I want to be able to capture via a calculated field when custom text field has been changed. Current option is to look at the update feeds Update feeds captures thru Audit Text when a field change is reported in the update feed showing the before and after. Extracting thru text mode the Audit Text Entry date and making know which custom form field you are looking for and its corresponding entry date is nearly impossible.
Based on documentation and the community thread, it doesn't sound like there's currently a way for users to receive an email notification when a task without a predecessor is ready to start. We currently have users who miss the due date for the first task on a timeline since there is no email notification tied to that task without a predecessor. We have notifications for when a project becomes active turned off since this is triggered whenever the PM team places a project from planning to active, which is frequent.
As a Workfront user I want to be able to see the European date format when selecting the English (UK) language browser setting with the given format "mm.dd.yyyy" for all date entries.
Description -Why is this feature important to you - once we change data elements name in future, wherever we called in rules, it won't change. So we manually need to change data element name into rulesHow would you like the feature to work - whenever data element name getting changed, then it should automatically change inside wherever called in rulesCurrent Behaviour - not changing data element name in rules
Description - need preview option in publishing rulesWhy is this feature important to you - before we publishing all rules. We need to check how codes are working fine when hits preview button. It is better to avoid creating version in publishHow would you like the feature to work - need preview mode to check implemented codesCurrent Behaviour - no preview mode to create code effective
Description -Why is this feature important to you - many customers are asking how some Data Feed columns are mapped to Workspace DimensionsHow would you like the feature to work - example of such mappingWorkspace DimensionData Feed ColumnServeruser_server Current Behaviour - currently, customers have to second guess what the mapping is in some cases
As an Admin there should be a way to delete a Field out of the Org--not just hide it, but delete it so the Org Admin users no longer see something that should not be there in the first place. Of course all records should have a NULL value in that field before it's removed, but as a Admin user if something was created on accident currently there has to be a way allowing it to go away completely. Even when fields are Hidden, if you search for Keywords those fields still show up in search and you shouldn't have to live with it forever.
A general theme for my team is that time tracking is too complicated. Because users have so many tasks, their timesheets are too big. Sure we could reduce the number of tasks, but teams like the list of work items but shouldn't have to put 15 minutes to each sub task. The idea would be to select the tasks or parent tasks to show on the timesheet.Time tracking at the project level is too high, while the task level is too low. If we could log time at the parent task level or task level if no parent exists, then it would greatly simply time entry. An alternative is update the timesheet view to show the Parent Task above tasks, then allow for hiding the children tasks. Then people would just see and track time to the parent tasks.
Users would like the ability to add specific request queues to their favorites list. This could function in a similar way as the project template favorite update.
Apologies if this idea was already voiced, but I didn't see anything for it with my search. Not sure if this functionality is even possible, but I figured I would try to share. My team and I are interested in a real-time chat feature for Workfront Proof. We already have real-time insight as to who is in the proof displaying initials at the top right, but it would be great to be able to click on their circle to send them a quick note or question. Tagging a user isn't always necessary, and it creates tons of extra emails and notifications. Having the extra functionality to collaborate "on the fly", rather than having to switch applications to find them in our chat app, would definitely increase productivity.
Would be great if access level and home group were part of the audit log data so we can compare how the logins are going by the different license types.
Allow updates/comments on projects, programs & requests to be sorted (by date, by user, by thread which is the current approach). Often users just want to see the most recent comments on a project. If folks are replying to an older thread, then the person cannot easily find the most recent updates.
We generate reports sometimes with a ton of data, and not being to increase the default view to beyond 2000 rows is a hindrance. Yes, people can click 'see more' and scroll to more pages, but for leadership reports non-savvy users don't always see the ability to do this and think the 2000 rows they see is the whole report. Even for seasoned users, we want to see everything or at least increase to 5000 for usability.

We have custom forms attached to documents. While I can print custom forms attached to the project, and print the document and related information, there's no way to print the document summary and include the fields from the custom form. In our situation, the documents and the custom form are mandatory in the approval process and sign off. We will need to print the two in the same PDF file, along with the approval and other information. This is required for auditing purposes.
