Session Details [Level: Beginner] Adobe Experience Manager Forms has released many exciting new features on Cloud Service. For forms developers, there is sometimes a need to leverage custom scripts and third-party JavaScript libraries to enhance the AEM Forms user experience. In this session we’ll show you how to use client libraries and take the scripting out of the hands of Form Authors, allowing them to easily select functions needed to perform advanced calculations, date manipulation, and custom modal windows. We will also showcase our latest innovations with Headless Adaptive Forms, where you can author a form once and use it in multiple channels including web, SPA app using react, and customize the react app. Our product experts will demonstrate how to use the same form for data capture experiences in interactive channels like WhatsApp – so you can make forms work the exact way you want them to. Like many here, I renew my Marketo certification every 2 years to keep my credential valid. This November was my 3rd time taking the expert exam and my second time renewing. In 2021 the Marketo expert exam got completely upgraded and this time around the champions and power users were involved in writing the test. Neat! I heard that around 60 hours of time from each participant went into planning and writing this exam. Crazy if you think about how much work is required for a project like this. Knowing this, my first gut reaction was: What has changed since the last time I took the exam? Well….quite a few things. 9 to be more specific. Here’s what I could surface: The name. Since moving under Adobe, the certifications got renamed to match the tiers in Adobe. The MCE is now called ACE-MEBP which stands for Adobe Certified Expert - Adobe Marketo Engage Business Practitioner. The test booking process. The whole thing is managed via th
Authors: Brian HawkinsOver the years, we have gotten many requests from customers asking for clarity around how best to use Adobe Target Audiences and Locations when setting up Activities via the Visual Experience Composer (VEC) or Form-based creation. This video will share best practices and explain how best to leverage the functionality. Originally published: Feb 15, 2022
We all know it. Our activity logs are a mess. We have tons of data to sift through whenever it’s time troubleshoot, and headaches to go along with it. But it doesn’t have to be that way. It’s time to make your life just a little bit easier. Keep reading and I’ll show you a way to help break up the activity log and call out your processes. The only limits here are YOUR creativity when creating your call outs, and your judgement on how often to apply this (hint, be judicious). First, take a few minutes to pick out some of your most complex processes and/or those that you routinely need to search for when troubleshooting or doing evaluations for your users. Once you’ve identified these processes: Take a few minutes to create a helper string field(s) that you can use for each of them I like to use something like "Admin-Processing-Note". Add the new field to the beginning and end of your flow(s). At the beginning of each process you can kick off with a
In this spotlight series, we interview @Katja_Keesom, who is a Community Advisor for the Marketing Nation Community. Katja is a Senior MarTech Consultant at Chapman Bright BV, based out of Oosterhout, The Netherlands. Read her spotlight below to learn about how she got started in Marketo, her advice for Marketo novices, and more! What was your first job? After university I was actually looking for inspiration and worked at a Tobacco wholesaler for a while, before starting a role as Analyst in the Commercial department of DHL Express. That proved to be the environment I would do well in, as I stayed with the company for more than 20 years. How and when did you get started with Marketo Engage? What was your first role and initial reaction to the platform? At DHL Express Netherlands, I had been in a database marketeer role for several years, without any automation tools. I don’t give up easy, so leveraging tools like Excel and SPSS I managed to get some

I love seeing all the great content and idea sharing that happens here. I have tried to "like" posts that help over the past couple and days and nothing happens. I have been able to click Like and have it register but something seems to have changed. Is anyone else experiencing this? (I may just need to clear cache)
We are exploring possibilities of migrating Oracle WebCenter Portlets (JSR 286) into Adobe Experience Manager. Could you please share your experiences and ideally, share any documentation, whitepapers, etc?
I am considering using React and Next.js for AEM headless. The following page has an example of Next.js usage, is this a remote SPA example? https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/experience-manager-learn/getting-started-with-aem-headless/how-to/example-apps/next-js.html?lang=ja Or is it possible to automatically generate files from ui.frontend to ui.apps like React's SPA Editor even when using Next.js? (How will SSG/SSR files be handled in AEM?) https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/experience-manager-learn/getting-started-with-aem-headless/spa-editor/react/integrate-spa.html?lang=ja

Is there a way to copy selective assets, from one or more folder/subfolder hierarchy, in bulk and paste to a new folder location? I am looking for a feature similar to MCP Renovator. Please suggest if something can be done using an excel file.

Communication and collaboration within the context of work is an essential part of an Operational System of Record. Historical project communication should be stored as part of the project plan for the purposes of performing a project retrospective or even passing an audit. Workfront provides robust, native collaboration capabilities as well as the ability to integrate with best of breed collaboration solutions like Slack and MS Teams. Most Workfront users have probably intuited the ability to start threaded discussions on projects, tasks, documents and other work items via the Updates area. Users have the ability to invite other users or entire functional teams into these threaded discussions. However, there is not an option to tag an entire project team in threaded discussions from the Updates area. What if you want to send an announcement to all members of the project team? One example might be a change in project scope that the entire team needs to know about. Using th

Hi, This might be a browser related issue but I thought I should still ask the community. I noticed this behavior on Chrome and Edge browsers, but not on Firefox. Auto complete / auto suggestion disappears on window scroll when using Firefox browser. When authoring aem dialogs, when I click on any fields, auto complete / auto suggestion appears with values that were previously saved which is fine, but the issue is that when I scroll the window without selecting the suggested values or click away, this suggestion box doesn't disappear on window scroll. Any thoughts or solutions? Please see screenshots that may help you to understand what the issue is. Your help is greatly appreciated! Thank you.
On a recent webinar a system admin with Disney shared that they refer to their Workfront instance as R.O.Z. (like from the infamous curmudgeon from Monsters Inc.) How fun is that? Would love to hear if any others have adopted a new name for Workfront as well!
[UPDATE 1] - In we-retail project, I was authoring a Tab component. Inside the Tab component I added multiple Image components, Teaser component etc. When an actual image is dragged into the Image component, the parsys became un-clickable. After some random try, I was able to click the component but the inline editor tools (edit, children-selector, copy, paste, parent etc) were not appearing.I am attaching a video link for better understanding : https://www.loom.com/share/8488882368d6403bbf486f340b9b8a10 [UPDATE 2] - while investigating the previous issue, found some some glitches which may be related. The overlay for the 2nd image component somehow duplicated and copied to the top-left corner and remain invisible. And preventing selecting other component's parsys (preventing any click). Attaching 2nd video link : https://www.loom.com/share/547d13c3147a4865bd796b1beaf10587 I am using the non-cloud version of AEM.AEM version number : 6.5.14We.Retail version : 4.0.

We recommend that all Marketo LP templates have a place for page-level, just-in-time JS and CSS: <div hidden class="mktoText" id="pageBehaviors" mktoName="Page Behaviors JS & CSS"> That’s where you put stuff when the client makes a last-minute request and you can’t change the global template for fear of side effects, nor are you comfy modifying shared Design Studio .js and .css files linked in the template. In theory, you’d fill that Page Behaviors JS & CSS container like so: Ah, but that won’t work. After clicking Apply, Marketo simply discards the <style> element! The <script> element, in contrast, is supported. (Yes, it’s wrapped in old-school commented-CDATA but it works just fine.) Plus there’s a wrapper <div> added by default.[1] So you end up with this: That’s, er, problematic. But there’s an easy solution. First, include this JavaScript in all your templates: <script> class

It's been commonly requested for a long time that Workfront add a "Last Viewed Date" parameter for Dashboards to help identify abandoned dashboards. Typically, identifying abandoned dashboards has been done by making a Report report, filtering by the Report last viewed date, and including a collections column of Dashboards in the report's view. You can then assume that if a report hasn't been viewed in over a year, the dashboard(s) it appears on also haven't been viewed in over a year. This approach works fine, but it can be tedious because you have to look at the names of the dashboards in the view, then go manually search for and delete them one by one. The below approach is to instead create a Dashboard report, then use an EXISTS statement to only return dashboards that contain at least one report that hasn't been viewed in the indicated span of time. This allows you to bulk select and delete all the dashboards at once. Filter: (replace 1y with whatever timeframe you
