Hi everyone, I thought I would reach out to the community to see if anyone else is having similar issues. We discovered a bug with the Marketo Form not submitting for some users. At first we thought it was a one off case but it started occurring for dozens of individuals for the last 3 months. Marketo Support is aware of the issue and they said they released a patch to solve this issue. However we sent out a promo email for a webinar yesterday and received over 20 emails letting us know the form is not working.Basically what happens is when individuals fill out the form and submit, it does not complete the action and gets stuck on the "Waiting" label (which is Please Wait). See the below image for an example.

Now that Program Member Custom Fields are available, curious to learn how folks are utilizing these fields. Here at Blackbaud we have moved away from Channel level scoring to utilizing the new Program Member Custom Fields. The flexibility and simplicity are really working for us. Anyone else doing this? 

Hey everyone,   I'm seeking an equivalent of Eloqua's redirect links. This is a phenomenal feature of Eloqua, where if you have an incorrect link go out in an email, you have a backend way of fixing it.  This can really reduce risk.  What it does is allows you to create a redirect link that has an ID, and if that link changes or breaks, you can update it on the backend and all is fixed.  The email reflects the change.   Is there any plugin on Launchpoint or platform that does this? Feels like a really nice feature that is missing.

Hi all,    Our org is currently scoring leads for eclipsing a min number of web page visits within a 1 day time period. What I would ideally like to do is assign a program success when this happens so that this activity is factored into our multi-touch attribution model. Due to our strategy, we are reducing the amount of gated content across our website for a more frictionless experience, so this type of scoring is important for us.   However, the challenge arises when I begin to think about how to accurately assign a program success (for multiple web page visits) by channel.   For example, if someone visits our website via the paid search channel, their first url querystring will contain a utm-medium value of "ppc" but all of the subsequent page url's they visit in the same session won't have that value. Therefore, if I were to include a querystring constraint on the same trigger that's looking for 10 page visits within 1 day, it wouldn't work because 10 pages aren

Can Marketo automatically create an email and distribute the email-based upon when content is published on our website if we set up some trigger campaign in Marketo?

Hello,   When I have longer headings in my email like:   <h1>Heading line Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry.</h1>   the Editor(editor only, when I click Save everything is fine) shows the text like this:   It looks like the line-height is small and the text is overlapping. I tried to add this CSS in the email template, but it didn't work.   body.mce-content-body { line-height: normal !important; }   Is there a way to fix this?   Thanks.

Marketo Measure (fka Bizible) has a collection of fields on the Buyer Touchpoint & Buyer Attribution Touchpoint (BAT) Objects that can be populated in different ways depending on where the Touchpoint is coming from (think Marketo Measure JavaScript or maybe CRM Campaign). Dear all,  I am struggeling with the following situation / scenario:   I'd like to setup a program where users can download a PDF on my website by filling out a form. But before they get the download link by email, I would like approve/disapprove them.  1) User fills out the form on my website (name, emailadress, phone) 2) Sales owner get an alert email with prospect information and two buttons: approve or disapprove 3) After approval through the sales owner the prospect get the email that includes the download link   I created the custom field "lead.datadownload". If this field stores the value "true" the user can receive the email with the download link.    Where I am struggling right now: If you click the "approve" button/link in the alert email how can I you update the custom field "lead.datadownload" of the prospect?       Many thanks in advance for any hints! have a nice day

In our Marketo instance, one custom activity table is created in past one month. Now, business requirement is to export the bulk activity record and create dashboard while using in Power BI tool.  I have exported the custom activity id (for example 10000) using bulk activity REST API method. https://developers.marketo.com/rest-api/bulk-extract/bulk-activity-extract/  But, I am not able to reference the primaryAttributeValueId in the activity file. In my case, this is not program id and campaign id is also null.  I was wondering what value does it refer primaryAttributeValueId

Good afternoon all. I've hunted around and have yet to find a great worked example of how to handle a situation where I have multiple sessions for an event, and want to control the number of attendees per session.   In simple terms, I have x sessions each that can have y attendees.  y might not be the same for each session.   I'd like to have a form that has a drop down with each available session, and a label along the lines of "I'd like to attend the:" with each available session.   Once y people have registered for a given session x then I'd like session x to no longer appear in the list of available sessions.   I'm reasonably comfortable (I think) with the idea of dynamically populating the field with values.  Its the conditional management of the counter (and persisting it) incrementing it based on each form submit.   the volumes aren't so critical that I need be concerned about a session having one slot left and two

Hi all.  I've got a weird situation.     We have a Facebook page with a Facebook lead form on it.  This form has generated records in Marketo when used in testing (via https://developers.facebook.com/tools/lead-ads-testing).     I have admin access to the FB page in question and have authenticated the account in Marketo (in Launchpoint).    After all of that, I am not getting records showing up when the forms are live.  I've not seen this before.  Any pointers on what the problem is likely to be?   Cheers Jo

Does anyone know a workaround for transactional emails recording opens per send? I was told by Marketo that it will only record email sent and delivered on transactional emails but for opens/clicks it only records one time per unique record. We send out a lot of transactional emails with the sent/delivered being recorded to one record in marketo that keeps track, we are trying to get opens recorded as well but apparently it limits to one per email asset.   Many Thanks!   AH

We currently have Marketo integrated with Dynamics for the US. We would have Workspaces and Partitions for other regions (Europe, Asia, and more) and they have other CRM systems. We are looking at the possibility of integrating these CRMs with Marketo via API. Is this an option? Are there any docs on how to implement the API integration?  Any insights would be much appreciated.  

Hi  Our Salesforce administrator is asking why Marketo needs the all the below in the Marketo permissions and saying this is just how the sync is built and Marketo can not do all of the below is not enough. Can people point to any articles on this subject please. When a record is sent from CRM the company record is Read Only in Marketo.  When a record is created in Marketo the fields are Read/Write.  What can we do to make the records Read/Write when they come from the CRM Integration?

We recently just set up the Wistia integration. How are other users utilizing video? Does it make sense to create a program type for videos or is that overkill?

We have been occasionally seeing some bizarre occurrences of people submitting our forms and their date of birth somehow getting confused, then rejected by Salesforce during sync. Here is an example:  Form Submission original data, notice the value "-61990768800" which i take it is epoch format.    When the lead tried to sync, it failed with this error: "{FIELD_INTEGRITY_EXCEPTION: Date of Birth: invalid date: Thu Aug 06 00:00:00 GMT 5}"   The only way I have found to fix this sync error is to delete the date (which displays correctly in Marketo's interface as 4th of August 2005, or at least this is a DoB that makes sense to our business) and use the date picker to put it in again.    While doing that, notice what the old stored value was: "0005-08-04"   When I input the value again using the date picker, this is what it looks like: "2005-08-04"   It seems like the year gets stored incorrectly, but somehow displays well on the interface.&nbs

Hello there, I'm struggling to try to update an email body with the POST {id}/fullContent.json endpoint.   I'm using what is written here: https://developers.marketo.com/rest-api/assets/emails/#replace_html and https://developers.marketo.com/rest-api/endpoint-reference/asset-endpoint-reference/#!/Emails/createEmailFullContentUsingPOST; but there is a little misleading process: what I have to use? A classic text/html boundary text in the POST body, or a JSON encoded parameter? I've tried many different possibilities (like the following example, or the JSON parameter, and so on), but every time, the endpoint returns "content cannot be null" error.   Where I'm doing wrong?   For example, I've something like that, where XXX is my mail ID - I will avoid all the other parameters: CURLOPT_URL => 'https://063-XUP-724.mktorest.com/rest/asset/v1/email/XXX/fullContent.json',CURLOPT_POST => 1,CURLOPT_HTTPHEADER => array('Content-Type: multipart/fo

Hi All,   I have a situation where I want to run filter before triggers in Smart Campaigns. In one smart campaigns, there are some 20 triggers on Person fields update. So when there is an update on the Person record, these triggers kicks in and execute the flow. Now when there is a list import, all these triggers are executing for huge number of records which is causing delays in Marketo system. I want to de couple the list import updates from normal updates. Is there a way through which I separate the updates of list import and execute the Smart Campaign only if updates are not coming from List Import. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hey everyone,Odd scenario here - we have a process in Salesforce (merge lead with existing contact and convert using a tool called ZaapIT) that is triggered by a field being set to "TRUE" on our lead objects.I set up a simple Smart Campaign in Marketo that sets the value to "TRUE" on a triggered basis (all works great), and that info pushes to Salesforce just fine every 5 mins. However, the SFDC process does not run. Interestingly, if I open up a lead's page in Marketo and check the box manually, the info gets pushed to Salesforce, and my SFDC process DOES run.   Any ideas how to get around this? In both scenarios the value is getting set to true in both Marketo and Salesforce, but for some reason if it is updated through a smart campaign it does not trigger the SFDC process.   Thanks!Travis
