One of the events we have on our site is called Search: with results (e11). In Ad-hoc, if I am searching for this, i can type in "e11) search with" and it will be found, however, when I type in the same in Workspace, it won't be found. In Workspace, I need to get the order of the words/numbers correct, so, for example, "search with e11)" does work.It would be easier if the search style of ad-hoc was replicated in Workspace as it makes finding certain variables/events that you may have forgotten the name of easier.
Hello,When I compare time periods I can not always compare to same periods last year so I have to do it with the customized way. Moreover, when I change the initial period, the comparison doest not change reciprocally and I have to do it manually. It would be great and useful, if these updates could be done. Thanks for the support.
when looking at the "scheduled project manager" i can see all schedules by default and have no option to filter to only "mine" (especially if i don't have any schedules). This functionality is different from all other managers where you see by default your own (or shared) items and then can expand to all items (for an admin).Request: only show the schedules of the current user by default.
Hi,Currently the metric for which you want to compare multiple time periods and create the Percent Change metric needs to be in the column header (cfr next screenshot). As a consequence you'll need to recreate multiple Percent Change metrics.I would like to be able to add just one column 'Percent Change' in the next table:This would save us a lot of time. Thanks in advance,Sarah
Data Warehouse had a dedicated DataWarehouse API v1.3 but has been deprecated and my understanding is due to be shelved completely sometime this year. Though, it was lacking in the features I desired anyway (read on)The current standard is to use Report.Queue to request a Data Warehouse report. 1) DOCUMENTATION UPDATE - The reportDescription listing documentation does not show how to specify ftp info for ftp delivery. I was able to piece this together together because the example Object output by the API Explorer includes it, and it's relatively straight forward - mostly. Specific values I was also able to piece together from the v1.3 DataWarehouse.Request listing (not the same property names but still). Also, the v1.4 Data Warehouse Reports documentation just gives a quick comment about referencing the Report.ReportQueue method - which doesn't even exist anymore (it points to a 404 page, and the method itself was deprecated from v1.4). So.. this should point to the Report.Queue m
I've been doing a series of Workspace workshops with groups of people who are not familiar with Analytics at all. In my workshops, I cover basic concepts, implementation and, of course, how to create projects in WS. However, the biggest difficulty I see from these folks is to be able to tell what are the page names they need to use to create flows, fallouts and page reports. Although they have internal documentation with these details, they are not available to everyone and not so easily accessible. My suggestion would be to allow the customer to upload screenshots for their pages to Analytics and these screenshots show up when you hover over the dimension details in WS. So when a business user is not sure if that's the page they're looking for, then can do a quick check looking at the image and they don't have to go through a bunch of excel or powerpoint files to make sure they're picking the right one.The images could be pulled from AEM Assets as well.
In marketing channels processing rules, the value of the channel can be set to only one dimension no matter how many conditions are in the processing rules. So if you want to set social to the value of the referring domain, you cannot set it to the value of cmp string in cases where there is no referring domain. Please consider this as an option. Thank you, Enrique Ben Gaines says there's no way to do this now, but it would be a good idea. See the tweet exchange below."Enrique J. That's a good idea, though.
The new improvements for the virtual report suites VRSare really great. what i love the most is the ability to create VRS with component curation - this way the user just sees those dimension/metrics that i want, and i can even rename the components in a way the business understands.but: setting up the VRS for different users/user groups can end in a big effort by creating a bunch of VRS just to meet all the business requirements.Idea: add API function to create and change VRS.possivle solution: having a normal VRS im already able to get the settings (GetSettings | Adobe Developer Connection ). it would be great if i have an option to change the metrics/dimension of the VRS by a single API call the same way as i can do with the normal report suites
Would love to be able to perform the Wilcoxon Rank-Sum test on our a/b test data due to the fact that our main driver for testing is revenue. This would allow me to perform these tests directly in Analysis Workspace instead of having to export the data each time.
when searching for items (projects, schedules, metrics, ...) i'm able to look for certain tags or flags.i would love to see an option to "exclude" all items that do not contain a certain flagexamples from the past where i could have used this option- show any calculated metrics that do not contain "test" => exclude tag "test"- show all calculated metrics that have no flags => exclude all tags- show only projects from other users => exclude "mine"- show projects that are approved but not shared with certain group => include "approved", exclude "certain group"i think there are a lot more examples where an exclude option could be useful
To control what variables and events are shown, we have Virtual Report Suite specific user groups set up.Currently when we need to set up a new user group, it's insanely time consuming to add users to the new group because the pick list only includes the username, no other attributes. Two features that would address are issue are: 1) A user group cloning feature (e.g. through a 'copy' button or a Save As) would allow us to set up a master user group that contains all the users and the we clone it to adjust the 'report access' customizations. 2) Add the ability to search on any user attribute, not just username, on the user group screen. This would allow us to store values in their profile (e.g. title since there's no general description field) that are helpful for the way we organize our user groups.
We have found that 628,000 IP addresses, or 23% of IPs that have accessed our site in the last two months, do not resolve to a domain in the Domain report. This is despite the fact that the first 20 no-domain IPs we tested are listed in APNIC and commercial databases like IP2Location with a domain. Additionally, domain is only so useful, as it's often the ISP's domain and not the registering organization. We're looking into using a third party data source to bring this information in, but surely other Adobe customers want to know which companies and organizations are visiting their sites. Is there any chance of integrating with one of these databases to provide whois organization?
Segments are useful for data pull of specific requirements, esp. customized pathing. However, sometimes segments are created for one-time use and don't need to be saved in the segments manager. I'm hoping we can bring back the function to create a segment without saving. (I believe Ad Hoc has this function in segment builder). Another idea is to create folder or tags for segments so it's easier to group things together and search. Raising this idea because a lot of us are facing the struggle of a long list of segments on the left panel, which is hard to navigate or find the commonly used segments.
Analysis in Flow looks like:Often, I find that I want to see all 140+ values in the left column, or 76+ values in the right column. To do this takes click after click, where each click shows 5 items at a time. Would love to be able to right-click to expand the full dimension and see all values.
Hi Team,Reaching out here for basically a 'Product enhancement' so as to help client leverage the Alerts functionality(within Analytics) better. The ask is to trigger an alert(notify a registered user on the client side) when the current day's data falls by more than a particular percentage(say 30%) when compared to the same metric number for the same day last week. For example: We would like to compare today's visits data(Tuesday) with last Tuesday's data.Based on my understanding, this cannot be configured based on the current set of available configurations. Feel free to add to this if necessary.Any thoughts/ideas/workarounds are most welcome.
Current Issue: Right now, users (non-Admins) are limited to being able to share items (projects, segments, calculated metrics) to individual users one at a time. This means that if a user wants to share out an item to their entire team, then have to manually "check the box" for each individual team member at a time. When accounts have 100's of users to select from, this is quite a laggy process and time consuming, and not the most efficient or streamlined method. Only Admins have the ability to share items to user groups, which is not efficient either.Proposed Idea/Solution: All users should the ability to share out items (projects, segments, calculated metrics) to their entire user group (team). Users will be empowered to share items to their teams, which will save them time, and enable team collaboration. This will de-centralize the functionality so that users don't have to ask Admins to share out components to their user group. Please note that users should only be able to share out
I would like to have a way for Workfront to allow for a visual timeline of selected tasks and milestone. A graphical representation of those tasks selected. ‚ Timeline needs to answer: Portfolio wide, when are things ending? When can we start a project? A timeline for all the projects. A timeline for each separate project.
I would very much like to be able to make the Company field a required field. Also the ability to make Client Portfolio, Group, or Program/Campaign required. Basically, any of the fields within the Overview > Project association section.
When inside of a task, ability to go back to the same location in the overall template view without having to scroll all the way back down (to a lower task, for example) Users are asking for some sort of functionality which brings them back to the last place (section) they have been rather than the default of back to the top. This behavior persists for projects/templates.
Task #'s don't pull through by default when exporting - makes it difficult to reference when reviewing exported timelines.
Being able to click on an "Open Summary" preview (like you can in the Timeline level when you click on a task) at the reporting-level (or other objects potentially) would make things much easier to be able to easily view and respond without having to leave the report view itself. (Rather than opening a new tab or having to go back to the report every time)
Looking for a way to control the default view setting so that timelines with more than 100 tasks automatically show all tasks without having to choose “all” from drop-down
The feature inside Analytics called Views Mobile Scorecard is a nice way to create mobile dashboard and it instructs curators of Adobe Analytics data on how to configure and present mobile scorecards for executive users. Video Tutorial: https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/analytics-learn/tutorials/additional-tools/analytics-dashboards/adobe-analytics-dashboards-in-app-experience.html?lang=en Doc: https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/analytics/analyze/mobapp/create-scorecard.html?lang=en Could you please implement this feature using Single Sign-On? At the moment this feature is not working with SSO. Benefits: Analytics users can use this feature with SSO
Anyone else find it strange that when you select specific folders to include in a report the old program icons are still used?
Can we please have report capabilities so that reports are segregated by task level, project level, etc? It is hard to capture information in report when things dont all fall under task level for example
