We're trying to ensure the same visitor from web and a mobile app are counted as the same unique visitor, rather than two separate visitors.According to this documentation: Connecting Users Across Devices We need to set the s.visitorID for users that are logged in. This is easy to do in web via DTM, but how do we set the visitorID via the mobile app SDKs (iOS). (Note we currently don't have Experience Cloud setup - Analytics is the only Adobe product we're using, and as I understand it, regardless, we still need to set a custom visitorID

Hello,I've been a happy DTM + Analytics user for 2 years now on my project. In my company a new team is also willing to use the solution and I'm trying to help them.I set up the projects and I have been trying a few things with no success so far.I created a simple page load rule, with no condition, setting evar1=1 and sending event1 and with custom page code to display a message in the console.When I load the page the satellite javascript is loaded, the page load rule is fired (as seen in the console & in debugger) but there's no call to Analytics (and no message in the console)...I guess I'm missing a basic setup but I've been scratching my head for a few days now...an idea ?thanks for your feedback Nico

While Testing the implementation rule order to stack different values before sending the beacon props and eVars seem to work as expected, but the event's string, although it appears stacked on the debugger, doesn't send all the events when the server call is triggered.Below is the first rule, order 10, which sets a bunch of props and eVar and also event45Below is the second rule, order 25, which sets some other of props, eVars and also event4,event24 which appear stacked with the previous event45Below is the beacon that was sent, order 50, with only event4,event24 I'm not sure if that's a bug or there's a reason all the events are not being stacked.

Are variables (in this case an array) created within a rule only local in scope to that time the rule fires? Is there a way to create a persistent array within Launch?I have a page with a list of documents and a checkbox next to each. A user can select what they want, then press a button at the bottom which basically shares these documents. What I'm trying to do in Launch is each time the user clicks a checkbox, it adds (or removes) the doc item from the array. I'm creating the array in the rule but checking for its existence. So the rule fires, I got the document name and I can push it into the array. The problem is the array keeps getting created despite checking for it. Hi,I would to set cookie using _satellite.setCookie(cookiename, value, days) but if you see the parameters, we have an option to expire it in days. On the other hand, I want to expire the cookie when user session ends. Is there any way to achieve this?Thanks in Advance !

I have a form and I'm trying to track 3 selects in the form and 3 text fields, using DTM. I can't get it to work properly? I tried an event-based rule first with my test code and the selects work as designed until I click on a text field. First time I click on a text field, the code works fine but then anytime after that when I click on any element with a listener, the code runs proportionally. For example, If I change the value in the text field, that code will run twice. If I then change the select, that code will run 3 times etc. I have also tried this code in a page load rule and the selects work fine but the text fields don't work at all. I have no idea how to fix this issue? Hi,My website has two different domains. Some pages are in domain 1 and some are in domain2. I have a requirement where I have to read data from a first party cookie in domain 2 and use that data when user go to domian 1  from domain 2. Both domain uses same DTM web property.I tried session level data element and DTM local storage but no luck. Value of data element / local storage set in domain 2 are not available in domain1.Is there any solution by which this can be achieved ?. Will  "span across multiple domain" in web property setting help ? Thanks

I have been having weird issues and found out that the app measurement library is loading twice when our web pages load. You can see this anywhere on bankofthewest.com. I'm not sure how to get to the source of why? Any ideas or advice would be appreciated!

Hello,We have a standard digitalData. datalayer which collects values throughout a checkout funnel. With ever increasing security issues we’re looking to encrypt the field values and push to the datalayer. The plan is to then use DTM/Launch to run a script maybe within each data Element/custom code to decrypt and pass on into Analytics.Has anyone had any experience with doing anything like this and how from a development (on page) and DTM perspective did you achieve?Many thanks for any help

I can see that option available in the Adobe Launch, however, once I enter both report suites Adobe Launch is asking me to fill Tracking Server values.So, my question is what Tracking Server values should I enter?ThanksJonas

I have this strange problem with Launch. I’m setting up a new property and have already setup my data elements, rules, extensions etc. I've created the library and published my changes to Development.In my dev site, I can verify that it’s loading the dev Launch environment. Using Experience Cloud debugger, I can see Launch's Adobe Analytics-related logs, ending with[Adobe Analytics] Applying the following properties on tracker: "..."and it lists all of my props, evars, etcBUT there are just no hits going out to my tracking server!Strangely, I could see hits when I had first published my dev library and browsed my dev site. But then, I tweaked the AA extension (updating the list of "Never Track" items), and rebuilt my library. From then on… no more hits!To ensure that the .min.js file was being updated with each publish, I opened it directly in my browser. Then I republished the library. When I reloaded the .min.js, I saw its buildDate update to the current time. So the publishing is wo

After creating a rule and pressing "Save and build for development" button today, the whole UI has been stuck in building process for hours. I tried to initiate a new building, then both of them appear "pending". Neither Reloading the page nor sign out and -in again solves the issue.Have debugged in browser network, I see request that is probably linked to build status check, whose response for meta appears as below:meta":{"build_status":"pending","build_required_detail":"Last build was not successful"}}],"meta":{"pagination":{"current_page":1,"next_page":null,"prev_page":null,"total_pages":1,"total_count":1}}}Now it is really stuck here, no work can be done there, please help asap.

Is it possible to easily roll back to an older version that has been published before?What steps do I have to take?I imagine something like clicking on an older library in publish and set make that the current build? Or maybe clicking on one of the libraries published before and set that to unpublish.

Hey All!Our percent (25,50,75,100) video rules seem to be firing multiple times. My hunch is they are firing stacked on top of each other. So the 25 percent is firing on 50,75, 100, etc. and on our Video Complete tag. Any thoughts why this may be happening?Any way I can create a condition that says "fire ONLY on the first 25% watched?"Thanks in advance for the help!
