We would like to provide Program Managers with more access, but right now there is no distinction between Portfolio & Program security. Having this separated security would help allow us to have our Program Managers have a stonger role.
We have seen our organization use workspace widely. And a power user has lot many projects created. Currently workspace doesn't support any folder management and it has a plain search to find the report. And this makes it difficult to access projects in future when it is required. It also reduces the visibility of Admin shared projects. As a result, users within org end up creating their own projects to answer their questions instead leveraging admin shared/authorized projects. Net-net, this also pulls down org efficiency
Description - our intranet site visits from http://intra are reported a referring type = "Typed/Bookmarked instead" of "Other Web Sites" , although when using UTM codes and looking at the previous pages we can definitively see traffic pages from the intranet site (actual intranet pages showing up). I wonder if because there are no "." in the "domain", AA does not consider the visits as coming from another website (no valid domain as per rule established) and just default to "Typed/Bookmarked".Why is this feature important to you - data consistency / we monitor portions of traffic coming from our intranet. How would you like the feature to work - When there is a previous page known, the referring type should be Other Web Sites when not pre-established as an another type such as Search Engine.Current Behaviour - intranet traffic reported as Typed/Bookmarked
Description - com.google reported as referring type = "Other Web Sites" instead of "Search Engines"com.google is apparently how google searches on android devices are reported (app?)Why is this feature important to you - Clean data instead of using filtersHow would you like the feature to work - com.google to be reported as referring type = "Search Engines" Current Behaviour - com.google reported as referring type = Other Web Sites
With the new experience you removed true hyperlinks in the quick search dropdownI can no longer click to open the desired link in a new tab. Instead I lose where I am because the link opens in the current tab.Seach in nav > dropdown > click to a resultRequest: any link i can click that leads to a new URL should be a real hyperlink so I can open in new tab
Description - Having identified that the Feed Setup screen is inaccurate in statting the time to run an FTP is GMT we have realised that our file has only been loading half records. Why is this feature important to you - This is the second time we have had issues with the feed failing first time as it had stopped running and this time since the clocks change in October we have not been loading our full recommendation feed. How would you like the feature to work - Either via a bespoke interface or via back end processing send an email to the core account team when a) the daily load does not run or b) then the number of items in the feed falls or rises above 10% of the previous days numberCurrent Behaviour - No current alerts for issues with feeds.
Currently a team, group etc are assigned to the user. Can you also have it so roles can be assigned/ linked to a team. This will mean that resources scheduling and capacity planning can be done even if tasked arent assigned to a user as it will allow for reports or filters to search for roles in their team that are unassigned rather than looking by role by role, For complex projects and organisation this is essential.
I would love the ability when setting up repeating deliveries to set a FILTER of the raw data set that is applied when the report is delivered. would allow me to use $$USER as requested here I could shrink the report timeframe (last 2 weeks) when to orig report is set at 4 weeksI could further exclude rows that don't pertain the to recipientsI'd imaging a filter UI in an overlay that is tied to a particular scheduled delivery.Generating the report would simple ADD additional filters (and this additional filter would not support OR - that would get real messy quick)
Description - When hiding or otherwise removing elements as part of an MVT activity, the location becomes invisible in the Compose view and cannot be hovered over or clicked on, which makes it uneditable. Why is this feature important to you - Showing and hiding content is important as part of an MVT experience if you are trying to identify the parts of the page that add or remove value. How would you like the feature to work - The location could have a minimum height set. Or there could be a sidebar similar to the Preview view that lists the Locations on the left for renaming or editing purposes (this would be consistent with other types of activity experiences)Current Behavior - Right now if you are hiding an element (e.g. display:none) as part of an MVT activity, when you go into the Compose view there is no way to see, find or edit the location content.
Hi Marketo,I would <3 to be able to use a more extended range of emojis in emails , apart from unicode. I see other email marketing tools out there support the whole range of emojis and we could really use it in our communications. ✉️
I am facing a request where a client would like us to send them a report/list of the campaign members in a program each month. They would like it to be sent to them automatically to save time. The problem is that the email goes out the first of every month at 9am. The report/list subscription offers a send at the first of the month, but it would go out before the email so the report/list would be empty. It would be great if there was an option for me to send at specific date and time like an email program so I could send the report/list automatically.
Although proof comments are displayed in the updates stream of the document object and parent object, if a user edits their proof comment, that is not reflected at all in the updates stream. We are aware from our support rep that other customers have requested this as an enhancement as well and we believe it would be a strong product update to consider. In our processes where content is reviewed by our Legal/Compliance partners, it is imperative that comments are reflected accurately in the updates section. Each project lead has to go through long pages to scroll through the proof for certain comments and the updates section provides a quick summary of who commented and what they said. Since edits to the comments, which could be quite different from the original comment, are not captured, this could and has led to confusion and misinformation being distributed among teams.
Would be nice to have nickname field field added. We have many Users that have abbreviated names.
We have some goals that require more wording than the text boxes currently allow. Please remove, or at least increase, the character limit for goals.
It would be ideal if the Alignment Score from the Portfolio Optimizer would feed both Workfront Goals and Scenario Planner. This would allow alignment for corporate goals (KPIs) from a Project level all the way up through Program to Portfolio Level to be realized in Goals. It would also allow not only a hypothetical alignment, but also a real one when executing what-if scenarios in the Scenario Planner. This would create an End-to-End alignment ensuring your company, or in our case group of companies stays aligned in real time across all platform.
In Custom forms, the ability to embed graphics/images. In our specific case, we have a "springboard" process graphics from our original Word-based forms to remind people of the submission prep before filing a request. Yeah, we can have a URL link to it within WorkFront, but we really want it to stare users in the face every time. :)
It would be useful if the functionality could be added so that links from system tokens, including view online and forward to a friend, could be appended with UTM parameters for tracking in Google Analytics.
As an analyst I want to be able to create metrics defined by a merchandising dimension (Product). This is important to us as we want to create metrics for everyone to use in the business and have insights on: % of units or revenue from full price products only, collections(created with Product classification) KPI's etcThe created calculated metric (example: Units metric of one specific product or merch dimension) should only return data specified by the dimension and not any additional dimension data that were on the same hit.At the moment when creating a calculated metric with a merchandising feature (example: Product dimension for Units metric), Adobe will return data for other products that were in the same order.
Description - Add a search facility in Target UI; so a search by URL makes it much easier and more productive to locate activities based on the URL especially using multiple workspaces. A facility asked by clients in support tickets. Why is this feature important to you - As a support engineer it is easier to locate activities sharing the same URL by this search facility. Good for debugging also. A search facility will really help us and customers a lot.How would you like the feature to work - Like a simple search bar e.g. search by URL, activity name, start date etc etc etcCurrent Behaviour - This does not exist at moment; which makes it very cumbersome to locate activities of interest @jason_hickey
Description - When using the Adobe Analytics connector in Power BI, sometimes there is a refresh and zero rows are returned for one or multiple queries against the API. This results in the report showing no data, especially if the query related to a key fact table/data. The API should instead error out so that Power BI fails on the refresh. This would leave data from the previous day in the report AND notify the dataset owner that their refresh had failed. Why is this feature important to you - Users going to see a report with no data is far worse than just seeing old data. We show how old the data is in a report and missing one day isn't a big deal, but having the report go blank makes it useless. How would you like the feature to work - The API should return an error if its out of resources or at some threshold limit. Current Behaviour - From a support request, this is what is happening today: “The API quota limit is 20K calls per hour per Analytics company for 1.3/1.4
Description - An AA logo indicator or label indicating type of plan used eg select, prime etc Easier for clients to differentiate which version that have or want to haveWhy is this feature important to you - I deal with support tickets and often clients are trying something but it is not part of their AA instance or enabled for their AA instance I believe a simple label and logo which links to versions urls will help a lot I could also see the marketing value in that not all practitioners know there might be more features they could use if their org paid for them. If clicking the indicator could show what they're missing, it might help launch discussions internally within customers to make the case for more advanced options. How would you like the feature to work - a logo or label that links to a URL describing AA type eg prime features etcCurrent Behaviour - only via admin menu eg company settings
Is it possible to store and use You Tube videos in Design Studio? We are building our master programs for our field teams to clone - in the master is a thank you for registering page which is built according to the type of webinar ie other assets are available on the thank you page. In the case of You Tube, we want to embed one of our corporate find out more videos, but looks like they have to be added to the program - we assume this means the asset will get duplicated every time the master is cloned and we won't get a top-line view of the asset's performance as the results will be in each program. Have we missed something or is this an idea for Marketo?
I was wondering if Adobe had any future development plans to allow a client to request a list of IDs that are currently setup in a given recommendations environment. Right now, I feel like only 2 of the 3 pieces exist to effectively manage entities. I can use the GET entities to retrieve an entity, and I can use DELETE to delete an entity. But, there doesn't seem to be a mechanism to simply get a list of ids that are present in the environment. If this capability existed, one could theoretically download the list of ids and easily do the equivalent of a full join operation (against internal systems) and easily determine if any entities were missing (and then post with a SAVE request) and entities that were obsolete (and then remove with a DELETE request).
Description - One of the limitations of using the setVar() function to create a data element rather than the Launch interface is that you have no control over the storage duration. Please can you consider adding control over storage duration? Why is this feature important to you - Improved flexibilityHow would you like the feature to work -An additional optional parameter that allows you to choose the same storage duration as the Launch interface i.e. none, page view, session, visitor For example:_satellite.setVar('product', 'Circuit Pro', 'session'); Current Behaviour -No control over storage duration of data elements set using the setVar() function
As a media/publishing company, we want to exclude all the previously viewed items from the recommendations. This is at the moment not possible out of the box. We have seen that for the Ecommerce industry there is a "Recommend Previously Purchased Items" toggle. It would be good that for Media/Publishing companies it exists out of the box for "Viewed" items.
