Description When the description field is in a dashboard and the description text is very long, it's very difficult to scroll to the next item. It would be nice to keep the field but also be able to just see a preview of the text; maybe just show about 200 characters (like a short tweet). Why is this feature important to you I avoid adding too much detail to the description field because it messes up our dashboards by displaying ALL the text. I would like to use this field as it's intended instead of adding it to the Updates section and then having to find it later. My boss ends up using this field like a subcategory field depending on the project. How would you like the feature to work Allow multi-line text fields to only show a preview of the text in dashboards. Would be nice if we can customize this to a set amount of characters but if that's not possible, "tweet length" is good. Current Behaviour If the description field is showing in the dashboard
Description - It would be great if you could turn on preferences to allow for time entries to require a comment. This feature would be best utilized if you can diversify WHAT types of time entry require comments. As an example, certain hour types we create could require comments and others would not. Or project owners could determine if comments on their projects are required or not and have the ability to turn that on at the project-level or even turn it on just for specific tasks. Why is this feature important to you - We have certain scenarios where comments are required with no current way to actually force that requirement. It's a lot of admin/manual work to try to review project time entries to see where comments weren't added and trying to enforce this without some system tools to support it isn't really going to work well. How would you like the feature to work - Allow for a preference that allows requiring comments on time entries within the preferen
Currently, when users are using only their laptop screens or have minimized dashboards, they are unable to tell if full report information is showing. End users are thinking the data is incorrect on the smaller screens. @daniellefr1
Description - I'd like the option to associate a workspace visualisation, or several visualisations to an Adobe Analytics Alert. I'd like links to these workspaces to be included as part of the alert. Why is this feature important to you - As well as the alert being forwarded, I'd like to be able to easily get rich context associated with the alert from pre-created workspace views. I feel the 'Analyze Further' CTA does not offer this. How would you like the feature to work - When creating my alert, I'd like the option of being able to select from my workspace views. The links to these views would then form part of the alert forwarded from Adobe Current Behaviour - There is no option to associate a workspace visualisation to the alert, within the alert itself there is a 'Analyze Further' CTA, but this appears to be quite generic, offering limited insight
Would be great to see keyboard shortcuts aside from the navigation ones. These would be handy: activate campaign delete campaign approve/unapprove (emails, lps) clone move (or cut/paste)
Description We'll be using Workfront to to project management the development & delivery of live events. The date of the event is the core of the project and our tasks need to adjust based on that date. This means we need tasks before AND after the event itself. For example, we have an event on 8/20. The project needs to kick off 15 days before (so 8/5) and we need to pull data 3 days post event (8/23). Right now we'll be manually calculating the project end to be that 8/23 date so everything aligns which isn't ideal. Why is this feature important to you? Even though the project is complete, there are still project wrap up tasks that need to be done. Our projects will have 2-5 minor tasks post completion so it's not worth creating a whole post-launch project to resource. How would you like the feature to work? I'd love to see a Schedule Mode option that allows for task both before and after the selected date. Something like "Project Launch" or "Release Project". Current B
I just read an idea from 2016, 5 years ago, that applies to the same issues I have now in November 2021! 5 years!?! What is the hold up Adobe? 1) Fix your calendar and give us the ability to do year over year comparisons with percent change that applies to the entire report and not one metric at time. Which by the way, that won't even work on top line metrics you have to create segments for yet more work-a-rounds.2) We need the ability to filter metrics.3) We need to be able to schedule automated reports that will give us the option to return the entire data set and not just a portion of up to 400 rows.4) The automated monthly calendar sends for sending reports at the end of the "fiscal retail calendar month" does not work. With those 4 things alone, the way workspace functions is almost to the point of being ludicrous.
Description - I don't have hours every day to sift through ideas to see if my problem is already "in ideas" to up vote it. I'm wasting my time. We need the ability to go to ideas to see if they are already suggested or to suggest a new one based on the menu structure of workspaces. Give us a menu structure exactly as it is in Workspaces and let us click on the one we need to search or suggest for, an example, have a "Send File on Schedule" button. Any one with issues or ideas for that one specific area could choose that one to search or post to. Why is this feature important to you - I don't have endless hours to search through ideas to see if any of my issues/ideas are already suggested so I can upvote them and then if it's not to suggest my idea as a new one. I also don't have the time to try to figure out how someone else might have "worded" what I need to find. How would you like the feature to work - I would like to have ideas set up so that there is a st
We currently think about how to provide overviews for tasks and thought about the kanban board in the team structure. The idea was that the team manager can take a look at the kanban board to quickly get information about who and what status belongs to a particular task. Unfortunately, the kanban board does not automatically reflect the statuses of the tasks which are "stuck" in the backlog so to say. It would be nice if the kanban board automatically reflects the task status and shows it visually on the board. The other option is to create reports on that, but i would have been convenient.Best regards,Sebastain
I'd like to be able to use Scenario Planner at a weekly level. The current functionality of monthly is still too high level for our business and makes it difficult to accurately use the tool. The ability to create scenarios at a weekly level would allow us to accurately adjust our projects and plan out resources. The funtionality doesn't need to be different from the current monthly planning, just an adjustment to time frame.
Description - This option is currently unavailable and we would like it to be available. Why is this feature important to you - We have Groups who want to prevent their users from entering time on Projects, some that do. We need to have that flexibility How would you like the feature to work - Make it not greyed out Current Behaviour - It's greyed out. I am assuming that this is in the roadmap somewhere, but I would love to know if and when this will occur.
Would be great if the we could change the height of a stacked bar chart report or any chart report, currently it look way too cramped on screen and even worse when you have the values showing. A setting within the report allowing you to enter a desired height of the report would be beneficial.
Not sure why you can't move a folder (even an empty one) from outside of a program INTO that program. You can move other assets into a program (smartlists, etc), but not folders.
Description -I would like to submit a feature request to allow Adobe Target users (client admins) to have access to model monitoring dashboards used in personalization-based campaigns, e.g. Auto Target, Automated Personalization, so that as a customer/user, I can see when personalization models have been built as well as model performance, e.g AUC, etc.
I would like an automatic way to be alerted of when our a/b tests have hit statistical significance. Currently the process is manual. We use the confidence calculator to predict when a test hits statistical significance and put a calendar reminder to check-in at the appropriate time. We also monitor our activities. However things come up (like PTO, absence/sick, job transitions, trainings etc). Current state is not a scalable process when we have many a/b tests running across multiple workspaces and have multiple report suites. We have an activity tracker where we put all of our details from our tests plan in it and use as our source of truth. However, we are in Target and Analytics frequently. I would normally try this through creating an alert, however lift and confidence are not standard Analytics metrics so you cannot choose them when creating rules in the Alert Builder.
Description - Currently system admins can restore full documents or document proofs that were deleted from the Recycle Bin within 30 days. Individual document versions cannot be restored. Why is this feature important to you - Users accidently delete document proof versions that had comments and then we cannot restore them so we lose the proof comments How would you like the feature to work - I would like to be able to restore individual versions from the recycle bin within 30 days just like full documents Current Behaviour -Individual versions cannot be restored
Description - Why is this feature important to you - Users do not like the autosave feature. They have multiple timesheet entries to make and the autosave slows them down How would you like the feature to work - Preference is to have a save button as it was prior to the implementation of autosave. one option is to have an option to disable autosave in setup timesheet preferences. Current Behaviour - Users have multiple timesheet entries to make each day. Time added waiting for the autosave to complete is slowing them down.
It would be really helpful to be able to associate/assign a channel/project to one or more Programs(Campaigns) or Portfolios(Marketing Plan). Since some projects/channels relate to more than one campaign, it would eliminate the need to create a duplicate and allow for visibility in both places. Example: Lets say we have a Seasonal/Summer campaign that also shares creative with a weekly campaign or initiative. Currently, the work would need to be in only the Seasonal or Weekly project/channel, not both. It would be great to have both, with the ability to make updates/changes in that project/channel in either Campaign.
When working with calendar reports in the system, it would be great if you could search specifically for events that you are looking for on the calendar. This could function similar to the filter (funnel icon) in reporting in the new experience that allows you to on the fly drill down to entries.
Some of our teams have requested the ability to freeze one or more columns in Workfront when using a Custom View where the columns are numerous enough to require horizontal scrolling. Having the ability to do this would make it easier to reference related data that may be scrolled off screen. Similar to an Excel "freeze panes" function where a user can select a column or group of columns to "freeze" so that all scrolling information still retains its category.
Think Excel. It would be great to be able to freeze the first column (or columns even) if you have a report with lots of columns. That way you could horizontally scroll, but keep the important column(s) at the beginning and frozen as you scroll over. Also if you fix that horrible breaking when there a too many columns, that would be awesome as well.
The new delegation of tasks and issues functionality is exciting, but I believe many users will find this first iteration impractical. It would be a rare scenario for us to have a user delegate ALL of their tasks and issues to one single person - who has time to carry the full workload of another user? Instead, it would be much more helpful if users could delegate tasks and issues on an individual, project, or program level.
Description - Assigning a default dynamic report suite on the analysis workspace dashboard, for the cases if the user viewing doesn't have access to the default report suite configured. Why is this feature important to you - It allows to prevent creating 1000+ views of the same dashboard for the case where a of users have access to a subset of data and would like to view these subsets of data dynamically based on their assigned roles. How would you like the feature to work ---> When a user views a dashboard and he doesn't have access to the default report suite set when the dashboard is created. Default to a reportsuite that the user has available. Current Behaviour - When a user views a dashboard and he doesn't have access to the default report suite set when the dashboard is created. Default to "Unknown Report suite"
Ability for outlook calendar schedule synced in wf calendar could be tied to workload balancer to take in the utilization of meetings schedule through outlook.
Ideally we would like Gcal to sync with WLB to ensure that client meetings are taken out of available capacity. Why is this feature important to you - assists with our capacity management and ability to have accurate avails for the team How would you like the feature to work - Create a meeting in Gcal > select WF meeting > integration syncs with the individuals personal calendar and/or reduces capacity Current Behaviour - manual process to include meetings in projects to enable a view in WLB
