What is the real life use-case of " Manually enter surfaces " ?I create multiple activities in Target with mboxes like " test1 " and " test2 "And if other conditions are met then these Target activities match with the surface then that activity is displayed?Could somebody explain how that works?

Hi Experts, We have pushed an audience from Snowflake to AEP, and in AEP source dataflow, we are able to see same amount of records as in Audience in snowflake.Same amount is ingested in AEP Dataset as well.However, in the AEP audience, count is reduced to half.The dataset consist of segment membership map, but I'm unable to find AEP audience ID in its list.I would like to better understand how audience filed work in AEP Audience. And where can I check for the descripency. Thank you!Shivani

My team is working on upgrading the Adobe Mobile SDK and had the following questions regarding the ecid service.Need to understand how the ecid process works and the impact of no connectivity (this often happens at Royal on our ships) : If the app opens for the first time with no internet connection - how does getExperienceCloudId work?If the call fails, is an ecid assigned some other way?It looks like it is an async call - How does it impact our data collection for the first several analytics calls (lifecycle events) if the call times out or is delayed? Are the calls cached? Do they fail? something else?

I'm trying to figure out how to request AEP segment data for a user on the client side of an AEM managed site via the SDK. Can someone point me in the right direction?

Hi Team: We had successfully implemented AEP adding Schemas, Data streams etc., We can see the mapped data flow through on the Platform Debugger tool. The issue we are seeing is that there is NO clear direction on how to configure Geo data on AEP. We are trying to get Lat, Lon, City, State and Pincode information flow through. But, having trouble configuring it and need help in direction. Thank you,Sam. 

Quick back story, our site is largely "members only". So the majority of our content is traffic from known people and we track their demographic info.We have a rule in our configuration sending data to Adobe Analytics. We set a lot of evars on "every page load" that includes things like page name, account name, userID, zone and group information. We also have added things in this "every page load" rule for things like "on the search results page" add the keyword searched to an evar. We had a suggestion from a team member to remove that keyword search from the every page load an only load it on the search page, but we would also be duplicating all the other evars in that new search only rule so we don't lose the other evars we are tracking on the "every page" which would become every page except a few..." I've heard that too many rules triggering on a page impacts performance, but does the number of evars in a single rule also impact performance? If there is a rule that trigge

Hi Team, I have one question on defining the identity. During the registration, customer will submit basic details and get the user name and password. For example from the basic details , i am considering email as primary identity and creating the profile in AEP.If website provides other login options like Continue with google, Facebook, X, Apple id etc.Case 1 : Same customer using all the different options at different time intervals , how i can define the identity for each login method which should create single profile. For example google will use email as login id and will consider email as Primary identity in AEP. Case 2 : IF same customer using different emails for different login options, how to handle this situation. Objective : 1) Create single profile for single customer in AEP with different login options.2) Identify customers based on login methods Could you please suggest best options to handle the situations. Thanks and RegardsVinaya bab

Hi everyone,We’re planning to implement Configuration-as-Code for Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) to version and track all changes in GitLab. However, we’re unsure if it’s realistic to ask developers to make changes directly in files (which will later sync with AEP via API).We’re considering a hybrid approach where UI changes are allowed in DEV, but once validated, they must be committed to GitLab as files. All other environments (SIT, UAT, PROD) would only get configurations through GitLab files applied via the AEP API.Has anyone tried this? Hi Everyone, I’m exploring whether it’s possible to apply DULE labels to attributes in a schema via API. I know we can Create/Update/Delete labels using the Policy Service APIs, but is there an option to apply these labels when creating/updating a schema via API? Any guidance would be appreciated! Thanks!

Hi, While integrating Assurance to our Android app, we faced a problem with assurance pin screen overlay being disappeared. While debugging, we found out that the assurance SDK runs AssuranceFullScreenTakeoverActivity, however due to our current multi activity setup, AssuranceFullScreenTakeoverActivity has been overtaken by other activity. Basically, in our current setup, we start with SplashActivity, then we switch to MainActivity. Looks like AssuranceFullScreenTakeoverActivity is squeezed between those. Question is, is there any way to control when AssuranceFullScreenTakeoverActivity is launched? Or what you'd suggest to do in such multi activity setups.

  How can we manage consent data in AEP for users with multiple mobile devices? In our usecase the customer can have push notification of multiple types like offer_push, sale_push, back_in_stock_push , change_of_delivery_date push. Is there a way to handle this using the out-of-the-box consent and preference field group? From my understanding, the OOTB field group only accommodates a single push consent, rather than multiple types of push consents.   Thanks, Arpan
