when I try to transfer an asset from one user to the other, I have 3 things that makes the process slow. I kindly request the following changes to the "asset transfer process"1) by default all categories/assets are checked. that means if I only want to transfer some of all the items, I first need to disable/uncheck all categories before starting to select. since the most common case is to transfer single items:=> set "unchecked" all items by default2) transferring single assets from a user with a huge library can be a mess. I would love to search for names/tags as it is possible in any other asset manager screen (eg. project manager, segment manager,...)=> implement an option to search for names/tags3) when transferring assets from an admin to a non admin user, the receiver gets admin rights. that means I need to hot to admin console and undo the change.=> add option to disable "admin" propagation
While it is handy to be able to search for pages containing certain text, it would be good to also be able to filter based on a metric. I imagine this can be accomplished with some complicated segments but this would be much simpler and more dynamic. For example, filter to show only pages which have more than 100 page views, or pages which have a bounce rate of >50%, or pages which have contributed a certain amount of users to a certain conversion event. In some situations, this column could then potentially not be included in the table, freeing up space. On top of this, it would be great if the column totals updated when filters are applied, almost as if a segment had been used on the table.
We need a time segment that take current weekday and compare it to average of the same weekday the last 12 weeks. Eg. One section has xx pageviews this Friday - and to find out if its high or low level, we need the average of the last 12 weeks, on the same day. As we are a news publisher house, we cannot just compair with yesterday or same day last week, as everyday is affected of todays history. The segment is required to be rolling dates as we wan't to display the numbers in a data visualization app.
Need a way to show hour to date sales for comparison to last year. If you use the YOY Basic Tempate in Workspace and click on the calendar, hour is not an option. Please add hour as an option.
We are seeing a large number of Payment Sites, especially in Asia and Europe obscuring the true referrers. We currently manage these by adding them to the list of Internal URL filters, but the list is growing, and it would be really helpful if Adobe were to start building and maintaining such a global list, similarly to the list of Social sites and Search engines.Alternatively, these payment sites can simply be excluded through "contains" filter (e.g. exclude URLs containing 'bank' or 'card'), but the current list of Internal URL filter currently requires an exact match.Understanding that some companies may, indeed, want to keep these referring domains, this feature should probably be with an on/off switch per report suite.
It's great that the Data Feed tool has access to rerun jobs. But, It would be even better if we could add to the Data Feed API the option to resend failed jobs. That would help the workflow tremendously.
I did contact Client Care about this as I believe it's a bug / defect but they advised it's working as per design, if so the design would seem to be a bit flawed. The introduction of visibility control for an event was a great idea (though I'm still waiting on the same for dimensions). The concept of hiding except for builders so the front end isn't bombarded with unnecessary events makes a lot of sense, we can rely on calculated metrics to surface what we want, how we want and with any necessary modifications (e.g. segments or calculations). What doesn't make sense to me though is that to me the idea was about making things easy in the front end, Data Warehouse however can't use calculated metrics which means if you want to use any event in Data Warehouse you can't use the function. I would view Data Warehouse as a 'builder' given you can't use calculated metrics (in the same way you can't in builders) and it's designed for more technical users getting out large scale data. Not being ab
Currently if you drag a segment A into another segment B in the builder it will just copy it in i.e. it rebuilds A in B. This means if you change the original segment A it won't update in B.What would be great is if you could drag a segment into another segment in a similar way to how a calculated metric works. This means you only need to maintain the original A segment as it will feed through into any other segments that reference it.
The link generated from "Get Project Link" in Workspace directs you to the legacy analytics login. This should direct you through Marketing Cloud login instead.
There is a point where workspace becomes extremely slow... for sure due to the number or structure of queries. Could you add a small box to log the list of queries with status (ready / loading data / processing) and last performance in terms of sec? So we can understand where is the problem...
Hi guys,Background:People using Virtual Report Suite Report suite get the "Component may not appear" alert every time they try to save a new segment / metric / date range which is not centrally added to VRS by the team supporting the implementation.Acceptance criteria:In many other alerts Adobe displays "do not show me this alert anymore", therefore we would appreciate the tick box under the given alert which will allow to not show the alert again. Many thanks for your support on that,Best regards,Jakub
Adobe:In administrating and managing AA at my company, it would be useful if we had an ability to download listings of "Scheduled Reports", Data Warehouse Reports, as well as being able to download lists from all other Admin pages. In some locations within Adobe Analytics, we are offered an opportunity to "Export to *.csv format" - I would like to see this ability everyplace - one example of a place I would like to see this would be within the "Scheduled Report Manager." One example of a place where this already exists is within Admin > Analytics Users and Assets - placing a check mark in the box at the top of the column on the far let checks all boxes and makes "Export to csv" available. I would like to see this function everyplace.Thank You,Bill MenichilloDow Jones
Currently, page event ids are only documented in the clickstream reference documents. New ids have been added in the past, and there's no way to know when this occurs. I would suggest adding page event to the list of lookup files that are delivered with the clickstream feeds. ThanksKeric
Hi Team,Adobe Analytics answer what has happened or what is happening. Could we have forecasting feature in Analytic which can answer the question: what will happen? For e.g. Predicting what would be sales 1 or 2 or "X" periods down the lane. We can build models from already available data in Analytics like recency (days since last visit), frequency (number of times visited) and monetary value (revenue).
I depend a lot on the use of Workspace Templates in my usage. Now that we have all of the standard templates and a growing number of custom templates, the initial "All Templates" tab is pretty long for me.But I, personally, tend to use just a few of those templates (but I use those few many times a day).I would like to be able to tag or mark as "favorite" templates - the effect of which is then to have a new (default) tab in the New Project dialog that shows me just my favorited templates (but still leave the "All", "Standard" and "Custom" tabs in that dialog). This would empower the user to control their work environment and help improve productivity. This is related to idea 10402 - "Ability to hide standard templates" - taking a different approach to the same problem.
I'd like to propose a new variable that is used to capture both pageviews and actions. I've always done this as a best practice in my implementations, but started to think it wasn't necessary now that dimensions and dimension types can be mixed in Workspace pathing. For example, I can start with Page, select a page, then drag in Custom Link, select a link value, drag in page, etc. This type of analysis is done often in the app world, but makes just as much sense in web analysis too. However, that example is not a replacement for a single variable that captures everything. One big reason is that the above bold example assumes there is a custom link in between each page view. There may not be - a pageview could take place immediately following a pageview - and that path would be ignored from the visualization.A similarly big reason is that two non-pageview links in a row also wouldn't be represented in the bold example. And finally, if the user happened to download a file in between thos
As an Adobe Analytics leader across many markets, I would like to enable account & data access governance by creating different permissions for our reporting users. In the Old Adobe product, you could provide Read Only access to the Admin - Report Suite settings section. This means user could at least go into the configuration of a report suite and see the eVar, Props, events, marketing channels rules that are created (but prevent their ability from modify the settings).Today you can not with the new portal. It has a "Read" view in Permission-Report Suite Tools, but you can still Write & modify configurations. This is not good for data & account set-up governance.I would recommend to redefine the current Read Views as they are quite inaccurate.
I would like the ability to set up simple year over year daily alerts. Our industry is very cyclical and/or seasonal on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. Trying to set up day over day, week over week or month over month alerts is not feasible. I have done the analysis on basic metrics; visits, transactions, etc. and I see the variance for the highs and lows for those comparisons as follows; Day over Day: -47% to +148%Week over Week: -51% to +150%Month Over Month: -71% to +142%When I do a Year over Year (i.e. -364 days, same day of week) I get the ranges -15% to +21%,So for us having alerts for a Year over Year day are a much more accurate measure of change and allow for setting tighter thresholds
Currently, the admin console gives the ability to copy permissions from a product profile. It would be great to extend this functionality for the permissions of useres as well.
I love the customize calendar feature for a report suite but it doesn't work correctly with our fiscal calendar. We use a modified gregorian calendar but the end of our calendar year is a year forward. Can you please add the ability to select what the year should be for starting. Example:Our fiscal year starts in March. So calendar March 2019 is month 1 of fiscal year 2020. If I use the modified gregorian calendar option today and select first month of year as March. The reports are one year behind. (Example: calendar February 2019 is fiscal year 2018 (correct should be: fiscal 2019) and calendar March 2019 is fiscal 2019 (correct should be: fiscal 2020). Solution:If you add a drown down option to select, year forward or year backward that would allow people to adjust based on their specific calendar. I would be surprised if people haven't had issues with this in the past.
Adobe is a global company, offering its products around the world. The expectation is that the tools work also in non-English environments. There are several issues where functions do not work as designed due to lack of language support (or foreign language testing), especially in ReportBuilder.I am not talking about translation issues or missing languages (all our reporting and also Adobe UI settings are in English), but there are issues if the Windows client and/or UI is not English. For example, the "segment segment from cell" script does not work if the OS is German (even if Excel UI and ReportBuilder UI are English). My suggestion: Adobe, please test your tools in non-English UI environments before rolling it out to the customer.
Currently, the Analysis Workspace auto-generated conditional formatting feature doesn't work very well. If you have a large date range with various metrics, it doesn't dynamically change or adjust to changes. Often times you have to use the manual feature to sett upper and lower bounds.I'd like to see this feature work better so you can make changes and have the color schemes change dynamically. If that isn't possible, I'd like to have the ability to set the upper and lower bounds by using a formula that uses the same functions already available in Analysis Workspace.
Working on React Native and getting Adobe Analytics to work in a pain, we need to create bridge and make methods avaliable from the Native path in ReactNative, so can we please have a npm package that works in React and ReactNative?
We're currently looking at importing offline sales data in order to help us evaluate the performance of our optimisation campaigns. Ideally I want to be able to look at the A4T ranked report with a number of online metrics and our offline sale metric. I've attached a screenshot which shows the standard A4T ranked report and the Sales metric that is being imported using Data Sources. Currently we're importing the sales metric as event11 and correlating with purchaseID, so when I look at the purchaseID report against event11 I'm seeing data as expected. However, if I try to breakdown A4T activity reporting by purchaseID and then tie to event11 it will show all as zeros. I'm assuming this is because the sales event is only correlated with the purchaseID but not the A4T activity report. It would be extremely useful to be able to evaluate Target campaign performance against offline data that forms a key part of the end to end purchase funnel.
It would be great if Adobe Analytics allowed customers to identify variables in the Admin console as they wish instead of having to use "event1" or "event2"If users could pick their own names, they could more easily make implementations align across multiple report suites instead of having to worry about pre-defined variable slots for events, eVars and sProps. For example, if you defined internal searches as event.internalsearch, you could make that consistent in all implementations vs. having to make sure all report suites used the correct event number. This would also make it easier to share objects across implementations.
