Hi everyone, As part of the Adobe Journey Optimizer September 2022 release, a new capability was launched to help you create dynamic content and to adapt the content of your messages based on conditional rules. Dynamic content allows you to adapt the content of your messages based on conditional rules that can be made up of profile attributes, contextual events or audience segments. Conditional rules are created using a visual rule builder within the Expression Editor, where you can store them for further reuse across your journeys and campaigns. You can learn how to create dynamic content and how to work with conditional rules with the help of the following resources: Documentation: Get started with dynamic content How-to video tutorial: Create dynamic content with the condition rule builder Please feel free to reach out through the below comment section in case you have any queries or feedback.

There’s a well-traveled Forms 2.0 JS snippet from this Developer Blog post that gets copy-pasted all over: MktoForms2.whenReady(function (form) { form.addHiddenFields({ _mkt_trk: "" }); form.onSubmit(function (form) { form.vals({ _mkt_trk: "" }); }); }) And it works perfectly for its intended purpose. The problem is people may assume it does more than it promises to. What it does The code above takes advantage of a quirk — not a feature per se— in the Forms 2.0 JS library to ensure that the Munchkin cookie value is not included in the form post. (The cookie is called _mkto_trk, while the corresponding form field is _mkt_trk without the o.) By omitting the cookie, you don’t associate the current Munchkin web analytics session with the Email Address on the form. This is critical when creating a Referrer Form setup, or in any other case where you don’t want to change the associate
As soon as opening a page in edit mode, a component has been disappearing from content tree. As a result I was unable to add component to the page and author.
Is it possible to add updates (notes) to projects using the API? Can the updates be added at the task level as well?
Hi All,I am doing a deep dive on how the "Select Panel" tool works. I can't find much information about it and am stuck.I've been examining the WCM Core Components Tabs/Carousel/Accordion that use "Select Panel". These use a "childeditor" resourceType, which means that authors pick components in the dialog. I want to create a component that has sections with an optional hidden layout container. "Select Panel" is then used to select which is active similar to how the Carousel or Tab bring a specific panel into view. For this experiment, I created a coral3 multifield dialog with a Title, Text, and Container checkbox. If checked, a container is inserted (resourceType='wcm/foundation/components/responsivegrid').I was able to register the component to panelcontainer, but I can't get it to do anything. This is where I am stuck:1) How can I pass the Title field as the Component name instead of it's defaulting to "Layout Container"?2) It doesn't move, select, or re-order. It acts like it might,

Did you know that you can rename a grouping within a report so that it makes more sense to your organization’s terminology? Or that you can group the results by a field not listed in the grouping field source list? This week, we continue our focus on basic text mode. Why text mode? Workfront reports can be customized to meet your organization’s needs, sometimes going beyond what is available through the report builder by using text mode. Text mode unleashes the full power of Workfront’s reporting capabilities, unlocking your data in ways that make business sense to your organization. With text mode, you can combine columns or access a wider variety of fields, including your custom fields. A few weeks ago, the Workfront Wednesday: Did You Know? blog detailed basic text mode filters within a report. To build on that and expand your knowledge of basic text mode tips, this week we’re sharing two examples of basic text mode groupings for beginners. It
For those of us Fusion folks, it would be useful to have some sort of additional resource with a deeper dive on the tool. And, perhaps, even "simple" things which take us a while to figure out on our own (example: "How do I set a filter on a scheduled execution to start on a specific date?", "How do I parse out plain text from a rich text field?" etc.). I love Fusion 2 and the bootcamp training was essential in my ability to create useful Scenarios for Workfront automation. However, it feels as if the additional educational resources are missing. And, to be honest, trying to find that information on this website is less-than-easy. Just my $0.02. -j

Hello - I'm wondering if anyone has done this. We have a report where we're pulling the average turnaround time for issues but we want to exclude some outliers that are skewing the numbers (requests that took much longer than they should have and we want to remove from the report). We built a custom field and used this calculation to allow us to ignore those that have higher than 20 days turn-around time: IF(WEEKDAYDIFF({entryDate},{actualCompletionDate})>20,"FALSE",WEEKDAYDIFF({entryDate},{actualCompletionDate})) Then we filtered on that field in the report. This works but we're being asked if we can just exclude by a percentage instead such as 5%. Is there a way to do an average and then exclude a certain percentage, Perhaps build off standard deviations or criteria? Any thoughts would be welcomed. Thanks!
Hi guys! I'm putting together a PPT presentation on Workfront Agile (Scrum). One of our groups works with an agency and the agency is trying to convince them to use another tool rather than our current tool (Workfront). I need a slide or bullet points calling out why Workfront Agile is better. Anyone have anything? Thanks in advance.
Do you have several tasks within a project that you need to have organized in a specific or sequential order? Did you know that adding a predecessor to a task can help in projecting the project timeline and estimate when users need to be available to work on the assigned tasks? A predecessor is the task another task (called a successor or dependent task) depends on. When a predecessor relationship is added to a task in Workfront, as long as the task constraint of the dependent task is set to As Soon As Possible, the project timeline automatically recalculates, so you can quickly move forward in planning the project. You can automatically create predecessor relationships on several, selected tasks in Workfront—rather than manually creating one on each task—using the chaining tasks feature. Example #1: The Product team is developing a new line of caffeinated tea for the holiday season. The following tasks have been added to the project tim
Hi folks, We've just released a new version of our Enterprise Stopwatch solution that now (optionally) will show (and search) each Task's parent Tasks, for context. In doing so, we are aware (thanks to user feedback) that for some patterns of work, it is common practice to configure Tasks in repeating phases, as follows and as per the screenshot below: Out of curiosity, I'm interested to learn how common this practice is, so would appreciate your insight: is each Task name In your Projects unique, why, and does it cause any drawbacks? This has confused me for a while. In my latest example, I have a task with an As Soon As Possible constraint. That gives it a start date of April 25, 2023. I input a duration of 6 months. The way I count, that means it should finish on October 25, 2023, but Workfront calculated October 9, 2023. Any ideas what's going on? The only thing I can come up with is Workfront is calculating 6 x (4 weeks) instead of 6 months by calendar date.
Hi Everyone, I am interested in talking to people in marketing organizations about the key players in your organization and the way you hand work from one person to another during a campaign. While I am technically the Workfront researcher at Adobe, you do not need to use Workfront to be included. In fact, I really need to find marketers who DO NOT use Workfront but do use other DX products. If you're interested in speaking with me, please sign up using this link: https://calendly.com/wf-product-and-design-research/marketing-work-orchestrationPlease note that we may need to schedule a follow-up session depending on how much we get through in your first sign-up. Additionally, if you know of any other team members within your marketing organization who you think would be great for me to speak with, please let me know and/or feel free to add them to your sign-up! Thanks, Elissa
Ever had an urgent request pop up regarding some obscure email fired out from your instance? Things are going wrong and you need to fix it! Quickly! We all have. We have all also had the anxiety of trying to track down this offending email with little to go on (especially if it's using a subject line that gets lots of action!). Some of us can solve this problem by placing a cleverly hidden program ID token in our emails' footers. However, some of us cannot place this token in any visible area due to brand guidelines (it's a thing, I promise). So, what do you do then? The easy answer is to keep doing what you're doing in stealth mode by using a program ID token as a homing beacon! Instead of trying to make your program ID tokens invisible in the displayed output of your email messages, you can completely hide it within the email template coding so that it does not display at all. How do we do this? Update your email templates with an html comment
I recently opened a ticket with Adobe support re: HA and disaster recovery options for AEM 6.5. Unfortunately, the engineer I spoke with didn't have much experience with it and referred me to some documentation, and said support could not assist with the configuration. I found this odd, especially given the official documentation. I imagine it's likely others could have questions about it too. Looking over the doc, I'm almost certain I will have questions. This doc: https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/experience-manager-64/deploying/deploying/tarmk-cold-standby.html?lang=en seems like it makes the most sense for our on-premises AEM 6.5 TarMK (file data store) based instance. The instructions are somewhat complex/involved (I'm a little confused by the crx-quickstart/install config files for the standby instance instructions). I recall earlier AEM 5.x clustering was not recommended and maybe did not work properly? Does anyone know if the above cold standby config is supported / recom
I am repeatedly running into the following problem with edit rights on Adobe Analytics projects and segments: For projects there is an advanced sharing feature, that distinguishes between edit, duplicate and view-rights. For segments there is a basic sharing feature only, that is similar to the duplicate mechanism of project-rights-management. This leads to the following reoccurring issue: I share one of my projects with a colleague and grant him edit rights. My colleague needs to be able to edit the project in all its tables, table filters, segments etc. However, the project contains some segments created by myself. As segment based edit rights do not exist, my colleague always has to reach out to me in order to adjust the segments. Or to be more precise, all colleagues will have to reach out to me (system administrator) if they share dashboards with colleagues and run into the same issue. After contacting Adobe Customer Care, they suggested granting system administrator rights to
I've attempted to share an item in someone's inbox with another user. It shows the "Shared with other user(s)" icon next to the item but when I click the share button again it doesn't show who it was shared with and the person I shared it with does not see the item in the their inbox. I also tried impersonating the person the task is currently assigned to but cannot seem to share it as the dropdown to select a person does not ever populate. so two things: why does the sharing not seem to take? why can't users other than admins get results in the user dropdown to share tasks or inboxes?
We have a new release for the Adobe Journey Optimizer product for October 2022. For detailed update on New Capabilities, Improvements, and other changes, check here: Release Notes October 2022 Release Improvements The Force reentrance on recurrence option has been added in recurring read segment schedule parameters. A message was added to the user interface to warn that subdomain, landing page subdomain, PTR record and IP pool configurations are common to all sandboxes and thus any modification to one of these configurations will also impact the production sandboxes. The steps to upload the suppression list as a CSV file from the user interface have been modified. You can now archive completed and stopped campaigns. Find the detailed release information here: Latest Release Feel free to reach out in case you have any questions and/or feedback through the below comment section.
