AEM Forms + Data Model Integration by Imran Khan Abstract This blog will help us to get over all idea around RESTful API (AEM servlet), Swagger File, Data source configuration, data form model and integration with AEM Forms. AEM forms work like a charm as there is no single line code change required to create and integrate same with RESTful web API’s. AS part of this blog AEM forms will submit data to AEM and load or prefill data in form on page load. This blog will work for both AEM as an AMS and AEMaaCS. It will allow us to create AEM forms and integrate with Form Data Model. We are going to achieve below flow as part of this blog. Create RESTful API (AEM Servlet having sample GET and POST method). Swagger file to read document, build and consume RESTful API’s created as part of first step. Data Source Configuration helps us to consume RESTful web API’s with the help of swagger file. Create Data Form Model using Data Source Configuration helps us to use it as schema in various
Unlocking the Potential of Content Fragments in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) by Divanshu Goyal Abstract Content fragments in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) can be a saviour by providing a way to manage and reuse content across multiple channels and touchpoints. Content fragments allow content authors to create and manage chunks of reusable content that can be easily integrated into web pages, emails, mobile apps, and other digital experiences. This can save time and effort by eliminating the need to manually copy and paste content between different channels, and it can also ensure consistency and accuracy of the content across all touchpoints. Key points to understand content fragments : 1. Reuse and consistency of content: Content fragments allow for the creation of reusable chunks of content that can be easily integrated into web pages, emails, mobile apps, and other digital experiences. This can save time and effort by eliminating the need to manually copy and paste content betwe
AEM Vs Drupal, Which is Preferable for Enterprise Users? by ZaranTech Abstract The breakthrough in technology and the ubiquitous need for delivering customized web content have made it pivotal for firms to accept the web content management system for all the right reasons. It begins with engaging customers, lead generation, to snowballing total profits from different systems. Nevertheless, it can be daunting and tricky sometimes for businesses to choose the appropriate one as per their requirements based on the diverse features and potential CMS offers. One of the prominent reports by Gartner states that the Web Content Management Magic Quadrant report has proclaimed that Acquia Drupal, Adobe Experience Manager, and Sitecore are the three most prominent WCM Managers. These three are at the forefront of Gartner’s report based on the two variables majorly, “ability to implement”, and “completeness of vision”. They undoubtedly outmatched both these parameters and hence it does without
AEM JUNIT5 with io.wcm.testing.mock.aem.junit5.AemContextExtension by Sourcedcode.com/ Abstract Exactly what is io.wcm.testing.mock.aem.junit5.AemContextExtension? -> io.wcm.testing.mock.aem.junit5.AemContextExtension enables you to mock a in-memory AEM JCR, exactly like the AEM instance. When mocking the JCR instance, you can imagine that this is an empty JCR, with no nodes inside of it, so you will need to use Java to add resources in the mock JCR repository. Services like the pageManger, tagManger, resourceResolver, etc… will be available in the mock JCR instance. io.wcm.testing.mock.aem.junit5.AemContextExtension is an extension for JUnit 5 that allows for running AEM (Adobe Experience Manager) unit tests with mocked AEM objects. It provides a way to set up an AemContext object in a JUnit 5 test class, which gives access to mocked AEM objects such as the ResourceResolver, SlingSettings, and more. This makes it easier to test code that interacts with AEM without requiring a runn

We are excited to announce some important updates released to Dynamic Chat this month that we think you’ll find useful. Picklist support in Info-capture card In one of our customer meetings, the customer raised a question - "Sreekanth, how do I give my visitor an option to select from 20 choices? For example: Job title". That's a valid use case and valuable feedback, don't you think? So, we launched support of picklist in info capture card. Now provide your visitors to choose from multiple choices up to 100 😃. Date & Datetime fields are now supported in Information Capture Now Infocapture card also supports Date & Datetime fields. Marketo Integration page, select and sync date or datetime type attributes to make them part of Infocapture card in your dialogue. Most users know that Marketo usually retries email sends for 24 hours.[1] If neither a fully-successful nor fully-failed SMTP transaction can be completed in that time, the email will Soft Bounce. But what does it mean to “retry for 24 hours”? Are there tens of thousands of attempts, the server retrying right after the previous attempt fails? (Yikes, no.) Does it try every hour on the hour? (Also no.) You don’t need to think about this every day. But the question comes up occasionally, and it’s good to have at least a rough answer. For example: sales complains that a contact didn’t get that day’s cast. After way too much hold music, you find the contact’s IT team disclosed mail problems earlier in the day, but they’re now resolved. The last entry in the Activity Log is Send Email. How do you intuit what Marketo is doing under the hood and give a prediction for when they might get that still-queued email? Last thing you want to say t
Working with a client recently I noticed something quite interesting about bot detection and the impact on open rates. If you are using bot detection in logging mode, any email open that is done by a person AFTER also being done by a bot will not be recorded. The rationale is simple, perfectly reasonable, but still very frustrating. Marketo records one and only one open per email per lead. Normally this is exactly as it should be. However, if a bot opens the email first and you are in bot detection logging mode, then THIS is the open that gets recorded. If a person subsequently opens the email, then this does not get recorded (it's not the first open after all). As best I can determine, there isn't a way around this other than to either turn bot detection off OR use bot detection in filtering mode. My particular use case We were looking into Click to Open ratios. To counteract the effects of the filtering issue, we
I'm trying to find some master list of compatible HTML/CSS with Workfront reporting. How far can you go? Can you use javascript potentially? I'm going to leave a list of coding I have found and how I use it, if you have anything to add, please leave it below! HTML: <a href:"link here">Click Here</a> (Not particularly useful, you can create a functional link tied to a field using other code. This is just possible to do) <b></b> (Bold) <i></i> (Italics) <strong></strong> (Defined Bold) <em></em> (Defined Italics) <div style="element: value;"></div> (Container that can be used to add CSS by adding an inline style element) <font></font> (Can add style elements to font like color, size) <p></p> (paragraph) <br> (line break) <hr> (line break with a visual line) CSS: border: value type color; border-radius: value; (used to round off border corners) background: color-value;
I can see the contexthub in preview. However, when I go to targeting mode, the "Start targeting" button is disable? The contexthub is in the page custom header sling code and all the context hub default setting seems fine. See images below. "Start Targeting" is disabled. I am using the release 2.1.2, main branch.
I want to query the total results obtained on a certain list of content fragments from GraphQL. Would that be possible in AEM GraphQL?
Hi,According to our recent investigation Template editor does not work on pages created under /content/campaign.AEM injects code into the markup that makes the page incompatible with the editable templates. By decompiling several java classes, I found that pages under /content/campaigns are processed by AEM differently than other content pages (path.startsWith("/content/campaigns") found in AEM's code).Investigated on AEM 6.2. Is there a hot-fix / feature pack fixing this issue?Thank you.Best regards,Gyorgy

Did you know that you can use date-based wildcards to dynamically filter dates and times in your reports?Wildcards are useful for rolling time periods, such as dates happening this month or looking ahead a few weeks. There are two Workfront wildcards for dates—$$TODAY and $$NOW. Make sure to type them with the two dollar signs and all capital letters (or they won’t work).$$NOW refers to the day AND time at the moment that you load a report using this wildcard. This wildcard works best with Greater Than and Less Than qualifiers. $$TODAY refers to the current day (starting at midnight), but not the time. This works well with general timeframes that don’t need to be based on the exact time at which you’re looking at the report.Once you’ve entered the wildcard, you can use attributes, modifiers, and operators to get any date you want.Let’s walk through an example together. Start by creating a filter on a task list where you look for Planned Completion Dates between today and the
