Currently, when you edit a global approval process that is already in use, your changes affect all objects throughout the system that are already associated with it. If you add a new approver to the current stage on an approval process that has already started on an object, the process for that object resets and the approvers have to start over. This makes it difficult to maintain updates to global approval paths without affected objects that are in progress. For example, I have a case where a team leader has been promoted to another department. I now have to remove him from an approval path, and add his successor, however there are close to 80 items that have already entered the approval path, and which will now be reset for all the previous approvers to have to 're-approve' the item. My work around is to create a new approval path, and link the queue topic to the new approval path so that any new items are linked to the new path, but it would be nice to be able to govern whet
Many entities are using Google vs Outlook as their email / calendar solution. It would be helpful to have the ability to connect Workfront to Google.
Most of our primary metrics are engagement (non-discrete). Unfortunately they are not available to be used as a primary metric in Target. Therefore, you can not use auto allocate (or auto-target) based on an optimizing things like pages views or visits.
Have something similar to what Primavera software provides, by having the ability to list steps within a task assignment and even have check boxes to mark each step as done. These would not be considered their own tasks as they all take very little time on their own but are often multiple components to completing one task - and it would be helpful to incorporate into our WF timelines. Check boxes do not affect the percent complete, they are not assigned separately, and are not required to be checked for the task to close - just a nice option in case people want to use them. A tool enhancement like this could potentially simplify some of our more complex timelines.
Currently the copy of the timesheet reminder notification is confusing and does not provide the user with good context to what it is about. It would be great if the body of these notifications could be customized, or at least if there was a better default copy. Something as simple as:"Dear FNAME,You have a new time sheet available for START DATE - END DATE.Please click here to enter your time"Currently the copy of the notifications reads:"Notification Object: TIMESHEET NAME"
We should be able to hide or disable these default options as they do not apply to the work we do. Having them always on a project confuses users when we have user-define hour types available to be selected.
When looking at the workload balancer, I would love to see (when hover over available hours of given user on a given day) on what schedule he/she is running. in a similar fashion as the information about What is more, it would be wonderful if users could ad hoc modify the working hours using "time-off" area in personal profile. For me, at the moment this is counterintuitive. When prompt says “working hours” and I see my usual working hours, my intuition says I’m modifying my schedule for today when I change both start/end time. To be honest that would be expected behaviour from our perspective to define in time-off are schedule exceptions, e.g. my schedule is 9am-5pm, but this Friday, I have doctors appointment in the morning, and will work 11am-7pm. If I want to input that information to the system, there is no way of doing this without modifying the schedule. And most users do not have access to system area where you modify schedule, because usually schedules are set up on e.g. team l
I guess, this is a bug where I always need Marketo Support: If I clone a program with tokens and I delete some tokens in the mailing, because I don`t need them here, I am not able to delete the same tokens in the tokens tab. It still says, that they are used, although the do not exist anymore in my mailing (hmtl & text version). It only works in that way: 1. unlink my mailing from all campaigns 2. unapproving mailing 3. deleting mailing 4. deleting tokens 5. cloning the mailing from another program 6. updating the mailing 7. linking the mailing to my campaigns that is very time consuming. Maybe Marketo can solve that bug.
Often times, we play around with Smart List Filters to check potential results. We build a Smart List, add filters and then check how many and/or which records are being returned. There's some trial and error here, such as "What if I removed the filter for language - does it even make a difference?" And sometimes just one filter might be pretty complex if you have some constraints on it. Now, if you want to test things by adding or removing filters, you have to remove them completely, and then re-build them if you decided you need to keep them. Wouldn't it be awesome if you could just toggle them on and off? Here's an example from the video game "Path of Exile" and its trade filters: See the toggle on the left hand side. Three of six filters are active for the current query.
"Proof failed to generate" - a Retry button. There should be a Retry button instead of re-uploading option only.
We would like to have color/highlights as a text menu option in the Updates tab. This should allow for highlighting text within the update to make it easier to see specific items. Example editor wants web team to make specific word changes, highlighting the words that need to be changed will make it easier for the web team to make the correct edit. Currently bold and italics can cause confusion of if the words need to be also bolded or italicized.
Please upgrade Report Builder to the newer API (2.0) version, so we'll have the same numbers in our report (with Report Builder) as in workspace.
Description - When you are browsing a profile. And click on the segment membership tab. There's a list of segments there. If you are using some integrations or have an external segment like from AAM for example. Then you click on the segment and get an 'Oh Snap' page. Why is this feature important to you - I would like to be able to view these segments that are external to AEPHow would you like the feature to work - I would not expect an error page. Either do nothing or link perhaps back to an external tool like AAM for example where I could view more details on the external segment.Current Behaviour - Getting an error page. PLATIR-8228
The vast majority of our users do not approve timesheets yet are stuck with having the "Timesheets I Approve" button as an interface item. Allow me to hide this option via layout templates.
Please create the ability to have project phases as well as milestoneThis will allow for roll up of all tasks in that phase ID, rather than using the WBS or task indent
The "Report" Report is a great feature! We love being able to see how many views each report gets over time to see the usefulness of the reporting we build. The one features that is missing from this is calendars. We create so many calendars which our team members request that we would really like to see if they are being used in the same way the reports are. The features I am asking for is the ability to include calendars as a report type to see various data point on the same way you would a task or project report.
Hello, I am wondering why the Search Bar of the Adobe Acrobat Reader can only be moved at the upper edge. It would be much more convenient if one was able to place it manually wherever it is most fitting, like e.g. in Microsoft Office Word. Then it could be placed in a way that it would not interfere with reading the document, for example. This would add much flexibility and comfort in my opinion. What do you guys think?
I would like for non-WF users to have access to fill out a request form.
I am recommending to add something similar to the Resource Planner that was just added to the Workload Balancer; add a setting to filter out tasks and issues/Requests that have been completed. I added this to my specific filter and found that for a specific team member the planned hours switched from over 2,000 hours for a month down to 200 hours for the month
Description -This feature helps the distributed authors be able to view tags in their localized language when they've set their language preferences as part of their user profile. How would you like the feature to work - This feature would display the localizations for tags vs the Tag Title when the Author's language profile is set to their local language and the localization is provided.Current Behaviour - The system currently displays the Tag Title regardless of user language setting and regardless of whether their is an available translation.
The ability to upload PDFs with native Acrobat comments and convert those into native PHQ comments
Copy an existing proof workflow to use new proof – would like to be able to use an existing proof workflow and copy it over to start a completely new/separate route. This is a huge timesaver for all of us since we often use the same teams over and over again.
This isn't something I'd normally think about, but I was doing some basic explanation on how Marketo works to someone and they encountered some frustration around how deleting assets work. As a general rule, if there is an approved version (for emails and landing pages) or if an asset is referenced elsewhere (such as for forms, smart lists, social assets and so on), the asset can't be deleted. That makes total sense from a development point of view, but it's disorienting for new users to not be able to understand why they can't remove the asset—they must click on delete, get the error message (that isn't clear for beginners) and then understand that they must either: a. Go to Used By, find the asset references, remove them, and then delete and/or b. Must unapprove the asset first, then are able to delete The messaging shown in response to an invalid attempt to delete today works but also assumes you understand the meaning behind it. Most new users just don't h
It would be nice to have some warning for sysadmin when a user API key is about to expire, or when it has already expired. We just had a situation where an API key expired unexpectedly, which brought down our SQL connection, and all of our reporting extracts. It would be good to have some warning on this.
Currently there is no way to have timestamps added to custom fields, Only want to do this is to track the field, and then trying to pull this data is virtually impossible without longwinded text mode calculations. When would worldwide and having multiple teams working on projects then being able to track when items gets updated, and being able to use that data to then update other fields is a Gap. For example If you have a monthly project review, and expect a Monthly update on a project, there is no automatic way to check to see if that update has been updated in the last month or not without checking every project for a tracked field and if the date has been this month. Having a tick box on the custom field to say add time stamp, then being able to report and track that, you can automate a number of reminders, and also use to help automate a number of different areas, as you have a flag that provides a point in time that can easily be pulled and checked.
