Request for Feature Enhancement (RFE) Summary: A service user / technical account should be able to be created for Cloudmanager GIT (eg. Oauth/certificate-based-login, through AdobeIO / Adobe Developer Console) to avoid using regular users with password (difficult with FederatedID) for operations on Cloudmanager GIT. Use-case: when using cloudmanager, one needs to constantly sync the 3rd party git to Cloudmanger. To do this in an automated fashion, a service user / technical account is required. The current approach is a workaround in creating a regular user with password in Adobe Admin Console, but this is insufficient and error-prone (at last once a year). Current/Experienced Behavior: No real technical account to access and use Cloudmanager-GIT in a automate fashion can be creaeted. Improved/Expected Behavior: A technical account should be able to be created (eg. though Adobe-Developer-Console / AdobeIO, maybe in the Cloudmager API) which uses certificate-login/Oauth. Request for Feature Enhancement (RFE) Summary: When using a path browser and searching (ie in the thumbnail of the page) for a particular image, the results appear to only be based on the name. Search results from the assets search (when placing an asset in a page) or in the global search are different (as they appear to search the metadata as well). Use-case: Have the same search results when doing a search using the path browser component as in other search location (assets search and global search) Current/Experienced Behavior: On a base install of 6.5 with SP18: If you search for "biking" on http://localhost:<port>/mnt/overlay/wcm/core/content/sites/properties.html?item=/content/we-retail/us/en/experience/arctic-surfing-in-lofoten in the "Thumbnail" tab > Select image > then do a search for "biking", you get 3 results (with one being the "mountain-biking.jpg"). When you search for "biking" in the asset panel of the page (http://localhost:<port>/editor.html/content/we-retail/us/en/experience/arctic-surfing-in-lofoten.html), you get about 20 resulting images. Improved/Expected Behavior: We should be getting the same results from a search using the pathbrowser component as other searches (so in this case 20 results) Environment Details (AEM version/service pack, any other specifics if applicable): AEM 6.5 Out of the Box with SP 18 applied Customer-name/Organization name: Jit Shrestha / Virginia Tech Screenshot (if applicable): Code package (if applicable):
Currently if Marketo users are set to expire on a given date (say, quarterly), you have to go in and modify each individual user profile to set a new expiration date. I would like to be able to bulk change the date, so that for my active users I could change them all at once instead of having to modify dozens of individual profiles. The ability to add or remove roles from a profile would also be a nice upgrade, but isn't as pressing since roles do not change as often as expiration dates.
Request for Feature Enhancement (RFE) Summary: Setting to not allow a specific role to change Project Status but still own the project Use-case: We would like to force Project Managers to use a request to change the Project Status from Planning>Current and vice versa as well as the same for putting a project On Hold. Due to SAP integrations, we cannot use the Status: Planning Pending that is native to the project as it disrupts the flow of project costs and other valuable data going to/from SAP. Current/Experienced Behavior: PM can change the Project Status Improved/Expected Behavior: The PM could no longer change the Project Status, but would rather use a Request workflow for approvals and subsequent changes to project status by the Project Sponsor. It's possible to view the size of the "last cast" in an engagement program, and the expected size of the next "cast" of every other type of campaign or email send. Would be very nice to see the expected size of each "next cast."
I would like to see a marriage of the Resource Planner and the Workload Balancer. I like that the Resource Planner allows users to filer by Job Role amongst other options instead of just Team. I also like that you can see more than just Planned Hours in the Planner. That said, the Workload Balancer has a much better UI and I like that capacity can be viewed by Day instead of just by Week. A combination of these two tools would be ideal.
Description - Add the option to tag a Portfolio and Program to a request/issue. Why is this feature important to you - We have multiple COE teams utilizing Workfront to manage requests/work which all ultimately align to a campaign, event or standard program, while other COE teams utilize projects and tag their projects to the relevant campaign/event/program, Program in Workfront. How would you like the feature to work - Add the ability to tag these 2 fields in the issue > overview form.Current Behaviour - No options currently exist.
Description - We would like the option to hide the system created hour types so that they can not be added to timesheets. Right now, time off is broken out into vacation time and sick time. We do not use Workfront as a time off tracking tool and would prefer admins not have the option to add these to timesheets. Why is this feature important to you - Workfront is not our system of record for tracking time not at work. We'd like the option to hide these so group admins can't access them. How would you like the feature to work - Same as the ability to hide other hour types. Current Behaviour - No options to edit/change/hide default hour types.
There is no way right now, even in text mode (that I'm aware of) to add a column for approver and proof/document URL to a Document Version report. These options are both in a Proof Approval report, please enable for a version report. I have built a report to show trends of how many rounds/versions our Proofs are going in order to give light on proofs with high # of rounds and I want to easily see if there is a correlation between number of rounds and certain approvers/worst offenders. I also want to be able to go straight to the proof from the report, not just pull in the proof/document name and then search for it separately in WF. Odd to me that some info is possible in a Proof Approval report but not a Document Version report. Help!
Description -I wish there was the option to modify what columns show up in the "Requests" section. Same as all the other screens, being able to modify the columns and groupings would be helpful in organizing information.
Its not ideal for us when we clone our salesforce PROD, the newly created sandbox will still have MSI config pointing to Marketo PROD API. We have business need of having multiple full-instance cloned from PROD and unlike any other managed package, MSI keeps the configuration unchanged and we are experiencing same user is being tracked as usage from different OrgID, resulting going over limit of seats/licenses we purchased. Any other managed package would not require any additional steps and ideally, MSI should also reset or update in a way that we are not charged for same user from different orgID. If we have to test in UAT, we can always update the config to point to UAT vs PROD depending on need and this is how almost all managed packages in salesforce works. Thoughts?
It would be nice to be able to add people to groups in Marketo Sales Insight Actions by sorting by state or territory. Our sales team would love this feature instead of having to search and add a person to a group one by one.
Why? Debugging and doing validation with Charles Proxy is time consuming and exposes a security risk by embedding the certificate in the builds. How would you like the feature to work - Possibly a developer companion app that can read deep links produced through AEP Assurance and launch the Android TV or Apple TV with the deeplink configured through AEP Assurance. This will dramatically increase the time for validation and development as we will need to rely either on Charles or on post-processed events in Analytics that typically sees a delay of 30 minutes before we can check the data generated.
Description - URLs are the internet's way to uniquely identifying pages on websites. In many analytics tools, URLs are displayed alongside performance metrics to illustrate the performance of a certain page. And while CJA and AA encourage us to use a human-readable page name instead of the URL as identifier, many stakeholders prefer a plain list of URLs to analyse performance. By having direct access to the URL, stakeholders can simply copy it to the browser's address bar to quickly find out what page is behind the URL. This is a completely legitimate approach, and I think we can make it easier to follow by allowing URLs to be clickable in CJA. Today, users have to copy the dimension item manually, which (in an attempt to be helpful) will also copy that URL's metrics into the search bar, requiring manual work or a detour to Google because of the malformed format: Why is this feature important to you - To allow users to quickly and easily find out which page is behind a URL or which referring URL is bringing them traffic. How would you like the feature to work - In a Freeform table (or maybe even other visualizations?) we could allow URL-typed fields to be clickable. Clicking a URL would open the link in a new tab. It would render something like this in the table: To allow the URL to be clickable, we would have the option in the Data View settings to turn a field into a clickable link. Ideally, we would also be able to restrict the clickable links to certain domains, so we don't bait users into clicking fishy links. In an even more advanced version, maybe hovering over a link would display a little preview of the page, so users don't even have to leave Workspace to see the page. Current Behaviour - A lot of internal URLs accidentally submitted to Google search
