Is caching on author AEM cloud supported? I am working on migration from AEM 6.5 AMS to AEM Cloud. Currently, working on making the dispatcher changes cloud compatible. I am following the below link: https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/experience-manager-cloud-service/content/implementing/content-delivery/ams-aem.html?lang=en# In the above article it says "Rename PUBLISH_DOCROOT to DOCROOT". Also, it says get rid of all the non-publish vhosts which makes me wonder if dispatcher caching is supported on author AEM Cloud?

Hello All,We have a requirement to send the AEM Cloud service version to other system. I was trying to find a solution for this.Currently we configure in code and send. Do we have any API which gives us this .Basically i am looking at the below info in my Model ThanksArun
We are in the process upgrading AEM 6.5.12 to 6.5.19. After installing service pack 19, in our code, request.getAttribute("javax.servlet.include.query_string") commands return null instead of query string information. It seems that all the javax.servlet.RequestDispatcher 's javax.servlet.include.* constants are now missing from the request. I have looked through the service pack release notes (13-19) and found nothing about changes to the request or to javax.servlet. Does anyone have any idea how or way this would change and what kind of remedy is available, either to get it back or some kind of work around?

Hello everyone ! I'm facing a problem with AEM persistent queries and the variables used in those. The problem is that i use a variable in a filter that look like this : filter: { brand: { _logOp: OR, _expressions: $brands } } The variables brands is declared as "[StringFilterExpression]!". So now if a want to use my persistent query, i use Postman and i do a POST request on : publish-[...].adobeaemcloud.com/graphql/execute.json/id/getByBrands and i send this in the body (in application/json) : { "variables": { "brands": [{"value": "mybrand"}] } } But I get this response from AEM : "message": "Variable 'brands' has an invalid value: Variable 'brands' has coerced Null value for NonNull type '[StringFilterExpression]!'" I already tried with other variables types, like a variable for the limit property, whe

We’ve had the ping of death. The zip bomb. Now meet the Extinction Level Email™: an otherwise simple email that slows Outlook for Windows to a crawl just by being in the Inbox, even if it’s not being viewed! First, kudos to a client for patiently proving the symptoms were real, despite our skepticism. And thanks to the spirits that led another agency to create the offending template, allowing us to get credit for debugging but none of the blame.😊 The client was eager for a rebrand, having finally bought a domain from a longtime squatter. The emails were ready: ExampleNetCo is now simply Example. An agency built out a slick new template. Then everything broke loose: test emails made Outlook for Windows (both Outlook 2019 and the latest 365) slow to a crawl. Selecting messages in the Inbox was like being stuck in a glue trap. Didn’t matter whether you were looking at the rebranded emails: as long as they were in the Inbox folder, Out
How can I learn how to troubleshoot why, when trying to view a page as published, I get "Cannot serve request to the path specified". When adding this one particular component to the page and then trying to view as published, the error occurs. However, when removing the component and trying to view as published, it works as expected and there's no error. So there's something about the component causing the issue.

Hi dear Community,i hope you arrived well and healthy in 2024!I did and now getting into the next AEM challenge... i got a lot of reports about this topic:PDF-Export from InDesign files that have a lot of Assets linked to AEMaaCS.Our company did not have a great start working with AEM Assets and its connection to InDesign but the latest Asset Link update brought great relieve. Now we stumble into the next challenge. Let me tell you a bit about the situation.I am very interested to hear from your experiences about the topic. The situation:Big catalogue file. Ca. 600 assets that are all correctly linked to the AEM.Each asset is about 50MB in size, but in the InDesign file, each asset is layouted to be only as big as a passport photo. There is a FPO setting, so placing files in a document is really quick.BUTExporting a print-quality PDF takes 2 hours. In this timeframe InDesign is completely unresponsive.(For comparison, if i have the files locally - this export takes less then 8 minutes AND

Hi All,We have a usecase where we have a list of images that needs to be excluded from compression or smart imaging. These images are to be shared in original quality and size to preserve the content. Since we are using dynamic media and smart imaging capabilities DM automatically compress the image and also deliver it in webp/avif. Is there a way we can avoid this and serve the original image from DM without compression. Tried couple of things but the size and quality differs from original imagebfc=off to turn off Browser Format Conversion. dpr=off to turn off Device Pixel Ratio. network=off to turn off network bandwidth. https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/experience-manager-65/content/assets/dynamic/best-practices-for-optimizing-the-quality-of-your-images.html?lang=en All these improves the size a little bit but still shows compressed and loss in pixels Thanks,Sherin
Responsive Imaging and Dynamic Media done Right by Achim KochResponsive Imaging and Dynamic Media is more complex - and more powerful - than you think. If you have used the Dynamic Media Image component or the AEM Core Component for responsive imaging ... you are missing out on great opportunities to maximise the page performance and minimise the editing effort. In this four-part series I'll lay out the basics for dynamic imaging, smart cropping, Dynamic Media and HTML to get the most out of the latest technologies. There is some code, too 😉 Part IPart II Part IIIPart IV

Makes uploading to AEM easier, and can be used as a command line executable or required as a Node.js module by Git Abstract Background In AEM Assets 6.5 and prior, a single post request to a servlet that manges asset binaries is enough for uploading files. Newer versions of AEM can be configured to use direct binary upload, which means that asset binaries are no longer uploaded straight to AEM. Because of this there is a more complex algorithm to follow when uploading asset binaries. Due to the fact that direct binary upload is a configuration, whether or not this library can be used on a given AEM instance will vary. However, all AEM as a Cloud Service instances will have direct binary upload enabled, so this library will work with those. This tool is provided for making uploading easier, and can be used as a command line executable or required as a Node.js module.
