Being able to delegate approvals is great, but we sometimes have more than one person covering the work of the person who is out. It would be great if we could delegate to multiple people and whoever is handling that project would pick up any approvals that go with it. Or if we could create a team and delegate to the team, the appropriate person would take each approval.
Description -I would like to use Selected Virtual report suite in Data Warehouse. We can use normal VRS in DWH.However Selected VRS, we can’t use.Why is this feature important to you -We would like to control accessing for data , dimensions and metrics same as Workspace.Currently, we control the access data with segmented VRS.And we set up selected dimension and metrics in VRS.Because of data security policies. We also would like to control to using DWH with the same policies. How would you like the feature to work -I would like to use Selected Virtual report suite in Data Warehouse.Current Behavior -We can't use Selected Virtual report suite in Data Warehouse.
When a parent task has children that are cancelled, we should be able to reflect this by being able to change a parent task to cancelled. This will be more of an acurate reflection than how it currently is shwon; as a completed task. What would be even better would be to be able to change a parent task to cancelled and then this auto-cancel any remaining children tasks.
When I share an object, whether it's a project, report, view, or otherwise, I'd like to be able to add a short comment for the recipient(s) of the share notification to provide additional details about what is being shared, where to find it, etc.
I'm stealing this from Microsoft SharePoint, but it would be great if there was a spreadsheet mode on the task list for a project. This would allow us to copy from excel (if the columns matched) and would allow us to copy things like Duration, Assignments, and Planned Hours from one task to another task easily.
Three years ago there was a request to make logging time mandatory prior to a task marked complete. As a project manager who needs to look back on time spent on efforts to calculate future effort within a portfolio, I am curious why this is not considered by the community an important enhancement? This is critical to capacity planning of work effort and needs to be revisited.
Many Analytics server applications are now offering 'embed codes' for custom web apps. This works by clicking on the dashboard. A dropdown comes up with embed code that includes a custom iframe or script +div code. Tableau, Domo and others are now offering this feature. The embedded code in the web app will prompt you to log in through SSO, keeping the data secure. Adobe Analytics should incorporate this feature for use in custom applications. We are building a simple reporting dashboard and were surprised that Adobe doesn't have it. In fact Adobe blocks any attempt to host a chart when the source URL is not the same as the host. If you look at this article it provides a really intuitive experience with a GUI for users. This one is best in class: https://plotly.com/chart-studio-help/embed-graphs-in-websites/
Description - In the Flow visualisation, when you mouseover the steps' dimensions, the visualisation expands to show the individual dimensions in each step. But the "Eventual Path" / "Next Hit" line is above these dimension listings. Why is this feature important to you -I consider this to be basic user experience. Reading from top to bottom for each step, the visualisation should first show what that step comprises of. After that, then the "Eventual Path" / "Next Hit" can be shown to "link" that step to the next step. The current behaviour forces the eye to move back up to see which of "Eventual Path" / "Next Hit" has been selected for the next step. How would you like the feature to work -Move the "Eventual Path" / "Next Hit" to after the dimension listings. See graphic.Current Behaviour -The "Eventual Path" / "Next Hit" are before the dimension listings.
As 'Out of Office' reply was not accepted - how about implementing functionality which appends a message after the user display name? A simple on / off setting plus three input fields (start date, end date, message) are all that are required. If setting Out of Office =- true, then set display name = first + last + "(" + message + ": " + start date + "to " + end date + ".")Does not need to check dates etc - just concatenate the contents of the fields if the setting is on.
When a project status is "Planning" and a user or team is assigned to a task, and an update (comment) is added to that task, the assigned receive an email notification. We would like them to only receive a notification if they are specifically tagged. Our project managers like to add notes that will be relevant when the project is Current, and do not want anyone alerted to these updates beforehand.
I recently found out you're not able to export Account Lists from Marketo ABM. The workaround is having to create a smart list using the 'Member of Account List' filter and isolating/de-duplicating the accounts upon export. Being able to export specific account lists within Marketo ABM would be very beneficial, especially when teams need to evaluate them and decide whether to add/remove accounts.
The API documentation needs to be improved overall. There are things missing from it, and there are references to v4 and v5, without notes about whether or not they're still relevant. It's hampering our integration efforts.
In Classic view when opening a Team the default page that was opened was the Current Iteration. In the New Experience it defaults to ALL Iterations. This is useless and causes an extra click for no valid reason. It should default to the Current Iteration as it did before. Or better yet, allow the customer to choose the default page (via settings).
Hi Marketo team. I was reading many forums that share my frustration with having to pick one sharing platform when creating a video to use in marketo if we don't want to embed. I would like to see a way within that creation for a "disable sharing" component or simply let us uncheck all the social sites! I think I speak for many users that do not want their videos shared beyond their target audience and this would help immensely!Thank you!
One of the main topics in terms of acceptance of the NWE is that the task description and the updates are divided into two tabs.My colleagues keep referring to Classic, where that was possible at a glance. Please find a solution to display the update stream at the same time as the description again.
Description - The date selector in Workspace should float and follow you as you scroll up and down a panel. Why is this feature important to you - My Workspace panels often get quite long and I often have to check/change/remind myself of the time period I've selected. It can be annoying and time consuming to scroll right back to the top of the panel to find the date selector. Having it floating at the top right corner would be fantastic as I could just glance at it at any point in the project to check the date range the project is currently set to, or amend it.How would you like the feature to work - The date selector in Workspace should float and follow you as you scroll up and down a panel.Current Behaviour - Date Selector is fixed at top of workspace panel
We often have projects where specific tasks in the workflow are not always needed or we may discovered they are needed half-way through a project. In these cases, we would like the ability to have pre-set steps in our Workflow template that would only be activated when needed. For instance, we sometimes receive a request for a product that may need committee approval. This task is not always needed but if we add this task into the Workflow template then it is automatically activated when applied. The user has to delete the task when setting up the project which then causes some additional rework for the predecessors and tasks. At times we have gone through the work of removing the task to then find out it is needed later on in the process. We then have to enter a new task and update all the predecessors again. It would save time, effort, and allow for consistency in the task naming if the task could simply remain but be activated when needed. If skipped it would not calculate into the
Hi, I have a problem. We have set up lead gen form in Marketo and the submissions for these forms from LinkedIn to Marketo are working fine. Fields are mapped, all good. Problem: I have set up a trigger campaign that says: Person is created filled out form = lead gen form fills out form = lead gen form and then a flow step to change some data values Issue: The leads that are created via API lead gen form do not flow through this campaign. I dont understand why? The campaign should check if a person is created and filled out the form then do the flow step but it does not work. If I create a filter campaign with the same criteria I find all of the newly created leads and can perform the flow. I dont understand why this does not work with a trigger?
It would be helpful if there was a Core data element that returned the value of the Launch library "Name". This would make it easy to set the value to an Analytics eVar for debugging purposes. We name our libraries using the Major.Minor.Patch versioning convention and it would be helpful to know which Launch library a website visitor was using. Sometimes after a new library is published it seems like some visitors may have the old library cached in their browser. If we could capture the library "Name" as an eVar, we would know this for sure.
This is something most Adobe users do not know nor expect nor does it make much sense: Marketing channels have a rolling 30-day expiration, whether a channel was touched or not. Tracking codes have an expiration based on when the variable was defined. https://helpx.adobe.com/in/analytics/kb/comparing-tracking-codes-and-marketing-channels.html "Expiration differences: Marketing channels have a rolling 30-day expiration, whether a channel was touched or not. Tracking codes have an expiration based on when the variable was defined. For example:The campaign variable is set to expire after 30 days; your marketing channel visitor engagement expiration is also set to 30 days.A user arrives on your site via the tracking code promotion3, then leaves. They come back three weeks later without a tracking code or marketing channel, and exit the site again.Another three weeks later, they come back without a tracking code or marketing channel, then make a purchase. The user ultimately made a
Description - The current ACS APIs available does not provide a way to fetch the deliveries and workflows informationWhy is this feature important to you -1. There are some features like heat map which is available in ACC but not in ACS and it can be built if the workflows execution information can be fetched through API in Firefly project but the API isn't available2. Currently in ACS there's not quite a lot flexibility in terms of what information can be displayed (limited to available dimensions) on Dynamic Reports. A lot of times it's needed to generate a custom report about the deliveries like number of sent, delivered, bounced, opened, clicked messages, etc. and display that on the UI outside ACS similar to dynamic reports. There isn't any API related to Deliveries. How would you like the feature to work - Exposing Deliveries and Workflows data via APICurrent Behaviour - API does not exist for workflows and deliveries.
Content Fragments are now used widely in AEM project majorly in headless and hybrid model. But still there are some features that can be added in content fragment that can make it more valuable:1) Use of Multifield. Currently the multifield works fine when there is one level of child but for some cases we require multlevel multi field that does not work fine as it works in the component level.2) Live Copy Inheritance in Content Fragment is not supported.3) Asset level versioning shows the version number , it should also show the date of version so this will help to track the exact revision as well.4) Dialog level clientlibs instead of override dam.cq one for dialog level events.
We'd like the ability to add/customize the sections in our project templates, then have those sections carry over to the projects that are created from the template. My understanding is this is not an option in NWE currently. (The sections can be added, but do not carry over to the resulting projects.) This would help us reduce the amount of dashboards pinned at the Layout level and allow us to be more selective about which sections show on different project types.
Most of the clients that we are working with use expense object to create PO or Invoice. They would like this information to be printed. Currently, only project, tasks and Issues are available to be printed. We would like the expense custom forms to be able to be printed.
We'd like to see a way to restrict access to view more sensitive data based on your role setup in Campaign. For example, birthdate is not something we would want everyone to be able to view.
