Hi, I have an urgent request and would appreciate a quick response. I'm trying to export a dataset from AEP to a third-party system (Azure Blob/S3/SFTP). The records in these datasets contain PII data, and I cannot select which fields to activate for the destination, as that option is not available in AEP. How can I export the datasets and all the records while skipping the activation of the PII fields? I understand I can label the fields and create a governance policy to restrict activation, but will that restrict the activation of the entire record or just the specific field? Thanks!

Hello! In my company we have finished the configuration of the processing rules of the marketing channels. We would like to be able to group these channels through “Marketing Channel Classifications”.This is what I have started to do through this section:  I have included the exact name of each marketing channel created, but when I see the results I can't see this grouping. Can you help me?I have classified SEO in 5 mk channels but here appears 23.  This are my mk channels:      

I was reading the documentation on Diagnose Data Discrepancies in CJA. Here is the URL (Customer Journey Analytics FAQ | Adobe Customer Journey Analytics) and screenshot below.  What is confusing me is how the example is worded. If someone deleted the data set from AEP, then the data set should be deleted from CJA. Deleting a dataset in Adobe Experience Platform data lake stops data flow from that dataset to any Customer Journey Analytics Connections that include that dataset. Any data from that dataset is automatically deleted from the associated Customer Journey Analytics connections. What am I missing? Shouldn't CJA only have the single data set? Thanks!

Hi guys, I wanted to convert my pdf to xml format using the sdk. I did try to do it directly from the app, but after few pages, the structure is getting messed up, like every single sub heading is just under one header. So i had to make multiple small pdfs for the same pdf and manually convert them through the app. But this is eating away my time. I wanted to ask if: 1) Am i doing something wrong with the software? 2) Is there option to convert pdf to xml sdk? if yes can anyone provide me with the code please.

Hello.  Hopefully you guys can help.  I'm adding AA analytics to a new site using a current launch property.  The new site is basically laid out the same as my other sites, besides the domain, which shouldn't matter I hope.  I'm firing one page view rule (acdl.cmp:show.global) which pushes the aa variables and sends beacon (see attached AA setting ).  I see the rule firing but not seeing any of the s_ cookies appear and nothing is being captured in debugger.   We use Onetrust, however I've disabled it just to rule it out.  For context, this site had GTM, however, we've removed.  The site has adobe launch url, datalayer object and my datalayer.js file, so the setup is correct.   I'm not sure what I need to do to get this to work. All my other sites work fine and setup isn't any different.  The only thing I can think of is this site was using GTM before.

What is the latency for AA as a source to CDP?I know that Web SDK is real-time and would like to know how it compares to Web SDK.Is it possible to track web data through Web SDK send it to Analytics and then use it as AA as source to AEP?

I wanted to add UTM parameters only to the internal links (client domain links) and not to the external links(non client domain links. ex- youtube.com/ google.com, etc). Is it possible to configure utm parameters for selective domains/links?

We are in the process of migrating to AEP from App Measurement (i.e. Adobe Analytics legacy) and we have numerous sites that are not owned by us and would need tremendous coordination among different owners to migrate them to the WebSDK. Is there any way that we could have these sites send their smetric requests to AEP (e.g. change the cname endpoint) and we could process those requests and send them onto CJA?

Dear community, I was tasked with connecting Streaming Event Data into AEP using Kafka. I was following "This Link" (https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/platform-learn/tutorial-one-adobe/activation/rtcdpb2c/rtcdp26/ex2) "Link 2" (https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/platform-learn/tutorial-one-adobe/activation/rtcdpb2c/rtcdp26/ex3) and "Link 3" (https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/platform-learn/tutorial-one-adobe/activation/rtcdpb2c/rtcdp26/ex4). I was able to get to the very end of the exercise however, In Exercise 2.6.4 under "Produce an experience event" step, I ingest a test data as the exercise mentioned. However, upon checking, I was not able to see the test data I just uploaded into AEP. Upon further inspection, in Exercise 2.6.4 under "Create your Adobe Experience Platform Sink Connector using Postman" during the step where I had to use POSTMAN with the request of "GET Check Kafka Connect Connector Status". I was able to see that in the RESPONSE,

We migrated our mobile application to use a different sandbox. In this process, we set up the data stream, tags, etc., in the same way as the previous sandbox. However, we are now getting an error when requesting content via the AEP Optimize - Decisioning SDK that we did not receive before. The error is: Decisioning Service error, type: https://ns.adobe.com/aep/errors/ODE-0001-404, status: 404, title: Not Found, detail: The Decisioning Package was not found., report: [:]" I'm not sure if anyone has encountered this before, but everything starts working fine again if we move back to the original sandbox.

I have successfully connected to BigQuery. Test Connection is successfull. However deploy functions does not work. Do you know how to debug? 

I have two rules for page views. Once is the default Page view, and the other is the custom page view. I configured the page path evar with a value from the data Layer in the XDM object for both page views. However, the evar was not rendered in the network call or the debugger. For default page views I didn't get the value for the evar, and for the custom page views, the value was getting. I will attach the Rule approach for the default page views below. In this you can see the empty value for the evars  1. Here, PageView-test is a default page view, and PageView{AA} is a custom page view.2. This is the XDM object for the default page view. Here I gave the evar for the Path and web page details for the default page view.3. Rule for the default page view,  can anyone, please help me to set the evar for this.   

Hi Adobe Community,   I got an error while building an audience saying that "this column exceeds allowed complexity. Please simplify or remove" (see below). Has anyone else experienced this and if so, any ideas on how to fix this? The data that I am using is event data. Would I be able to get around this if I converted it into attribute data.   Thanks, Nick  

Looking to create a custom dashboard in AEP RTCDP which should contain what audiences were sent to which destination, when it was sent, audience size and the variables/fields that were sent to each destination - ( this includes user defined fields as well). Kindly suggest a good approach

Adobe Analytics Data feed provide scheduled hourly exports. Is there a parity for AEP data export to do hourly or less?

XXX There is a table like that. Assuming that I have got a field in batch which do not meet the requirements of Schema field (pattern, format). How would be a behaviour of such a batch:a) batch would land in Data Lake b) batch would be aborted ?  

Hi, I'm seeing something a little odd on the profiles in AEP. We are using AJO and sending emails. in the customer profile, under events, i can see all the message interactions like message open. but dont see the email sends (i would imagine its direct marketing email sent). In fact i dont see the 'direct marketing email opened' event either (as i would expect from an AJO send, which also makes building audiences tricky as those events when used, return zero). and why under message event type.  I've set the channels up as marketing emails, so would expect to see all email interactions any ideas?

Just as the title says. I know that currently many of the batch sources allow you to use encryption keys that can be generated in Experience Platform, however, I haven't seen anything about streaming sources, particularly the HTTP API source. Is it possible?

Hi, We are planning to delete users/profiles from the AEP sandbox that have not been active for a year to remain under the licensing quota. There seem to be two ways we can delete them: 1. Datahygiene tool and 2. Delete APIs.Can we also use QS PSQL to delete profiles too? Also, I have a few questions.Does the API have a daily limit on data deletion? How is it different from other purge activities like data hygiene/PSQL?How does the delete happen? Does it only delete profile datasets, or does it also delete related records from the engagement datasets?What are your recommendations on setting up such a purge process for profiles/contact history in AEP? ThanksDebraj
