I am in the process of building out our landing page templates and have not gone live with any. Some templates in use have a lot of sections removed, and I am worried that the page won't extend to fill the screen (meaning the footer will be half way up).   Is this going to happen? If so, how do I make sure the footer actually gets to the bottom of the page?   See example template.

Hi Everyone! I am working on setting up some simple scoring in Marketo for campaign engagement for Marketo Sales Insights. I downloaded some program templates to get an idea of what to do for scoring. In the templates, I see they are referencing a merge tag in the "change score" flow step: share.getcloudapp.com/9ZuBe4bN. Does anyone know what this does? My thinking was I would just have flow step that says change score like this: share.getcloudapp.com/o0umNLyQ.   Thanks in advance!

Hey all,I am having issues integrating Marketo Sales Insights into Salesforce. I am attempting to install this within a sandbox environment, not our live instance. I've scoured the discussion boards for documentation (which I followed for our Enterprise Salesforce instance) and troubleshooting documentation.The Issue: Upon installing the MSI package following the Salesforce Enterprise installation options, I am getting the following error after configuring all of the page layouts (Lead, Contact, Account, and Opportunity): Required fields are not configured in Salesforce.Priority (Lead)Relative Score (Lead)Relative Urgency (Lead)Priority (Contact)Relative Score (Contact)Relative Urgency (Contact)What the problem is: So this doesn't seem to be an issue that is out of the ordinary, as a lot of the troubleshooting documentation has solutions for this seemingly simple issue. Apologies if there's already a few threads on this, but I just wanted to see what other folks have found works best when configuring your forms to re-subscribe/opt people back in that have previously unsubscribed. I know some documentation says just add the Unsubscribed field to each form, hide it and set it to "No" -- but I wasn't sure if it made more sense to just set a universal trigger campaign for any form fill (minus unsubscribe) to accomplish the same?

Hey everyone   The Zoom integration is set up and is working well. However, we are seeing a reasonably high (10% or so) number of "registration errors". What happens is....   1. Program status changes to Webinar - Registered in Marketo. 2. Zoom receives this information via the integration, and pings back a registration error. 3. Marketo changes program status to "registration error."   There is no additional information I can see about this error....as in, why it failed. First Name, Last Name, and Email are all valid fields, so I'm not sure what else could cause it to error out. I can create a program to watch for these errors, and try to register again, but that doesn't seem to fix it. They still come back with the same status from Zoom.   Any ideas?

Hi Everyone - hoping someone with more Marketo expertise can help me better understand how to use custom object triggers to send emails to our customers.  I'm relatively new to Marketo myself and have never used custom object before.  Here is the situation:  We will be pushing product data nightly into Marketo using Census (API).  Our customers can create & host virtual events in our product and our marketing team wants to send a recap email to the person who is hosting each event after those events happen.  We will be syncing in "event created date", "host email", and "event date" as part of the details on the custom object. Each lead or person can create and host multiple events on the same day and should receive 1 email for each event that they have including recap/analysis. (data will be on custom object)  So if a person had 5 virtual events yesterday, they should receive 5 separate recap/analysis emails - one for each event.  I've read over

when looking at the api   https://developers.marketo.com/javascript-api/forms/api-reference/#:~:text=.submit()   there does not seem to be a way to fail?   I probably have  a way to fail safely before as I run a catpcha verification before submission, so if that fails, I just reopen the form.   use case is that I prevent double submission of forms by disabling the submit after a user submits. Now if connection drops, or connection is bad, and believe there is bad routers / isp spotty internetz submission can fail, but now the users cannot resubmit even if getting internet again.   as said I can work around it probably via the catpcha verification... just asking  

We have some leads with non-standardised state fields that are attempting a sync from Marketo to SFDC using the Sync Lead to SFDC action. When this happens, we get the following error before syncing fails:"Failed: FIELD_INTEGRITY_EXCEPTION: There's a problem with this state, even though it may appear correct. Please select a state from the list of valid states.: State/Province"I'm thinking for a quick solution we could just disable the State picklists in SFDC, so they are just a string. My worry is that Marketo will still try to sync to a picklist type and therefore fail. Has anybody done this and can advise? Or any suggestions on a better way to tackle the issue?Any discussion is welcomed! :)

Hey Team,   I'm using a Smart Campaign to send 900 emails and my Smart List is looking people inside a list. The Smart Campaign has started but it seems it is stuck. The Results Tab is displaying the total amount of contacts but saying 'Send Email'. Its been 40 minutes. Is there a way to cancel it? Marketo Service seems to be running normally.   Thanks!

Hello,   We have a lead nurture Smart Campaign set up where if someone submits a form on our website they get enrolled. The problem is people submit the form multiple times with the same email address. Each time they submit the form a different record is created in SFDC and Marketo. Each of these contacts will get enrolled into the Smart Campaign because they have different Marketo IDs but the same email address.   Is there a way for me to have records with the same email address removed from the flow? Or deduped/merged so that they would only enroll in this campaign once?   Thanks, Jim

I am currently trying to update the lead score on a group of contacts from SFDC and while I am successful in doing this from a dataload, when Marketo and SFDC sync for the first time after the change the old value is brought back by Marketo.    Is it possible to push these updates from SFDC or can they only be made from Marketo?   

    I am currently working on a project where I am calling a webhook to push data to a tool for validation.  Recently, we ran into an issue where a list import qualified for this campaign which triggered over 40,000 webhook calls at once which caused processing errors in Marketo.    Does anyone know how you can limit the number of webhook calls allowed to be triggered in the smart campaign or in the webhook itself? I know you can limit smart campaigns at the admin level, but is there a way to do it at a local smart campaign level?    Thank you! 

I want to set up an experiment where 50% of the welcome emails go out immediately (it's a triggered email by an API call), and the rest go out 30 minutes later. Please take a look at the flow steps. Is this correct? My concern is that those who received the welcome email immediately will also receive it 30 minutes later.

We've recently implemented a new Wordpress site and we'd like to add a few Inline Ads to some pages. We're not able to preview any inline ads we build through Marketo on the website. They are also not showing up when we launch them on our pages, but we do get impressions as if the ad has been seen. We've all the usual troubleshooting (refreshing, logging out, incognito windows) to and see the ad, but no luck.   Does Marketo not play nice with Wordpress? Are there specifications to the zone-id's that we don't realize?   Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

Hello Marketo Nation! I've tried searching Marketo Docs and Marketo Nation for advice on this piece, but I haven't found anything yet. My organization is approaching its database person limit. We do not yet have a formal lead purging protocol, but we are a nonprofit that is interested in purging inactive leads in advance of needing to pay for an additional 10,000 contacts. We have approximately 4,000 contacts that are invalid, unsubscribed, and another few thousand that have been inactive for over 6 months.    Does anyone have experience crafting a lead purging policy? Do you have an example or tips to share? I know that fully purging a lead also purges their activity log and subscription preferences. What advice do you have to address these notes? Hey all,    We currently have a support alert process in place which needs to be slicker. What we want to do is trigger support communications to our customer base if one of our products has a P1 or 2 issue. At the moment we have built a series of campaigns in SFDC that houses all of the support contacts for each product and then depending on a change in the campaign we will trigger the specific email.    Originally we wanted to put a tick box on the actual SFDC campaign "trigger support email" if it goes to true Marketo see's it and launches the email however as Marketo cannot see the campaign object this has not been possible. I dont want to put anything on the contact record as it will mean someone needs to find the contact and it becomes complex. One way we have discussed is to change the member status of any record in the SFDC campaign and then have a smart campaign update all the members in the campaign to the same status e.g. "send support comms" once this is
