Description - We would like the ability to set the request type at a queue topic level, to enable users to receive work as issues or tasks via the same queue. Why is this feature important to you - The queue topic asks you to define the request type, but this doesn't actually work other than just categorising it. We have queues where some users want to work in agile and therefore need work delivered as an issue. Other users receiving work want to work with tasks but even though all queue settings have been put in place, they receive work as an issue and have to manually convert it.How would you like the feature to work - Queue topic request type should an additional way to define and deliver the correct request format to a user without having to convert it. Multi-functional queues where users can work in standard or agile from the same queue, and settings can be applied to ensure they get the work in desired format. Current Behaviour - Users have to manually convert the
I would like to suggest the addition of a new functionality to record issues on the Portfolio/Program page.Currently, there are workarounds for recording Portfolio level risks/issues, but there is no direct way to register them on the same page. This could be a valuable addition for portfolio managers who want to register risks and issues that are not specific to a particular project, but rather a higher-level concern. This feature would enhance the program and portfolio management capabilities and visibility of such higher-level risks/issues.
Description - It would be great if within Launch we could apply tags to rules and data elements to categorise. We have to get creative with naming conventions to describe what a rule does and what is firing within it. If I could tag a rule with "google ads" and filter all the rules where that tag exists, I can easily edit a pixel firing on those rules. Right now, I have to write it in the name or click into every rule. Other tag managers have this simple UX feature. Why is this feature important to you - It helps us organise our implementation, and saves a lot of time. QoL function. How would you like the feature to work - Explained in the description. Current Behaviour - As above - naming conventions have to do all of the heavy lifting.
I'm referring to the functionality outlined here: Configure system updates & System-tracked updates Currently:When making changes to a Project template there is no indication in the update stream of changes made. Additionally there are no options to add template specific fields to the update stream. This means that there are very few ways to identify when and what changes were made to a project template. If a user mistakenly removes a predecessor from a task or modifies the assignments we have no way of knowing. What I would like to see:It would greatly improve project management and troubleshooting if changes made at the project template level were tracked in the update stream on the template. Additionally, it would be helpful to have the ability to add template specific fields in the update stream. This would make identifying the source of timeline related issues easier by giving some insight on when changes were made to the template. As a side note: I al
I'd love the ability to permission people/roles from seeing previous versions of a proof in Workfront Proof. For example, we start routing a proof internally and it goes through several rounds of proofing. Now it's ready for the client to see it. I'd love to send the most recent approved version to the client for review but don't want them to have access to the previous versions. They mark that up, edits are made, another couple rounds of internal review and then the approved version goes back to client. At that point they only have access to the versions of the proof they were a part of. Why is this feature important to me? This would allow us to have one document that spans the entire life of the project but would prevent clients from seeing all of the back and forth that happened to get that piece approved. To accomplish this in the current state we have to create a clean document to send over for client review. When we go that route we are left with 2 unappealing options: 1
Description - Would like to have the ability to 'sort' report data, specifically data from a field that allows for more than 1 selection so that further excel work could be streamlined. Why is this feature important to you - This is important for our budgeting system that we built in Workfront. The data captured in Workfront is exported to excel frequently and further looked at/put into pivot tables, charts, etc. How would you like the feature to work - To have an "advanced option" in that column of data to sort the data in a specific order, or even order of how the field values are displayed in the field would be great. Example: we have apple, orange, banana, peach and plum as field values. Adam selects apple and plum and his data shows as Apple, Plum. Lucy select apple, orange, banana and her data shows as Banana, Orange and Apple. While looking at Adam and Lucy's data in our report, Apple is not aligned as the first option therefore when exporting to excel it makes it more
Description -The new Workfront Filter experience sorts filters by creation date of the filter which is not helpful. The filter tool used to automatically alphabetize filters within the filter list which was much more useful. I understand that one can now drag and drop filter ordering around but this is not very useful and simply causes more work. When one has a filter list of 100 plus filters which gets used regularly (By Administrator) dragging and dropping is not an idea feature. Why is this feature important to you -It is more intuitive than the current Beta version of the new filter experience and saves time. How would you like the feature to work -I would like to see filters auto alphabetize. Drag and drop can still exist but at least alphabetize the filter from the start. Current Behavior-All new filters simply are appended to the top of the filter list
Request for Feature Enhancement (RFE) Summary: Download Button for Sites page in AEMaaCS Use-case: This product enhancement request is to be able to download an image (pdf, gif, jpeg, etc.) from the preview page of a Sites page in AEMaaCS Sites. Current/Experienced Behavior: This is a requirement for larger multi-level organizations (in this case a large Adobe retail customer), which have Third Party & VPs/Executive leadership that do not normally access or do be granted access to go into AEMaaCS to view or approve a campaign. Thus, exporting the Site page from the preview page is a critical step in the approval process. Currently, there is no built-in functionality to download an image/PDG of a Sites page in AEMaaCS Sites. Improved/Expected Behavior: The scale of which the Adobe Retail customer plans to be creating emails and other marketing materials in AEMaaCS makes it unreasonable to go through a multi-step process in order download an image of a marketing component.
Request for Feature Enhancement (RFE) Summary: The AEM Content Fragment UI should allow users to configure columns based on their preferences, making it easier to display the desired information in a more accessible format. Use-case: In the view settings menu or directly in the table results, we should be able to customize column options based on the available fields in the Content Fragments. Current/Experienced Behavior: In the settings (Customize Table), we can only select a few generic fields. Improved/Expected Behavior: Our goal is to be able to select any available fields in the Content Fragment (configurable) such as the variations, the profile owner, the profile image, the title, the description, the social media profiles, the country, the city, the job type, and the skills. We want to display the selected fields in separate columns according to our preferences. Environment Details (AEM version/service pack, any other specifics if applicable): AEM as a Cloud Service
Zusammenfassung der Funktionsverbesserungsanfrage (RFE): Make Managed Publication working for Content Fragments as it is working already for AEM Sites for References. Anwendungsfall: Managed Publication for Content Fragments Aktuelles/erlebtes Verhalten: References can't be controlled in a meaningful way for Content Fragments. Modified & unpublished References are just published as part of the Managed Publication without any control about it. Verbessertes/erwartetes Verhalten: Managed Publication for Content Fragments is expected to work as in AEM Sites, incl. enhanced filter possibilities. Request for Feature Enhancement (RFE) Summary: Would like the following feature - Extend AEM Assets Bulk Import to have other data sources besides Azure Blob Storage or S3 instance. Use-case: We want to import assets to AEMaaCS from other 3rd party cloud-based CMS such as Kapost and Box. Currently the best alternate option seems to be to transfer data (6.5 TB) to a S3 or Azure instance and then migrate it to AEM. Current/Experienced Behavior: No option to configure an alternate data source (save S3 and Azure) for cloud to cloud migration Improved/Expected Behavior: Ability to configure custom 3rd party cloud data source to import assets and metadata in bulk from any cloud based CMS. Environment Details (AEM version/service pack, any other specifics if applicable): AEMaaCS - Version - 2023.03 Customer-name/Organization name: TA Digital Screenshot (if applicable): N.A Code package (if applicable): N.A @kautuk_sahni
Request for Feature Enhancement (RFE) Summary: When you upload native XD files in AEM Assets, auto-generate a preview image like other file types: ,jpg, .png etc. Use-case: Upload .xd file, auto-generate a preview image for .xd files Current/Experienced Behavior: Generic preview icon for .XD files (see attached) Improved/Expected Behavior: preview image based on contents of XD file Environment Details (AEM version/service pack, any other specifics if applicable): AEM Assets 6.5.x Customer-name/Organization name: Walgreens Screenshot (if applicable): Code package (if applicable):
Description - setting up possibility to configure alerts to be triggered at specific timeWhy is this feature important to you - alerts are usually triggered shortly after midnight (CET), when data for the current day has not always been uploaded to AA. This causes false alerts to be detected, such as different anomalies and "Sent=0".How would you like the feature to work - provide possibility in alert configuration panel to select a time for triggering of alert.Current Behaviour - only possible to set time granularity of alert (weekly, daily ets)
I often want to share a PDF of a Workspace project accompanied by an email explaining the context, rather than just dumping it on the recipients unannounced. Yes, there is a description field, but that's not the same as composing a proper email, or replying to an existing thread, and there may be other related materials I want to include. So I have to email the file to myself, wait for it to come, download it, then compose my outbound email and attach it. Can you please add an instant PDF download option?
When a task/issue is assigned to multiple people, individual users can mark 'done with my part.' This is not available for tasks/issues assigned to Teams. Would like the ability for anyone in the assigned Team to be able to mark 'done with my part.'
I'm passing on an idea from users from our in-house Web Design team to make the experience of checking off notifications in the in-app notifications area easier by simply making the blue dot bigger and easier to click on. The complaint is that because the target area is so small, it is difficult to click just right to activate the button and that makes it frustrating to the user when there are sometimes hundreds of notifications to mark as read -- that must be marked individually. Making this change to the "mark as read" button would be simple to implement as a "look and feel" type of improvement and would give the user a bigger target area than something just a few pixels wide relative to the message space.
Description - You're doing well with v1 of the Data Dictionary, but you still have room to improve. You need to add a line where components are missing tags. Why is this feature important to you - Yes, they are optional to add, but these are a feature that make components so much easier to find, use, and manage, that once people understand the value, they will want to be able to manage them better. How would you like the feature to work - Just like the current interface, add another line that has a filter button to view all components missing Tags.Current Behavior - Currently, we are only given the four choices below:
Straightforward idea: with folders.json effectively acting as an "all assets" query at this point, could please get the ability to segregate out what assets are retrieved by having the folderType value available for parameterization?
Description - The ability to move an assigned task by dragging and dropping to another day within Workload balancer. Why is this feature important to you - This would save out project management team time when having to reallocated or re-schedule tasks. They can utilise Workload Balancer fully, creating a filter for the assignee team and moving tasks around as required, all from one screen without the need to refresh. How would you like the feature to work - The task can only be moved to another day if the user has capacity on that day. If the task has relevant task constraints (ie not Fixed Dates) and predecessors have been applied, other tasks within the project will be moved accordingly. If the revised project completion date moves beyond the original date, an alert is shown. Current Behaviour - Whilst you can re-allocate a task to another user, it has to be on the same day as it is currently scheduled for. They only way that I can see to do this is by
Ideally all fields and all project attributes are fully populated and its the users and admins responsibility to maintain the system's data fidelity. Yet in some cases, that may not be possible (yet to be assigned, yet to be known, not the right timing etc.) Workfront currently will identify these as "No Value" and will be named as such in Groupings. To the unsuspecting reader, this may be misconstrued as "Not Important." I suggest replacing these instances with "Empty" or "Blank" to notify that the field is not populated but the overall context may still be valuable.
When creating proofs I want my recipient to first see the multipage proofs as I intend, "fit to page" or "100%" not some random size.
Currently, users are allowed to charge time against On Hold status projects if they choose to. By Workfront description, On Hold status means "The project has not finished yet, but due to some delays, the project needs to be temporarily suspended. The project manager chooses to use this status to alert users in the project team to stop working on the project, at the current time." We don't want to allow users to charge any time against On Hold projects whether accidentally or purposely. Can you include the option to disable logging time against On Hold projects in the Setup area, similar to what we currently have for Dead and Complete projects (screenshot below)?
The Adobe Target editor / publisher roles allow for separation of duties, which is a good. But let's be honest, it's wonderfully inflexible.Could we consider smashing those 2 roles together like a raging mosh pit to create something more impressive. For example:A single role where editors can publish other editors' activities, but can't publish activities they've edited themselves - keeping the 2-person workflow for compliance and security reasons in tact.Or at least allow an editor to pause an activity that's gone unhinged, so they can quickly stop the chaos and start fixing it, while still leaving the publisher the only one with the ability to "unpause" it.Or allow an editor to edit an active activity while it's still running, but the edits don't go into effect until the publisher OK's it. Similar to duplicating an activity, but without having the "restart" problem of starting a new activity and losing all the AI/ML data AND AND AND not having hours or days of downtime while the acti
Description - Please provide documentation and support for SFTP Data Source Imports. Why is this feature important to you - Security needsHow would you like the feature to work - Please include Data Sources in this documentation: https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/analytics/export/ftp-and-sftp/secure-file-transfer-protocol/ftp-sftp.html?lang=en.Current Behaviour - Currently, Adobe has support and documentation for SFTP uploads to Data Warehouse and Analytics Data Feed. Please include Data Source Imports in this list.
Request for Feature Enhancement (RFE) Summary: Currently, if you go and select an asset in the "Quick action" toolbar, you will see the option to smart crop and edit the asset no matter what role and permissions the user has. Causing a poor experience and confusion for the end-user because the user cannot save the changes after using it. Use-case: Current/Experienced Behavior: ‘Quick actions’ is visible for users that don't have permission to use that was causing performance issues Improved/Expected Behavior: To have an enhancement and OOTB solution from Adobe to help end users use the "Quick action" toolbar with the actions that they can perform based on the roles and permissions Environment Details (AEM version/service pack, any other specifics if applicable): AEM Cloud Manager service pack 2023.2.0 Customer-name/Organization name: Accenture Screenshot (if applicable): Code package (if applicable):
