Hey, I have seen other posts regarding form submission but it doesn't relate to my issue completely because I didn't include any custom codes in my embed.  I did have the honeypot, but I removed it to see if that would fix the issue but nothing. I embedded the code provided by form 2.0 and it was working just fine for a while. Recently when you hit submit, it says please wait for a split second and then goes back to submit. Hi!    Former Eloqua user here. I'm working on trying to navigate through dynamic content. It seems that you can only make a segment dynamic, not a link within a segment.    See, the problem is that we have 100 different links/phone numbers that we have to update in the copy. Creating 100+ different dynamic segments for each email we send is not sustainable.    I have thought about creating a program that pushes certain data into fields where I can then use a token instead of dynamic content, but my worry is that it will get messy with how many links and copy changes we have to do.    Does anyone have a good work around for this? I worked with css and html daily, and have started learning javascript so I'm against coding something. 

Hello Community!   We have a Marketo landing page for which we need to set up an URL redirect. For instance, we have the existing page's URL as pages.test.com/abc-xyz and I have been asked to exclude the string 'abc' from the URL which will result in pages.test.com/xyz If I simply remove that string from the URL, the visitors that has this existing URL will land to an error page as the URL itself is modified. Please advise on how to proceed further.   Thanks!

I want to add lead token in the thankyou page url and thank you page is created in the wordpress but when I tried to add and save it, it is not letting me do it. It says I can only add my. token with the url.Any suggestions how I can do this?

Any ideas on how to roll back the previous interesting moment for a campaign i accidentally ran against large group of folks

I am trying to reverse a bunch of records that I had erroneously go through a campaign with the incorrect logic (ANY vs AND... ugh).  In any event, I need to start with the low hanging fruit and change a bunch of records that went from NULL to a specific value.  I see in the log for my smart campaign, that there were numerous instances of this and yet, when I try to put in the following logic: Data Value Changed Attribute ___Attribute1 Previous Value____NULL New Value____Value 1 Date of Activity between 12/18/2020 and 12/19/2020 I continue to get no qualified results, but if I try a specific value to and from, I get qualified results.  I went so far as to also try null, [null] and blank doesn't work, as we all know, so I am stuck.  Any ideas? 

Hi Marketo Community! I'm hoping someone has an answer for me. I have a nurture campaign running (it was a complicated set-up, so I don't want to mess with it) and I need to update the emails to have relevant content for the new year.   I'm just editing the content of the emails, with the goal of having the new emails go out on Jan. 1.  Since the current campaign is already running, would I be able to edit the emails, and then not actually approve them until Jan 1?  So if I edited them today, but didn't click "approve", would the current version continue running in the campaign, until I go in and approve the emails on Jan. 1?   I'm trying to get as much done in advance, but don't want to mess with my campaign if it won't be sending during that time.   Thanks in advance for the help!

Hello,   I believe there is problem happening now on the Smart List related to the form. The list of contacts whom had previously submitted the form is not showing on my smartlist. I am unsure if the rest of the users are having the same issue. Please check.   Thank you, YX

Last updated on April 19th, 2024   I'm on my 2nd Marketo Engage implementation from scratch, and although many in the Marketing Nation Community have implemented Marketo Engage many more times than this (along with many tips) I wanted to share five that I think will make a real difference to our instance moving forward.  Not claiming any original thoughts here! I have an email template I want to use to send out a weekly report of people who've filled out a form. I created a Smart List for this, but I want it to be automatically sent in a nice email format. Is there email scripting that can do this?

What does the extra slash at the end of these original referrer URLs mean? Our fear is that directory or URL parameters are getting dropped in some cases.   Can you shed some light on this for me?  

Our web designer tried to split the same JS code but it is supporting either desktop or mobile. I just got an email from our old CRM provider about how they were working to mitigate the impact of the Google outage from earlier this week (December 14th and 15th) - mainly about how the mass bounces could impact reputation, future deliverability, and email validation within the platform.   Should I be worried about the potential impact of soft or hard bounces resulting from this event?

Hi,    We have been doing some reporting and have noticed that we've had a high proportion of people 3,000k plus who have opened 11 of our emails but not clicked on any single one. I am doing some research into email best practice to see if we are missing something. But I'm also researching into if there's a different reason we have a high proportion of people opening but not clicking (if it was just one email I'd understand but opening 11 emails and not clicking on any is a bit baffling).    We suspect maybe those people's email servers may be blocking our tracking, or perhaps they're email providers are opening the emails for them. We're not sure really hence the research. I just wondered if anyone else came across this problem before and found any answers? Or could guide me to where might have answers?   Thank you,    Katie

Looking on the forum it appears this has been reported before but I don't see a solution. Basically when I upload images to Design Studio they all show up as broken links. That means I also can't preview my designs to ensure the layout is correct because I get the broken link icon. If I paste the URL directly into the browser it is fine and if I email myself a sample it works. What am I missing here? Am am uploading the images incorrectly or referencing them incorrectly or something?  More oddly, if I preview using 'Segmentation' I will see the image but if I preview using 'Person' I don't.

Hello,   I have a list of team members which I use for sending every email, as a part of our team process. Last 2 times when I was sending emails just one person from that list received email, the rest 6 of them didn't, and when I try to pull out the list it shows them as was not delivered email to. Does this has to do with the fact that they have the same domain? I believe that shouldn't be the issue since it's small number of people, is there a way to see the reason to why they aren't receiving those emails, because they did receive emails before that last 2? Hi there,   We are having issues with our new landing page we created in Marketo. Oddly we used the same Javascript in the past on other pages and it worked. But for some reason this time it is not. Code line 142 to 214 is where we put all the form embed and javascript.   (Original page removed) Solution = Missing jQuery library that was not attached.   Anyone ever this type of issue?   Regards    

Hi, I wanted to know if I could send the same email twice using different smart campaigns. The email is an asset of a program, it is not in an email program. We sent an email on the wrong day but wanted to send it on the correct date, so we cloned the incorrect program and scheduled it for the correct date. Does this work, or would I need to create a new email as well?

I have inherited a Marketo instance that has a large number of Marketo only persons - meaning they do not exist in Salesforce and SFDC type = is empty.   From my initial inspection, it appears most of these Persons were imported via list uploads for various programs so that we could use Marketo to send communication to customers who do not exist in SFDC and were being pulled from outside data sources.    My question is around deleting their person records from Marketo.    Is it best practice to remove these persons from Marketo as they do not exist in SFDC anyway? Would love to hear everyone's thoughts.
