I have added a container on the site page and in that container I have inserted an image for the background as shown in the snippet. The problem is that when this image is rendered on the page, the url created for the image is as follows: "\2f content\2f dam\2f project-name\2f cmp-home-page\2f image.png" whereas the URL should have been "/content/dam/project-name/cmp-home-page/image.png". Other than these background images, all images' URLs are fine. Though there is no problem in the image and it's rendition but when I search for the same image URL, it shows 404 error. I want to know why only background image URL is being changed and how can I correct it.
Why do you download Adobe Analytics data to csv and analyze? This was the top question I’ve received during a recently concluded Adobe Analytics Champions' Tips & Tricks Webinar. During my sharing on Cohort Analysis so you don’t let your digital marketing campaigns fall in the cracks, I showed examples of sharing your findings to the rest of your stakeholders for them to understand and take action based on those analytics insights. Indeed, there are multiple ways to visualise your data for the best storytelling to compel business decisions. Here are powerful visualizations that you can do without leaving Adobe Analytics workspace. 1. Time Series Using Line Graph When is it most suitable: Tracking a campaign daily based on a last touch channel. This is especially important for digital campaigns optimised for website visits (for LinkedIn) or landing page views (for Facebook) to see whether your ads are gaining traction based on the media buying objective. There are other time
Digital Analysts, if there are other members of your team often neglected in the analytics workflow, those are your designers— whether graphic, web, or UI/UX, they are key players and would benefit from your insights and analytics recommendations too. All in a day’s work as a digital analyst involves a bunch of collaboration with your digital marketing, ecommerce, as well as commercial and operations team. But step back and you’ll see that your design department is more than just a creative factory. Here are three ways to engage your designers and how to structure and qualify your data for the right-brained people in your team. 1. Graphic Designers: What makes users click? Your graphic designers make the lasting first impression with your audiences. Banner ads, marketing collaterals, social media, and other creative assets that you invest are fashioned by their creativity. Engaging them takes more than just letting them know that creative A has the best clickthrough rate (CTR), whil
“Why do my landing page views or website clicks on Facebook or other channels don't match with my Adobe Analytics data?” This is one of the most asked questions when it comes to analytics and attribution. And the answer? It NEVER would. Before we dive into that, I want to establish the difference between website entries and visits. Imagine your landing page as a house, the entries are those who entered through the front door; while visits include those who came from the windows, fell from the roof, brought by the wind through the back door, and any other portal. Entries are typically lower than visits. Though the difference is not massive, I recommend entries for campaign-specific insights, and future reference or benchmarking which we will need in discovering these mysteries in digital analytics. Why Use Entries vs Visits? I believe the entry metric is a more objective measurement of a landing page’s performance. It represents how many entered the front door directly from your digit
Wonder how to embed digital analytics in your content marketing strategy? Involve your team's wordsmiths in the analytics workflow! As writers crack their brains to come up with the best copies for your socials, publications for your website, catchy phrases for your EDM—they must have insights on which copies made the audiences click, stick, and pick too! The same way you need to engage your designers in digital analytics to amp their artistry, here are insights and analytics that you can share with your content makers and why: 1. Social Media Trends Which content clicked? Aside from the graphics, ads have captions and different themes. We are aware of the importance of tailor-fitting copies based on audiences, geography, and campaign phase; as analysts, we see the trends. But were your writers aware which copies they penned for decision influencers worked? Is it the one with humour, the one containing novelty, or the one on thought leadership? Adobe Express identifies t
This blog post was inspired by the following question: Q: Is it on the product roadmap to update Table Builder to act more like Ad Hoc Analysis? Where the breakdown items for Days can be expanded to more items? For example, if I'm running a monthly analysis with daily breakdown, I'd want to see more than the first 5 days of the month. So, this is a problem that I'm sure many (if not most) of us have faced. Table Builder is good for somewhat small reports, but it is a little limited... For this reason, I tend to take more time building out my reports manually so that I can have a little more control. So, let's start with report that uses a daily breakdown, and generally these types of reports will set to a default date range, such as last month. Of course, we'll all aware that months range from 28-31 days; but more than that, sometimes your consumers will want to see a longer time frame... so I'm going to show you how to build this out so that i
Hello, I'm following the WKND site tutorial for Intellij (https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/experience-manager-learn/foundation/development/set-up-a-local-aem-development-environment.html?lang=en) and am having a similar problem as this fellow had: https://experienceleaguecommunities.adobe.com/t5/adobe-experience-manager/npm-error-running-pautoinstallsinglepackage-clean-install/m-p/379777#M15222 Following the above answer's advice, I made sure to download and use the latest stable node version via nvm. I'm on a Windows machine with node version 16.17.0 In Intellij's maven window, using the profile "autoInstallPackage" and attempting to run the "install" lifecycle, I get the following. Please advise, thanks! Additionally, in the Intellij video, the author navigates to https://repo.adobe.com to attain an XML settings file which he later adds to his maven settings, but when navigate to that address, I get a 404. Unlike more traditional script development, where you can use debugging tools to step through your work, writing Velocity scripts in Marketo, particularly complex ones, can be frustrating as it's challenging to get feedback and make the little tweaks that often lead to resolving those tricky bugs. One trick that I like to use to help with this process is having a Static List of test records ready to go for use in Previewing a sample email (or Landing Page) with the misbehaving Velocity Token. Here's the code from the previous post that goes through the (sadly uncommon) field where the Person's favorite ice cream flavor(s) information is tracked and adds a line to the email referencing it. And this script works for our very limited use case where we only care about three flavors and aren't concerned with similar variants like "vanilla swirl" that might make our "contains" function behave incorrectly. Now I'll do the unthinkable and purposefully break the To

AI in marketing is the use of customer data, machine learning and other computational concepts to predict consumer’s action. With AI, businesses can create great marketing analytics techniques to focus on the potential customers. This may help digital marketers feed customers with the right content on the right channel at the right time. Why is AI Marketing important?AI Marketing allows marketers to crunch huge amounts of promoting data analytics from social media, emails and website in relatively faster time. Moreover, the insights they get in an exceedingly shorter time-frame help marketers boost campaign performance and return on investment (ROI) faster. This offers marketers and businesses longer to specialize in other equally important tasks.76 percent of consumers expect companies to grasp their needs and expectations. AI marketing will help content marketers understand who exactly their target market is, thereby creating a private experience for customers/users. How to

Attention has limited reserves that won't be deployed in the case of a mundane or insufficiently rewarding task. That’s when Ad Fatigue kicks in or your digital marketing campaigns underperform because the ad serving wasn’t reinforced enough. What Are Three Antidotes for Ad Fatigue? 1. Ad Format: Variety is Key! At least two creative versions are recommended—ALWAYS. This way, the machine can serve different ads to various audience types which improves the reach overtime. This will also ensure that each audience will see multiple creatives, so if they don’t resonate or click on one, the machine can serve the other. Below is an example ad serving frequency for the span of 15 days of the campaign, and another set in the remaining 15 days. Why is this important? This approach of having variety improves the mileage of your ads, as well as the clickthrough rate. Lastly, multiple creative types will lead to varying volume of website visits. 2. Optimisation Obje
