Adobe Journey Optimizer

Hi Team, We are working on creating an audience that qualifies profiles based on the Edge Merge Policy where the ECID and attributes of the profile will be added to "Hub" option, that converts into "Edge" which takes around 10 to 15mins for the attribute to get added into Edge segment. We have observed that not all profiles are getting converted into Edge even after 4 to 5 hours. We are looking to set up our AJO/AEP sandbox such that members who unsubscribe using our link in the email itself. However, we also want to make sure we can configure the email such that members who unsubscribe using the integrated Unsub feature in their ESP (gmail, outlook, etc) also unsubscribe from further communications from us.  Any documentations on this, or info on how we could get this done?

Hi all,I am looking for a solution where I need to export the Opt-out status to a third party solution as soon as the user clicks on unsubscribed on a AJO landing page. Since it needs to happen near real time, Dataset export is not in scope, is there any alternate way like triggering a custom action based on change in subscription list or a consents.marketing.email attribute value? Along with consent status I would also need to pass customer ID, and timestamp. Looking for some suggestions!Thanks

Hello,  I have a use case where our main client (Adobe users) would like to partner with some Non-Profits to send emails alerting folks about a program coming up. The challenge is, the non-profits own the data but do not wish to have their data stored in AEP.  This can be done in Campaign if the messages are transactional where you can choose not to create a profile. However, the clients wants to send a Launch email (Batch - Read Audience) using the non-profit data. Does anyone have any experience on how we can send this email and not store the data in the clients data schema? Thank you

Hello,  We develop our own HTML outside of the Email Designer in AJO. We recently are having an issue with a Background image not displaying - even when we choose to Simulate Content. We have text overlaying the background image in White Font, so when the background image does not display, it does not show the text, which is a problem for us.  I understand that background-image needs to be in an URL format - which we've done. But, now it appears that maybe the coding is not correct any longer. I am working on sending emails to users through AJO activity and stuck at a step where i need to find the users who clicked on a particular link that has been sent as part of email. I previously worked on "User opens email" through Reaction step and it worked like a charm. We have a live journey where members were not receiving the email as expected (unitary event/triggered). A day later, they received the email and the message feedback status was equal to "delay". Is there any in depth explanation to why a delay would happen?

Hi, I have a scenario where I need to create an audience in AEP such that:A profile should qualify for the audience if they meet certain criteria in the last 30 days.Once qualified, they should not be able to re-qualify for the same audience again until 90 days have passed.Can anyone suggest the best approach to implement this logic?How should I manage the datetime attribute or event tracking in my schema so I can check time-based eligibility?What’s the recommended way to set up the segment definition using Segment Builder or PQL to enforce this “qualify-in-30, block-for-90” logic?ThanksAJODev

Hello, I'm in the process of implementing RT-CDP and AJO and trying to figure out the best approach for using an external preference center with granular preferences. There will be 6 different email options (newsletters, promos, etc.) that a customer can choose to opt-in/out. I've been reading the docs but am getting a little lost trying to piece it all together. Do I set up subscription lists? Do I set up separate channel configurations for each communication type and set opt-out at the channel level instead of identity level? Do I implement an opt-out API call on the external preference page to capture preference changes (https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/journey-optimizer/using/channels/email/email-opt-out#opt-out-external-lp)? Do I set up the Consents and Preferences field group and Web SDK on the external preference page to capture preference changes (https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/experience-platform/xdm/field-groups/profile/consents)? I w

In Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO), when creating a new in-app template using the custom Layout by writing HTML code, we can preview the template in other modes such as Full Screen, Modal, and Banner. However, I've observed two issues:Sometimes, when switching the layout from Custom to another type(e.g., Modal, Full Screen, or Banner) and then reverting back to Custom, the previous written HTML code disappears. Despite this, the template still appears correctly in the other layout previews.In some cases, when changing the layout from Custom to another type and then reverting back, the Custom code not only disappears from the Custom View but also causes the template to no longer appear in any of the layout previews.

Hi Team,We have a requirement to wait for 2 days after a purchase date. I tried using setDays(<eventDate>, 2).  But its setting the date to 2nd day of the month, rather than 2 days after customer purchase date. Is there any function that supports this need?  Thanks

Folks, I am checking one use-case where I want the profiles to wait exactly 3 days before their product delivery and trigger a communication from AJO.I tried using setDays() function like below,setDays(toDateTimeOnly(@event{xxx.bookingdetails.deliveryDate}), -3)If the delivery date is June 15th then the profile should wait till June 12th and proceed to further step in the journey. This way it will be dynamic for all the profiles. Any idea on this ? whether this is feasible through journey? Thanks in Advance! 

Hello,   We have developed a custom profile schema for managing consents and are not using the default 'Custom and Preferences' field group. However, due to certain channel configurations in Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO), when a customer unsubscribes from a channel, the default fields are automatically updated on the profile to indicate that the customer has opted out. I need to prevent these default fields from being updated when a customer unsubscribes from a channel. Instead, I want the custom fields in my schema to be updated. What is the best way to achieve this?   Additionally, I have a second question: How can I remove the unsubscription date from profiles that have already been updated with this information? The AJO consent service dataset does not display any data, but I still see the unsubscription date in the profile. Would it be advisable to create a new dataset from this schema and update it? I would appreciate any insights you have on this.

I have a requirement in the journey that I creating. The requirement is to check on a date attribute to see if it is "y" days from current date i.e., let's say that "end_date" is 'xx-xx-xxxx xx:xx:xx' and it is equal to y days from today's date, then continue with the journey, otherwise end right there. When I pick the date field attribute and try to check if it is current_date + y days, I don't get the current_date option. It looks like the check will happen "y" days after when I create the journey. How do I implement the same in AJO?
