing the same page in Classic UI at component level , Like if "John" is editing text component, We need to let other authors show the warning that if they are trying to edit the same component in the same page, like a popup dialog ,That john is editing this page,  Do you still want to proceed, If they click yes, they can edit, if they click no they can't edit. Looking for ideas and suggestions other than locking the page if anyone implemented this logic in their projects. Thanks in advance.

Scenario is :-We added the pages to translation jobs first time then it gets translated correctly.Second time if master english page is updated and same page is send for Retranslation using Update Language Copy option from reference panel OR  Translation job submission from Project Console. It creates a launch for the page. When translation came back from ETMA system into AEM, the pages wont get updated with translation. If we manually promote launch then It overrides the language copy page with English master page.We use Automatically promote launch + Delete launch after promotion + Human Translation settings checked during job submission.Expected: Language copy pages should gets retranslated w.r.t English master page.Actual: Page won't get retranslated and updated and manually promote launch overrides the English master copy(if launch is not selected for Delete after promotion option)@aanchalsikka @kautuk_sahni

Hey everyone, I'm trying to install the forms core components and am having a bit trouble getting the core bundle started.   I'm on 6.5 with service pack 16 installed as well as the latest forms add-on package.   I've followed the instructions here to enable adaptive forms core components and have got most of the way. For some reason though, the core bundle won't start as it's missing some dependencies:   Does anyone know if there's an easy or obvious way to get those dependencies installed on my 6.5 instance to be able to run that bundle?

This issue was supposed to be fixed in 2023.8.0 release. But this issue is not resolved in the release. Impacting website badly. When this issue and related issues will be fixed? Are you all also facing the impact of this issue?

Team,I had another query opened but I was closed.  how to query JCR to get results in random order. For every query of JCR, the results should be in random order. Like in SQL where there is order by rand(). Hi Team, We are creating pages programatically on publisher it self, and setting sling vanity urls. We have observed that few pages working fine but few of them goes 404.Path pattern is Content path is : /content/myproject/products/product-categoty/product.htmlVanity path is : /content/myproject/product.html I have checked the error logs on publisher.GET /content/myproject/vivoy128gb-storagegold-8gbram.html HTTP/1.1] org.apache.sling.engine.impl.SlingRequestProcessorImpl service: Resource/content/myproject/vivoy128gb-storagegold-8gbram.html not foundWhen we travers page through crx/de repository to actual page "/content/myproject/products/product-categoty/product.html" and performed dummy save operation same page started working.Also another behaviour is after few day's same page went 404, without any content update or any other operation. Then again need to do the same practice.

Annotation tool is not showing up for components other than parsys in the page.Observations:The components have cq:action property in cq:editConfig node under them, which donot contain 'editannotate' property value. Adding 'editannotate' value to each components solves the problem.But instead of making changes to each individual components, can we have any global solution for a component group or any access on a template level works?

I am using the ACS Commons Dispatcher TTL feature to set max-age headers to certain requests. I've also configured a list of query parameters which are ignored by Dispatcher. Both of these are working as expected. However, if a request is made to a page that contains ignored query parameters, then the page becomes cached in Dispatcher, but with no max-age header. This appears to be expected behaviour for the ACS Commons Dispatcher TTL feature, so what is the best way to ensure that requests that contain ignored query parameters can still be cached in Dispatcher with a max-age header? EDIT: This unwanted behaviour only occurs if a request is made to a page that has not yet been cached in Dispatcher (or the cache has expired), and the request contains query parameters on the list of ignored query params, so that Dispatcher still creates the cache file, but no max-age header is added by the ACS Commons code.

Hi,  I’m facing this issue where full text search does not show results in production whereas it works in lower environments. Do we have to enable something for the full text search to work ? 

Problem Statement --> AEM Tag references are lost when we do move/merge operation via tagging console. Steps to reproduce the issue Step 1 -> Create the following tags1. Tag A2. Tag  A --> Leaf 13. Tag B4. Tag B --> Leaf 1 Renamed Step 2 -->  Adding tag to a Page1. Open any page properties.2. Add Leaf 1 tag3. Save the properties Step 3 --> Navigate to Tagging consoleStep 4 --> Select Leaf 1 Tag and check it's references, it should show the page which was created in step 2.Step 5 --> Perform merge operation on Leaf 1 to Leaf 1 renamed.Step 6 --> Select Leaf 1 Renamed Tag and check it's references, it should show the page which was created in step 2.Step 7 --> Select Tag A and Merge it into Tag BStep 8 --> Repeat Step 6 now we are not able to see the tag references. Questions 1. Hello community,I went through and update the catalogs listed on our company website and all look great, sorted by Title, alphabetically. However, there is one outlier file named, "ecoFIT Industrial PE Catalog" that falls to the end of the list. It should be closer to the top by the other documents starting the the letter "E" and I can not figure out how to get the file to sort to its correct position. Hi Team,I have a simple multilingual multi page website build using AEM 6.5, HTML, CSS, Javascript and Jquery.In website we have multiple links in header, on click of specific link from header html page is rendered and each html page is built using multiple Web Components and content is author-able.I have a requirement in same website on click of a specific link from header, I need to load page built with ReactJS component. I have react code ready, but how can I integrate with AEM project.Can anyone please help with reference links for the same?I am new to AEM, all references which I got are related to including ReactJS component in SPA app. Thanks
