What is changing? Currently, Marketo Engage Forms use jQuery library version 1.x when embedded on websites. In our next release beginning on January 9th, 2024, we will be updating the jQuery library used by forms2.js to version 3.7.1. Why is this change being made? The currently used jQuery version has security vulnerabilities, is not sufficiently supported by browsers, and has reached the end of it’s supported lifecycle. jQuery 3. x offers enhanced security, better performance, smaller file sizes for faster loading on slow networks, ECMAScript 6 support, and several other advantages. What customer action is required? If your company’s website loads its own version of the jQuery library, and your website uses embedded Marketo Engage forms or forms2.js, it must be updated to support jQuery library version 3.x. When must customers make the change? Customers that load their own version of the jQuery library on their website and use embedded Marketo Engage Forms

I have a content fragment template where there is a JSON type field that holds a list of image URLs. Each entry is a named field with the URL to an image as the value. This was done due to the maximum numbers of URLs that may be checked in validation of the text fields in a content fragment that look to be a URL. What I'd like to do is reduce the size of the images JSON by selecting which field I want. The normal returned response would be something like: { "data": { "testModel": { "items": [ { "itemNumber": "369769", "description": "Some description for the fragment", "images": { "image1": "/content/dam/images/image1.jpg", "image2": "/content/dam/images/image2.jpg", "image3": "/content/dam/images/image3.jpg", "image4": "/content/dam/images/image4.jpg", "image5": "/content/dam/images/image5.jpg", "image6": "/content/dam/images/image6.jpg", "image7": "/content/dam/images/image7.jpg"

Hello dear community,I have a nut to crack that you probably have figured out already. This is the situation:If an asset gets updated with a newer version, the old file can still be found in the timeline and can be restored. Which is nice.BUT is it possible to download a previous version than the active one?I know i can restore an old version to become the active, newest version but this seems to be a strange workarround. Lets say i have a TIFF file with layers, some are misplaced. This is version 1.0.Then somebody corrects this and reduces the layers to a background layer then updates the asset - This is now version 1.1This file is now linked to a bunch of sites and also InDesign files. Then somebody else figures that additional edits have to be done with the layers from version 1.0 to have it perfect. The only way i see is, to restore 1.0, quickly download the asset, quickly restore 1.1 For a few minutes i had the wrong asset displayed on websites and the InDesign files in que

Hi, I do have a requirement where users in brand portal can upload the asset in brand portal contribution folder but i don't see the option to update the metadata field on brand Portal. in our requirement i don't want to give brand portal user access to AEM assets(licensing constraint) so what should be the ideal solution to achieve this? I don't find any adobe document for this one.
The only way I have found to view the version history of an AEM Guides DITA object is through the preview pane of the Assets > Files view. Is there a way to view this information from within the XML Editor or even the Map Dashboard? AEM Guides (UUID) v4.2 On-Prem Installation (late April/early May 2023)AEM 6.5.15 On-Prem Installation

Now the team is expecting to upgrade the Angular version from 9 to 11/13. Is it ok to upgrade the Angular version to 11/13 now? Please can anyone confirm the compatibility of the Angular version with AEM? Regards,Shyam
Hi, I'm quite new to AEM Guides/XML Documentation and I am currently trying to figure out how to get "data" elements from a DITA Map in the generated AEM Site. To clarify, the DITA Map has the following structure:<map> <title>XXX</title> <data> <image id="logo" href="GUID-123asd123.jpg" ></image> <xref format="txt" href="GUID-asd123qwe.txt" id="copyright"> </data> <topicref ... ></topicref></map> I want to use contents of "data" element in AEM Site pages, e.g.: - show the brand logo on top of each page according to the "image" tag in Map - show the copyright disclaimer in footer section of each page according to "xref" tag in Map I did some experiments with custom Design template for AEM Site preset and custom mappings between DITA elements and AEM components (elementmapping.xml), but I'm not able t
Content Preview/Review Solution in AEM/AMS by Blog posts around Oracle SOA Suite,Adobe... Abstract This tutorial explains the approach to define a preview solution for AEM(Adobe Experience Manager)/AMS(Adobe Managed Server) platform to preview the content through Author instance before activating the content to publishers. Some of the options to enable the preview options are 1. Share the author URL with wcmmode=disabled, this requires the reviewer should be on-boarded into the Author environment to carry the review 2. Enable an additional preview(publish) instance, establish the workflow to send the content to the preview server for review/approval before publishing the content to live, the reviewer can use the dedicated review URL to review the content. This approach needs an additional server license to review the content. 3. Move the content to stage servers for review, the workflow can be established to move the content to a Stage environment for review, this approach has some r
We have a sub-map that is used within several maps, and conditions are applied to topics in the sub-map. We haven't had an issue doing this with SDL's LCA, but is this allowed in AEM Guides (v4.2)? The topics in the sub-map are not properly excluding as expected for ORed conditions (e.g. a topic with props="analog ioLink" showing up in the "discrete" output when it should be excluded). (Detailed explanation included in the PDF uploaded here.) Or should I submit this as a support ticket in the Adobe Admin Console? I have run into an issue on boards. When making assignments to a card I cannot assign the same user to both the assignments and to an individual checklist item. However, when I removed the user from the card assignments I then was able to assign them to a checklist item on the same card. Not sure if this is a glitch or by design, and if so why?
Our assets are being hosted through scene7. A new ask is for a way for text content to wrap an image. I know that it's no longer recommended to use the RTE component for images but I still added the button back in an attempt to see what would happen. I noticed it's only adding assets from our DAM and not scene7.I also attempted to set up a 50/50 container and added in a Text component and a Dynamic Media component, but quickly realized that since each component were in their own container, there wasn't a way to float it so the text could wrap. Has anyone had any luck finding a way to wrap the text around the scene7/Dynamic Media asset or add a component that will allow that while keeping the benefits? Appreciate any help, thanks!
Hi i have an issue when using a custom transformer extending from DefaultTransformer .basically the requirements that i need are :being able to append text to all anchor links from a page this meaning is the anchor link its #clickme i should append to it baseUrl#clickme . I am using the AttributesImpl to handle the data and i am able to process all the links that contain an anchor. Links containing anchor will be indicate by starting with # .The problem is when updating the value , if i update the attribute using for example #clickme+baseurl and then call the supper.startElement it will generate the href tag correct but the issue is that this is wrong. The correct order needs to be baseurl+#clickme the issue is that if i append anything before the #. I try to append the full url , externalized url , vanity url , shorter url , random text before the #. It will not matter everything will break the html of the page to be specific the one that its containing t
Hi All, I have created a static site using standard AEM Site Template 2.2.0. It is working fine in desktop view but when change it to other views it's UI not responsive.I tried with this methods: Understanding Responsive Layout with AEM Sites | Adobe Experience ManagerResponsive layout for your content pages | Adobe Experience ManagerHow can we make a site responsive in all device views?.
Hello, In the Guides view, how can I generate a report or a listing of all topics in my map with columns for Version Number and Version Label? I don't have access to generating baselines as a quick way to review these attributes. In the Manage tab for a map, I see several reports. The Topic List report doesn't include these attributes, and the Metadata report has a Tags dropdown but Version Labels isn't an option. I've tried selecting the Standard Tags option but the versions don't display. Q:- Are the Version Labels used for dynamic baseline generation a different type of tag than those available within the topics? - Is there another type of report or view that non-admins have access to with this information? Thanks!
By default it looks like for AEM Site generation the meta description in the header is getting added byfmdita/components/dita/headAnd is looking for jcr:description.I expected that somewhere in the publish that shortdesc would have been set in the AEM site files as the jcr:description but that does not appear to be the case. Should that be expected behavior? The shortdesc ends up in the published node structure so we could look to pull that property instead of the default.Any pitfalls or concerns with taking that approach?
