We are using an image map to define different areas of an image that link to different URLs. However, in our AJO email template, these URLs are not being tracked. Does AJO support tracking for image map links in emails?

Hello,Can we add the UTM Parameter utm_content to a URL of  a particular email instead of adding it to the Channel Surface, since I want the above UTM Parameter to appear in the URL where I have added this parameter?

Hi Team, For a journey consisting multiple emails we are observing that on a particular day we are seeing a significant bump in number of clicks in email, but followed by no clicks for next 4-5 days. The profiles enter journey on a daily basis so it should not be happening, we should be observing certain number of clicks everyday. Can you please guide on what could be the reason. Thanks

Hello,  I have a client that has 100K unique (1x use only) Coupon Codes to 100K profiles. We only want to append 1 unique coupon code  to a profile. No 1 coupon code should exist across more than 1 profile; it should be a 1:1 append.  How can I accomplish this in AJO since they don't have a Coupon Management component?  Please advise

Hi! Is it possible to set up alerts in AJO for the following cases? 1. When we reach a certain number of sends for an specific campaign2. When we hit a threshold of errors for an specific campaign?3.If no messages were sent in the last 15 minutes for an specific campaign? If not natively supported, what’s the best workaround? Is there anyway I can check and remove a profile from an Audience once it has completed 30 days as part of that audience ?Example - Profile X qualified in Audience A on 1st May, we want it to be removed from that Audience on 31st May. Which attribute and logic shall we use for the same ?

Hi Folks, I have created few profiles in AEP with time-zone field added with respective different country details as  following,Asia/KolkataAsia/JakartaAsia/Riyadh 1st Scenario - Created the journey with segment followed by Email activity. The journey scheduled to run at 10 AM with default time-zone provided as IST time. The journey triggers all the emails at same time whereas I am expecting the emails to be received depend on Profile Time-Zone. 2nd Scenario - Created two different journeys with Segment, followed Wait activity with following expression conditions and Email activity,- toDateTimeOnly(setHours(nowWithDelta(0, "hours"), 13))- setHours(toDateTimeOnly(toDateOnly(now())), 13) Expected the emails to be received by profile in their own time-zone but received the emails as per the Journey defined time-zone. Is there any issue with time-zone values ? Hi there,Can you let me know what expression I can use to show only the last 4 digits of accountnumber in one of the fields in Custom Action (under Actions in Journey Builder)?I tried this but throwing me errors saying i cannot use the character '-' like this because it is a keyword of the language. I tried adding double and single quotes to wrap -4 but no luck either. substr(toString(#{headfield.at(0).accountNumber}), (length(toString(#{headfieldat(0).accountNumber})) - 4), 4) Thanks!

In documentations there is a sentence: In this example, we want to restrict profiles from entering more than “5” journeys in a month. This means that profile can enter only 5 unique journeys in a month but it can enter specific journey multiple times but its set up in the journey itself? https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/journey-optimizer/using/conflict-prioritization/journey-capping

In Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO), I'm defining an audience using a rule where:registration_date <= expect_date - 3 months. The format of the registration_date is:2025-03-10T14:43:57Zand the format of the expect_date is:2025-06-03T00:00:00Z.This means that expect_date - 3 months evaluates to approximately:2025-03-03T00:00:00Z.Since 2025-03-10T14:43:57Z is after 2025-03-03T00:00:00Z, the profile should not meet the condition and should be excluded from the audience.However, in practice, this profile is still included in the audience. could you please advise why AJO behaves like that.   

I’m trying to use the Journey Optimizer REST API to update custom profile attributes, but my payload returns a 200 OK while no changes are applied. Has anyone faced this, and what is the correct endpoint and JSON structure to successfully sync profile data?

Hi Team,I’m experiencing an issue with in-app messaging in AJO on iOS devices.I can see that screen_view event is reliably fired every time the login page is displayed, and I can see these events & logs in Assurance.However, the in-app message only appears intermittently.This issue seems to be specific to iOS, as it works as expected on Android.Has anyone faced a similar issue or have suggestions for troubleshooting iOS-specific problems?Are there known limitations or additional configurations required for iOS (such as WKWebView, privacy settings, or SDK initialization order) that could cause intermittent in-app message display, even when events are tracked correctly?ThanksAJODev

We have a journey where we want to include the last transaction date in the payload from timeseries schema that we sent via custom action. We use the following function to pull the last transaction date, (#{ExperiencePlatform.testFieldGroup.profile.timeSeriesEvents.last().abcCorp.transaction.transactionDate}) But when we see the resulting data it's not pulling the date and always returning nothing. This is happening with all of the fields within timeseries schema. Is there any other way to get the value from timeseries data within advanced expression while we use custom action?

AJO - Can custom actions be used in Campaigns as well, (not only in Journeys)? If so how to add a custom action to a Campaign?I have custom actions already created, which are currently used in a Journey. I am wondering whether I can use these custom actions in a Campaign. In AJO, how can I ingest and process millions of streaming events per hour for profile enrichment and split-criteria evaluation - while preserving sub-second decision latency and avoiding backpressure or throttling?

How can I configure journey to route users into different content variants within a single journey based on real-time event thresholds like >10 purchases in the last 72 hours without having to create separate segments for each threshold?

  You can send communication at any time but if your messages don’t get to your customers at the right time, they won’t be effective. Think of multitude of this issue if you have common operating paradigm with no brand and no market isolation with shared AEP/AJO instance for global implementation. With no isolation of data and operating groups it will be very tricky to send some communications based on consumer active time + time zone.   Lets chime in to a use case: Consider an operating model in which a marketing or operations team works from a single geolocation in a single time zone and must plan a campaign that takes into account the user's active time of the day and the time zone they are in (where they have consumers from multiple geos).This would be tricky to orchestrate campaigns based on consumers active time + time zone and in some situations due to time zone differences we might have to send the communication next day's based on next days active time + time z

Hi Folks,I have created a form using landing page with text fields and checkbox. After submitting I can see the consent gets updated but the text field data is not getting captured. Is there a possibility to store it in the profile ? or is it getting stored in any of the OOTB dataset within AEP ?Can anyone provide some more insight on this ?Thanks in Advance!

Very new to AJO/AEP ... I haven't even had the opportunity to even use it or try it out in any fashion; my only familiarity with it is via YouTube/Adobe vids. Currently, I use Salesforce/Marketing Cloud/Email Studio extensively.  In my use-case, we send out informational emails regularly, but we don't have/use profiles which is the case with AJO. I build the email in Email Studio and an organization member will send me a list of recipients to whom the email is directed. This happens each time. Yes, it's Old School, but the information and the target differs from case to case. Having a data lake of profiles that we can segment and send to (the way it works in AJO) just isn't possible with our business model. So is it possible to build an email, upload a fresh list of recipients, and send that email out to those recipients each time? Thanks!

Hi, I would like to know how IP pools associate to dynamic subdomains. My use case is to have one email configuration for several countries instead of having one email configuration for each. This is also a typical use case stated in Adobe docs: https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/journey-optimizer/using/channels/email/configure-email/surface-personalization However, I would like to have different IP pools for each country as this is already setup in the sandbox. Below screenshot shows that resource URL, Mirror URL and Tracking URL will be populate based on the resolved dynamic subdomain. What though will happen with the IP pool?According to the setting it seems that I have to choose one and same IP pool for the email configuration and thereby also the resolved dynamic subdomain. Is this correct? Thanks!/Mikael
