I have to set up a dynamic dashboard. But the current API just allows fix dates/datranges How can I make a query with a dynamic date/daterange (e.g. today, this month, last month, this year)???
There is no way to tell which feeds are paused. Maybe add it to Status? Also it is not obvious how to resume a paused feed.
Hello,I would like for SAINT Classifications (both lookups and rules) to be available in the Power BI Desktop connector.-Nick
It would be very useful having the option of updating an existing scheduled datawarehouse report instead of creating a new one by duplicating an existing one.
In the old billing section, were we could see server call usage, there was a breakdown of your server call usage based on the call/function type, s.t function vs s.tl function. This breakdown was useful in knowing why server call usage grew over a specific period. The new Server Call Usage area doesn't have this breakdown (not to mention not having a monthly breakdown, but that idea has already been raised I'd like to be able to trend server call usage reports by month )Please bring this functionality back. Thanks
Hello Adobe,Please create a way for individual users to be able to set a default report suite or their Reports, Workspaces, etc. It would also be good for admins to have the capability to set a company-wide default report suite. Thanks for considering,Tracy G
I would like a feature that would allow us to schedule or control what time the Adobe Alerts run.Currently Alerts run around midnight or 12:30am.For our particular business, we upload the Revenue and Orders (from our partners) the next morning around 8:00am. However, all of the Adobe alerts run around midnight, so I get alerts that revenue is $0 (and anomalous) and conversion rate is 0% (and anomalous) because they are running several hours before our systems populate Adobe. If I were allowed to schedule my alerts in the morning, after Revenue & Orders were uploaded in Adobe, then the alerts would be so much more useful. For now I have had to delete all references to revenue and orders in all of my Alerts, which really limits their usefulness. My Alerts would be so much more robust and helpful if I could keep Revenue, Revenue/Visit, eCPM, Orders, Conversion Rate, etc. due to scheduling them in the morning, instead of midnight.
From a technical point of view this is not difficult. You already have currency conversion in place for each report suite - being able to change this is key for our needs. All you need is a daily scrape of currencies from a supplier like XE. This would allow our UK team to see £, our FR team to see € and the US team to report in $. Currently we are using secondary server calls but this is not a viable long term solution.
The search textbox is too broad. For example, we have segments names per country and per site, so Site ABC AU, Site ABC US, Site XYZ AU, Site XYZ US, etc. If I want to search for Site AU, I expect to see only Site ABC AU, Site XYZ AU, but instead I also see Site ABC US and Site XYZ US.
We have many report suites, and many users, each of which can see only 1 or 2 report suites. I have access to all the report suites. I need to make a dashboard that I can share with all the users. When each user views the dashboard, it needs to show the data for the report suite that the user has access to. So the dashboard will be a template that is filled in with different data, depending on who is using it. This could be done by each user having a default report suite that will be used automatically in the dashboard, or by letting me assign a report suite for each user that will be used in the dashboard. The current situation requires me to re-create the dashboard, along with all reportlets, for every single user, using a different report suite each time. Since we could have over 100 report suites and users, this is time consuming and impractical. Thanks,Christopher Stanwood
Having a request per Hour would optimize a lot the responses because of the large amount of data returned. The functionality is available in v1.3, but it hasn't been provided in the API v1.4. How exist limit of data in return responses, this parameter become very import when is necessary extract informetion that exceed the extraction limits supported by API.For exemple:While we were trying to test version 1.4 API we faced another error:Scenario tested:API: ReportMethod: QueueEnvironment: San Jose – ProductionRequest:REST 1.4Post URL: https://api.omniture.com/admin/1.4/rest/?method=Report.QueueParameters:{ "reportDescription": { "reportSuiteID":"wmbdesktop", "reportType":"warehouse", "dateFrom":"2016/11/25 09:00:00", "dateTo":"2016/11/25 09:59:59", &n
I would like the Workspace to include the line breaks we have made in our descriptions on the variables (evar, prop and events)In Admin i can make a description like this:I make the line break for a reason. It makes it easier to read. But in Workspace it look like this.
I noticed a major privacy problem with API 2.0 while testing out the possibilities of restricted permissions for normal users:Using the command https://analytics.adobe.io/api/[mycompany]/users?limit=[XX] a normal user can get a list of all users in a given organization. This may pose a privacy issue as a normal user should not be able to see the usernames, admin status, email, first & last name, phone number, and title. Those are highly personalized information on any given user. Usually, I would think that only admins can get access to this information. Even though a "normal" user has no writing rights to manage, change or create users this is still a problem.Client Care says that the function is working as intended but this feature should not be an intended function for API 2.0. Please change this so that only admins can use this function and normal users only get information on their own account with https://analytics.adobe.io/api/[mycompany]/users/me.
When I create a new Marketing Cloud user in the Admin console (for Analytics or Target, for example), the welcome email they received doesn't indicate what their username/login is, needed for when they try to log in and if they are logging into from a browser other than that the welcome email link resolves to, and needed for password resets. Also, the email doesn't indicate what kind of ID type they have: Adobe ID or Enterprise ID. My organization currently uses both for Adobe products (Marketing Cloud and Creative Cloud, respectively). Currently, I have to set solution permissions as a separate step in the user creation process, but I also have additional work when creating a user because I have to trouble-shoot with the user after they receive the "Welcome email" to resolve why they could log in initially with no password (yes, clicking on the welcome email link brings them directly into the solution with no password and logging in), but have been unable to log in subsequently, creat
I would like to raise a feature request on Analytics reporting API.We would like to be able to manage hourly filtering in Analytics: that means to be able to create Analytics segment based on hour dimension (for instance “Last X hours” within an AA segment) at visitor level. Sincerely, Isabelle
As an Adobe Analytics admin, I want the ability to update, change, and set a users default report suite at any time. Issues arise when a user creates a new project in Workspace, begins to perform analysis or the building of segments and metrics and then realizes afterward that they have defaulted to the wrong report suite. This is an issue if the user was defaulted to a report suite when their account was created but that report suite changes or is no longer used by the organization.
We are in the process of auditing all the variables & Processing Rule for more that 70+ Report Suites and we have to ensure all the Variables and processing rule are available in all the report suites with same name & definition respectively. Performing this audit manually is very cumbersome & Time consuming task. There has to be some functionality to download the template with all available fields with existing settings & value into it which we can review Edit/Update/Delete and then upload the final file for both custom variables and Processing rule. This will make everyone's life easier who are using multiple report suite and want to have set of variables and settings. If editing or upload is not feasible, at least there should be option of downloading the template with all available fields with existing settings & value so that we can review and update in the interface. ORThere should be interface to compare and change processing rule & Variables in two or mo
Does anybody know if it's possible to select the number of rows you want when you make a breakdown in Workspace? For example, I have 400 rows from a prop and I need to breakdown using another one, but I need 25 rows for every item (from the 400 rows). By default it's five, I think. It's really annoying to do do it one by one.Any advice?Thank you so much
by default, every user group with "web service access" has full admin rights on the selected report suites. there is no way to reduce the permissions to "read-only" on report suite settings.improvement:the "web service access" should only trigger, if a user group is allowed to use the API credentials. the single permissions to read/edit/delete anything within report suites should be based on other permissions (eg. the existing options for user management)
Often, one realizes that a calculation would be helpful while constructing a workspace. It would be helpful to be able to select items already placed in the workspace and add in operators to create a calculated metric on the fly.-- as opposed to having to find and place those same elements inside the calculated metric creation popup. We can select something and automatically create a segment. This would be similar to that experience.
DB Vista is one of the most under-utilized features of Adobe Analytics because it requires working through Adobe's Engineering Services. I would like to see a version of DB Vista that is available to administrators as a self-service instead. Just as Data Feeds used to require Engineering Services, but now is self-service, so too could DB Vista. I have found that Data Feeds is used much more now that it is more accessible. I think the same would be true for DB Vista.I also think that this would help enable this tangentially related idea: relational data for processing rules
Hello,It is great that we are able to adjust the calendar within Adobe Analytics tools to mirror that of our business calendar, this function is truly beneficial to reporting . However, one calendar issue within Adobe tools that should be addressed is the issue of scheduling Report Builder files to send out on the first day of the fiscal month, quarter, or year, on a reoccurring basis. For instance, currently if a user elects to schedule a file to send on the first day of each month, the file then sends on the 1st of November, the 1st of December, the 1st of January, etc. The ideal situation would be for these files to send on the 1st day of each fiscal month as determined by the fiscal calendar implemented within the Adobe Analytics tools. What about having a feature where a rolling date range could go backwards. Example:timerange a: Starting July 16th 2018 and rollingtime rnage b: should end on july 15th 2018 and always roll backwards with the same amount of days just like time range a.Wouldnt this be a great feature!
I am not sure how this is not in the ReportBuilder tool, but having the ability to sort the metrics both ascending and descending is a pretty import (and basic) feature of any data reporting tool. I would like to propose a simple fix for this. Add the ability in the request to click the little down arrow which will toggle the sort order from descending to ascending so that we can bring back top and bottom data. Right now, I have no way to bring back the top 20 pages with the lowest bounce rates... that seems like a pretty basic report. Please make this a reality Ben Gaines.... You shunned my request for the name change back to Omniture Hook me up with this please!Thanks!-Jason
Currently, segments are loaded in the "current" report suite, not in the original report suite that they were created in. This creates confusion when later editing segments because the user has to remember which report suite that segment belonged to and dimensions in one report suite may not be the same in another report suite.
