At the most basic level: allow users to breakdown dimension values in one table based on selections in another table. Why is this feature important to youWhen a breakdown is applied to dimensions in a table, everything is locked to the items or positions within the table. This would allow me to link the values in a breakdown table to specific items in other (hidden) tables. Two examples:I break down a Cities dimension the top 10 pages for each city. But what if I want to see the Visitors and Visits to the top 10 most overall viewed pages for each city, but I don't want my table to include pageviews, only Visitors and Visits (because pageviews by city isn't relevant in this case). Currently I would need to individually select top 10 viewed pages, and break the cities down by these. But the sorting will be based on Visitors or Visits (and not guaranteed to be in the same order as overall pageviews). Another example would be creating 10 tables, one for each of the top 10 cities w
Currently, Datetime field types in general (including lead fields and not just custom objects) are limited to be filtered in a smart list by date and not including time.We use a custom object for our webinar (through a webinar provider). Within the custom object there is a field called "Registration Date". It has a "type" as "datetime" When I view an object I can see the time stamp. However when I run a smart list based on the webinar object fields, I am unable to use the "time". Our use case is that we want to capture true no-shows for a webinar so we need to be able to filter people from the time the registration date within the object. So if the webinar started at 9:00am on 4/15, we would do a Smart list filter to say give me all leads who registered before 9:00am on 4/15/19 and have no views of the webinar. Those are the true no-shows.
The in-built workfront calendar has a limit of 20 projects that you can add. Please remove this barrier as we can't use the calendar functionality for planning and seeing an overview with these limitations.
Description - I need the opportunity to send data from a Target activity to more than one AA report suite. Why is this feature important to you - We are an umbrella company that owns, operates and manages many businesses. Each business (and subsequently website domain) has a different AA report suite and AT workspace. We also have a "global prod" AA report suite that everyone in the headquarters office uses regularly and houses all data from all businesses. Since I run the AT program across the organization, I send data for all AT activities to the global prod report suite since that makes the most sense, efficiency wise. This means however, that the businesses do not get to access their AT data anywhere since they only have access to their specific report suite. How would you like the feature to work - I would like this drop down to be a multi select list and allow me to send activity data to all relevant report suites for that domain and activity, not just one.C
Now that custom forms can be used by multiple object types, we need the ability to specify if a field should be shown/hidden on certain objects. For example, a custom form that is used for Requests and Projects may have certain fields that are not required when submitting the request, but need to be required to populate when converting the request to a project. Currently the only solution is to copy the form and go back to having separate forms for different object types.
It would be beneficial to be able to assign ownership of risks for continued tracking and accountability.
It would be great to be able to use the asset expiration functionality in bulk and simultaneously set the expiration of assets across programs in bulk.
I'd like to have some sort of autosave or recovery option for Fusion scenarios so that if you are working on a scenario and a browser issue occurs, you don't lose all of your work when you refresh the page. Either an autosave feature, or some kind recovery mechanism similar to the way MS Office or Linux does where it hangs onto the temp file you are working from and offers to load that temp file for you on the next time you try to load it.
Current Scenario -1 single company - comprising of separate Groups by accounts(departments..). There can be common resources working on both the Accounts (part of both the groups) we will called them as "Shared Resources", this feature works fine by having User be part of the 2 groups (Home Group A and Other Group B)However there can also be a situation where there are resources who are meant to work EXCLUSIVELY for 1 specific Group (User's profile comprise of only 1 GROUP i.e. his Home Group), in this case, the system will still allow the select this user on a project belonging to other group (assignment of task) because this Exclusive Resource is still part of the same company as the Project Owner. Currently there is NO SUCH option to restrict assignment of work in a situation where Users belonging to SAME COMPANY, but unique GROUPS have ZERO access to each other (creation of virtual Partition in between Users within same Companies through GROUPS).
Approvals are a great feature within Workfront. Unfortunately, in their current state, their usability is limited. We are requesting improved options and flexibility for approval processes, including: 1. Specify actions (eg status change) to be taken if APPROVED. 2. Increase available options for REJECTION and APPROVAL - eg, change status, add an update, prevent edits, etc. 3. Add comments to rejection issue created (currently, they only appear under project updates instead of in the issue created by the rejection). 4. Add the ability to hold the project/task/issue status at a certain level until the approval has completed. 5. Make approvals an automatic, and enforced, predecessor of project tasks being ready to start.
Before we started using Single Sign On (SSO) to access Workfront, there were notifications on the login screen. These were system notifications from Workfront indicating possible issues with Workfront or notifying the users that Workfront would be going down at a particular time. Now that we use SSO, we don't see those notifications, because we don't have a login screen. Is the a way you can put those notifications on a banner on the user's landing/home page? That would be very beneficial. The banner could go away automatically after about 10 seconds, and the user could manually close the banner.
It would be great if a pop-up could be made that would prevent an approver from closing out a proof without making a decision, once they have provided mark-ups.
When I have a bar chart with a grouping/X axis using custom quarters, it doesn't show the quarters sequentially, it shows them in alpha order. This naturally screws up the order of the bars in the chart. Example, it's showing in this order:Q2 2022Q2 2023Q3 2022Instead of what it should be:Q2 2022Q3 2022Q4 2022...Even if I were to put the year first and then quarter - 2022 Q2 - it would still show out of order. This needs to be fixed so grouping by quarter works!
Our teams are desperate to have an easy way to select a task and automatically contour its planned hours over time for all assigned users. We want a quick way to input that "this task is front loaded/back loaded/bell curved/flat" and have the planned hours automatically spread themselves over that distribution rather than having to fiddle with individual users or manually re-calculate planned hours and resource capacity. We find that the Workload Balancer doesn't allow us to do this simply and reliably enough.
Would be great to be able to rename image files and the related URL.
We are reliant on naming conventions as we have a shared instance globally. We have adopted naming convention by region and without this, we cannot accurately filter, report or pull analytics. We would like the ability to enforce a naming convention structure by company i.e. | UK | EMEA or | INA so that this always tags on the end of any request, task, project, portfolio or program that is created.
Being able to add time-based announcements to request queues so when certain teams fielding those requests are experiencing higher volumes, or have a larger project prioritized. If this rich text field could be part of the "description" field in request queue projects, and something that could be toggled on and off, that would be ideal.
As a user, I want to add Outlook meetings synced to the Workfront Home > Calendar to projects and / or my timesheet (General Time if not assigned to a project). in order to avoid re-keying meetings as tasks or timesheet time in Workfront.System Functionality Idea: ability to click on an Outlook Meeting in the Workfront Home Calendar that allows you to create a task in a project (pulls the meeting name and duration) or transfer time (duration) to a General Hour Type.Value: this will minimise the need to switch between systems and increase time in the Workfront platform for the source of all work (incl. meetings).
Need to add page navigation capabilities using keys. Scrolling should be possible using arrow keys as well as page up/down keys. Currently, cursor keys or page up/down keys do not work for scrolling. Same thing with Home/End keys not working to move the cursor to beginning or end of input line.
The Calendar View on the home page shows a week at a glance. Our users would like to have the option to see a month at a glance as well.
It would be great if we could hide the bottom +Add More Issues so users only have access to the top New Issue button. We don't want people o assign other users issues/tasks and we get more info for the top issue button.
The business case automatically picks up any custom form already attached to a project, which is then automatically added to the exported business case (pdf). We have custom forms attached to all project templates, but the information contained in these forms shouldn’t necessarily be included in a business case. Whilst I have seen there’s an option to remove a custom form in the business case view, this though removes the custom form from the project, along with any data already present, which isn’t great. We have a unique custom form created for the business case fields we need that aren’t already part of the standard Workfront build, but we would need the ability to remove any other custom form from being included in the business case export, but without removing it from the project entirely and the data already present. Without this functionality we will have to resort back to a Word based business case template, which would need to be attached to each project in Workfront, which i
Currently no way to print a custom form in a meeting-friendly format. Screenshot and print is the only workaround, but that doesn't have a polished look.‚
DescriptionToday I received multiple reports from people in my organization complaining that they didn't get their weekly reports mailed to them. It seems that there was an issue listed in the status system which likely caused the issue. Now, at this point you are thinking this is more of a complaint about the failure... it's not.... what comes next relates directly to improvements that would make all our lives easier. When I checked my Scheduled Projects area... I noticed a few things...there is nothing in my "failed" filter (I assume this is because this relates to flat out failures, not temporary failures?)There is no way to see the "last sent" date/timeThere is no way to tell if the reports are delayed (and will send once the queue catches up) or or today's report failed completelyThere is no way to re-send reports from this interface (an no link to the reports) - so if I need to resend 30 reports, I have to go and find them all individually and send them one at a t
When you enter a job role, Workfront will populate people that have that primary job role. Our Marketing team wears many hats, but WF will only populate their primary role, so if they enter "Web Admin", only people with that as their primary will show in the suggestions. There should be a way for any role assigned to a user would populate that users name when the job role is assigned to a task. Ex - Andrea's main job role is as the Assistant Marketing Director. She will be the designer of an ad that will go out in a few weeks, but if she selects "Design" as the job role, her name does not populate because it is listed under her "other roles", not her "primary role".
