Marketo

Our Marketo instance is synced with SFDC. That being said on one of our forms we have a comments area. The token to display these comments on internal alerts is {{lead.Request Comments}}. Now I would like to sync those comments as well to a custom salesforce field we created. The field is Form Comments (L). I added this step to our current smart campaign of whenever a lead fills out a form: However, when I go look at the Salesforce Field, nothing populates. What am I doing wrong ? 

Hello, I'm fairly new to Marketo and to this instance, and learning as I go... would really appreciate any insight you might have! Context: We're trying to clean our database as we're running out of space in Marketo, but want to keep the records that we have in Salesforce. In a mentor session, we figured out that the solution was to stop syncing certain leads from SFDC to Marketo--people who have unsubscribed (as we can't email them currently), certain industries and job titles, etc. We created a checkbox field in the lead and contact objects in SFDC, to indicate to the integration that SFDC should stop pushing those records to Marketo. We then built a smart list + flow to delete those leads from Marketo, thus freeing up space in the Marketo database. Problem:We test-deleted a few leads from Marketo, but we found out that if any of the people we delete try to re-subscribe (ie, fill out a form), Marketo will make a new record, but SFDC will reject the new data as a d

Our CRM to Markto mapping is as follows:Account : CompanyContact: LeadInvestment : Investment In CRM, a contact is linked to an account. Investments are also linked to an account. I have created a custom object 'Investment' which is linked to Company, but cannot find any way to view the Investment record. It also does not seem possible to view a list of Company records. What is the point in having any objects except lead if you are only able to see the lead table and the rest of the database is not relational? How can I view any custom objects that are part of a one-to-many relationship with company?

Hello,I've been trying to clean up our database, looking through old lists and seeing which ones we can delete. However, I've been running into an issue and was wondering if anyone has experienced something similar. When I click on a list/smart list, and go to the "Used By" tab, I'll see something like this:However, when I try to click on an email program/smart campaign, sometimes I can't get it to load at all. It'll take me to Marketing Activities but never finishes loading. I've tried to search for the name as well but that turns up empty. The strange thing is, with other programs/campaigns, it'll load just fine. The ones that refuse to load seem to be consistent enough that I suspect it's not just a slow connection. I'll came back days later and those same programs/campaigns will still refuse to load. Does anybody have insights on what could be going on? Do deleted programs ever stay on the "Used By" tab and that's why I can't get some to load?

I'm basing a program on this imported template: BP-NUR Advanced Drip Nurture v3 Inside each of the nested programs is a smart campaign called "00 - Skip Email", which I'm guessing is a way to prevent users who have already downloaded that content from receiving an email about said content and move them on to the next cast: However, the only action in the flow is to Change Program Status to "Nurture Email > Skip":  I don't see this referenced anywhere in the actual "01 - Send Email" criteria or in the flow to prevent people with this status from being sent the email: Am I correct in assuming that this initial program that simply changes the status is as useless as Radioctive Man's goggles without any filter in the flow or smart list in the actual send program?  Thanks in advance for any advice. -Sam      

Hello community,  We are checking the viability of the following scenario:  A user visits a landing page (Nº1) created via Marketo or that has the Marketo munchkin code. After this visit we want to show to this same anonymous user, in another website (Nº2), personalized content. Only to the users that have visited that specific landing page Nº1. I understand that this is possible via web personalization, using the "includes visit" filter to create the segment. However, in order to get the web personalization working for this anonymous user, do we need to do the user matching first? I understand that it doesn't apply to this anonymous user case, right?  If I´m correct, the matching need would only apply if we would target users via the "known profiles" filters. Thank you!

Hi all, I'm trying to work through an issue with Marketo viewing and pulling a field from a custom object in SFDC. I'm not sure it's possible to do but wanted to ask the community. Scenario:I want to send a "Buy Now" email that pulls a link from a field in a custom object within SFDC. The Custom object is associated with the Opportunity with a look up to the account. The Marketo Sync user has access to see this field - however when looking at the email script token I would need in order to pull that buy now link, I can't see the field I want to check the box. So is this even possible to do, and if not, anyone have a work around for me?

Similar to this SFDC Question: Apex CPU time limit exceeded error with Marketo Sync - Salesforce Developer Community I have a Salesforce Process that automatically changes a Contact's Owner to match the Account Owner upon Account Owner Change.This process seems to be getting tripped up by a Marketo Trigger from the Marketo Sales Insights Managed Package, but I cannot see the code behind it to troubleshoot. We need to create an internal landing page that we can provide to our telemarketing team to directly submit the status of leads that are generated.  Since a single user will be entering multiple leads, we don't want this user to be tracked/cookied.  But I don't see anywhere within our landing page templates where the Munchkin code exists (so that we can create a version without the code).  Therefore, how do we create non-trackable landing pages?

Hey Everyone, I'm looking into junction tables and custom objects to relate contacts to multiple accounts in Marketo. I've found a few posts around the community (thanks @grégoire_miche2 and @sanfordwhiteman), but want to ask a few clarifying questions. It looks like Marketo stores all account records in the database, even if no leads/contacts are associated to that account. I pulled a report in Salesforce of accounts without contacts AND without related contacts. I am able to see those company names in smart lists pre-population when I try to filter for them, it's just the list returns no records in Marketo (since no people records are tied to them). Does this mean that the account table, even for accounts without contacts or related contacts is already built? Including all of the fields on that record in Salesforce?If the answer to 1 is "yes", then wouldn't it mean I just need a junction table that ties Salesforce ContactId and AccountId to add the relationship? W

I've been asked to show progression through the model based on Sales Teams, but I see that the field that I need for that cannot be added to the Program Revenue Stage report (I confirmed this with support).  Has anyone here had to solve this? I'm thinking that I may need a separate model for each sales team, with a separate set of smart campaigns to drive people through the separate model. Right?

We have a lot of programs running with no end date but sometimes for no reason, the flow steps in the program will shut itself off. The program will still attribute and route people but the flow steps are off. We do not have any flow steps that would deactivate a flow step.

Anyone had any experience with this environment in the past? Integrating Marketo with ADW from oracle which acts as data hub, so Marketo can then trigger off campaigns following value changes in fields in ADW. Any ideas are welcome.Thanks

I've created a webinar program in Marketo that is integrated with a Zoom Webinar, but when I test it, the person that has filled out the form and has been set to registered in Marketo is not appearing as a registrant on the Zoom Webinar. I have it set up so that I have to manually approve registration in Zoom, but I'm not sure that it's related. Does anyone know of a solution?

Has anybody else noticed ongoing server issues at Marketo over the past 3-4 months (maybe longer)? I have been using Marketo for over four years. Until relatively recently, I have never noticed significant performance delays due to apparent server issues at Marketo. We use Marketo form landing pages within a "parent" i-frames. Usually the forms populate instantly. However, I have periodically noticed delays of more than 10 seconds during periods of "slow server" time. Am I alone in noticing these issues? If not, is Marketo doing anything about them?

PLEASE HELP!I am brand new to Marketo.I am trying to create a submission form that can house numerous submissions on one page.So for example...We have a DSR recognition program. A seller has the opportunity to pick from 4 different prize packages for DSRs.Depending on the package, there are certain number of DSRs associated.So... small package would be for $50/pp and would get 12 nominations... meaning 12 slots to put people's names/emails.For the medium package, it would be $75/pp and would get 9 nominations. Is there a way to create basically a survey then execute a form based on the response? Or is it easier to just create a form that has up to 12 lines or a total of 36 (need first name, last name and email)?
