SAML OSGi configuration (com.adobe.granite.auth.saml.SamlAuthenticationHandler.config) that is deployed using package (e.g. config.author, config.dev) is not taking effect. After each deployment, one needs to open the config manager, and just "save" the deployed configuration. Has anyone faced similar issues. Kindly share the resolution. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ UPDATE ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ @leoberliant , @sunjot16 , @user05162 , @briankasingli , @aemmarc2 greatly appreciate your leads. I thought, I would update you about what I have tried today. The issue is not resolved but I have some information on what appears to be resolving the issue. When the ui.apps package is deployed, I get these two entries in the error.log: 19.05.2020 16:51:15.225 *INFO* [JcrInstaller.1] org.apache.sling.installer.provider.jcr.impl.JcrInstaller Registering resource with OSGi installer: [InstallableResource, priority=200, id=/apps/cms-commons/config/

Hi All, We have implemented a footer component which internally adds other components like image(logo), text, navigation, copyright etc using data-sly-resource in footer.html file. We have added this footer component into Footer experience fragment. But client wants an ability to add any text or embed component into footer inside this Footer experience fragment. I can add component into footer on top of existing image or text component using + symbol(add component) and I see those dropped text component persist in CRXDE as nodes as below:but when I refresh this footer XF I cant see this these component. I checked logs and I am getting one exception in error logs once I refresh page:0.07.2023 15:41:58.325 *ERROR* [[0:0:0:0:0:0:0:1] [1689847918230] GET /content/experience-fragments/my-program/footer/footer-members.html HTTP/1.1] org.apache.sling.scripting.javascript.wrapper.ScriptableResource Unable to adapt object.java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: [JavaPackage o
I have created a custom component in which I wanted to use the Text Core Component. In HTL, I have added the following code for the same: <sly data-sly-test="${wcmmode.edit}"> <div data-sly-resource="${'Text' @resourceType='/apps/my-project/components/text', decorationTagName='div'}"></div> </sly> I have added my component in the template and kept it locked. Just wanted that the texy component in that should be unlocked. For that, I unlock the text component in the template. In page, for first time, the text component is editable. But once it is edited, it gets locked in the template by itself and the text which I edited shows in the template which should not happen. How can I set my text component in the custom component unlocked?
Hi, I tried to translate the Content Fragment content but that content is not sent for translation. Let's take an example, suppose, we have a Content fragment model, named "Press Release" and there are 2 fields "title" and "description". Once we create a content fragment based on the "Press Release" model and Create a Translation project then content fragment fields are not going for translation, I am using AEM 6.5.12.0 version, I tried to add some translation rules but that also does not help, I am sure there are some issues with writing a Translation rule for translating aginst the Content Fragment Model. Can anyone please help me with this?
So what I know is that to create a Dynamic media scene7 URL for an asset is :https://<scene7domainname>/is/image/<companyname>/<assetname> Also, Through UI, I can see that the url for a rendition is https://<scene7_domain_name>/is/image/<company_name>/<asset_name>?$<image_preset_name>$ However the rendition title is not there in the rendition jcr data or the metadata. So How do I get the rendition scene 7 url in sling, or the rendition title?Any code examples would be nice. Thanks

I have recently activated a trial of Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and I am trying to learn how to use the AEM Headless Client as described in the tutorials. I am particularly interested in the Node.js module available on GitHub (@adobe/aem-headless-client-nodejs).However, I'm having difficulty identifying certain parameters required for the client configuration. Specifically, I'm not certain where to find the 'serviceURL' and 'auth' parameters, which are necessary to instantiate the AEMHeadless client. The 'serviceURL' is presumably the URL for my AEM instance, and 'auth' would be my authentication token or credentials. However, I'm unsure where these are provided or how to generate them in the context of my AEM trial. Here's a snippet from the GitHub README file that describes these parameters: const aemHeadlessClient = new AEMHeadless({ serviceURL: '<aem_host>', endpoint: '<graphql_endpoint>', auth: '<aem_token>' || ['<aem_user>', '<aem_pass>'
Session Details Key value: This session is about the ongoing transition to a Headless architecture for AEM. This will focus on performing all actions through simple but powerful API calls, while maintaining speed of process. Content: The two APIs we will cover are the Content Fragment Models (CFM) and Content Fragments(CF) control plane APIs. Using these two APIs, users can easily create complex models as well as populate them in a fast and straightforward manner. You will be guided through creating a new Content Fragment Model and then populating Content Fragments based on it. Then, we will update the Model and create other Fragments based on the new structure. Once done, we will start looking at more complex use cases revolving around creating more Content Fragment Models in one request: -> Creating CFMs without references to other CFMs -> Creating CFMs with references to existing CFMs -> Creating CFMs with references to new CFMs (CFMs that will be created in the same reque

Streamlining AEM Instance Setup and Incremental Builds with Gradle AEM Plugin by Kiran Sg Abstract Problem Statement: How to set up an AEM instance in one click? Can I perform incremental builds on the Maven project? Introduction: Gradle AEM Plugin (GAP) developed by Wunderman Thompson Technology uses Gradle as a building tool. Advantages of Gradle: 1. Flexibility 2. Performance Incrementality — tracks the tasks, watches file changes and runs only what is necessary. Build Cache — Reuses the build outputs of any other Gradle build with the same inputs. Gradle Daemon — A long-lived process that keeps building information “hot” in memory. 3. User experience How to get started? Step 1: Create the project outside the Desktop, Documents and Downloads folder to avoid all kinds of setup issues. Step 2: Create a new project structure using an AEM archetype (using the latest archetype of the below example) you can also run on your current project if it follows the Adobe archetype Read Fu

Securing content for GraphQL queries by Aanchal Sikka Abstract The Adobe Experience Manager as a Cloud Service (AEM) GraphQL API for Content Fragment Delivery serves as a crucial solution for accepting external queries from third-party applications or services. The main objective is to enable secure headless content delivery by facilitating authenticated API access for remote queries. This can be achieved by using Access Tokens for accessing GraphQL end-points. Scenarios: There are various scenarios for accessing an application: Consistent access setup: This involves a configuration where permissions remain relatively stable and do not change frequently. Dynamic access setup: In this scenario, authors have the ability to control access to specific folders. This approach is commonly implemented in conjunction with Closed User Groups (CUG) to provide granular access control. In the following sections, we will explore both approaches. While the majority of the steps remain the same, t

We have a requirement to restrict file uploads in DAM by a maximum file size and white list of valid file types. I cannot find any Adobe documentation regarding this subject. Is there a configuration that can control these parameters? If not, what would need to be done to restrict DAM uploads by these parameters?
Hi Community,In one of the components. Input is a list of tag paths based on the tags input. All the articles that have this tag are pulled out and displayed as featured articles. CLIENT HAS SUDDENLY RELOCATED / renamed a few no.of tags in PROD Directly. Now, in the component the input she gave the location of the new tags. It pulls pages that were created post this tag renaming. But not the old pages, since the repository has already saved the old tag-id and when Lucene search looks into the pages with the new tag-id, it is not found and therefore old pages are not returned. She says the pages should know about the relocation and Lucene has to pick old pages too. I know we can write out a script to rename tag-id in the repository level either as a servlet or fiddle script. But is there any other way/tool to immediately do this in PROD Directly?
When I am adding components inside locked container and making it unlock it is coming like this how to resolve in editable Template

Content Fragments Support in AEM Assets HTTP API by Adobe Abstract The Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Assets REST API allows developers to access content (stored in AEM) directly over the HTTP API, via CRUD operations (Create, Read, Update, Delete). The API allows you to operate AEM as a headless CMS (Content Management System) by providing Content Services to a JavaScript front end application. Or any other application that can execute HTTP requests and handle JSON responses. For example, Single Page Applications (SPA), framework-based or custom, require content provided over the HTTP API, often in JSON format. While AEM Core Components provide a very comprehensive, flexible and customizable API that can serve required Read operations for this purpose, and whose JSON output can be customized, they do require AEM WCM (Web Content Management) know-how for implementation as they must be hosted in (API) pages that are based on dedicated AEM templates. Not every SPA development organizat
