Currently if there are multiple users assigned to a single task, any person can close out the task and block all other users if they select DONE and do not further select Done with my part. The help desk called it a feature but in the real software world its called a bug.
Allow for specific users, like automation accounts (test users, API users, fusion users, etc) that are not actual users to skip the mandatory reset, to avoid having to manually reauthorize the fusion connection when a password changes.
It would be great if we could have some kind of "action button" setup that we could add to reports or the interface for one touch processes or to activate a fusion. For native processes, this would be ideal for things that currently require the user to navigate to different pages. For example, click the button to add a document and the interface would provide a popup (similar to the window to edit a task or project) that allowed you to add it right there, without navigating away. Another example would be to begin an approval processFor fusion, the button would begin whatever process is set up, perhaps adding a template item to a project, or sharing something to a connected app via the API.
Currently, we can filter by any set of "x" filters which we can toggle on or off. Such as, a task in a project with certain criteria, perhaps it for type of ad medium, print, social, outdoor. Please let us have a second, separate capability for "y" filtering. In this case, we could filter for those x filters, but then have the ability to toggle on or off a separate level of filtering. For example, let's say filter y is about geography... so we could toggle on everything in filter x, all or some of the ad medium and then decide we want to add a regional filter for any of them ... all outdoor, but only in EMEA.I realize we can do this by creating specific x filters, but we're limited to the number of filters per calendar (10, is it?) and this would extend the Calendar capability greatly.
Please let us customize approval emails so that we can include things like URL's or custom fields. This, combined with approve via email, would give executives everything they need in one email to handle an approval, without needing to learn or navigate thru WF.
It would be great if you could use the email to approve something, either by approving it with a single word in the reply, or by putting buttons within the email approval.
We are able to see the images when generated the report in Workfront. But when exported the report to an excel or PDF, images are not getting exported. Exported reports should have the images as well.
HiI would love to see the idea of enabling system admins to customize the notification content of email sent out by the system for certain events, like when a new work item has been assigned to an individual or team.Currently only the subject can be customized.
Allow Proof Reviews/Approvals to link to the Timesheet under the respective Project for which it was routed so associate(s) may track time against review/approval.
Under the "Information about Work Assigned to Me" in notification settings, there's a notification called "A predecessor of one of my tasks is completed".This notification sends to all task assignees, but only puts the primary task owner's name in the email as being assigned to the task. This is confusing for task assignees who aren't the primary owner because they get the email saying a predecessor of their task is completed, but it doesn't say their name by the task they're assigned to.All task assignees should be listed in the email notification.
Now that Workfront has implemented API names and Field Labels for custom fields, we'd like to take it one step further by having custom field labels be form-specific, similar to how a field can be required on one form and optional on another. For example - Workfront is used by Deloitte's different member firms. Across our instance, each project receives a code that is used in a different system to track time. In the US we call this a Level 4 Activity WBS code. In Deloitte Canada they call it just a WBS code. It would be great to use the same field to apply the code, but be able to customize the field label so it displays differently for each member firm's respective custom forms.
When a user currently gets logged out, it redirects to a login screen which is bad user experience. My instance is SSO enabled, so login is not required to access WF and the only current workaround is for users to remove the /login URL extension.
Scenario: Navigating to the Documents tab on project and select a folder.Navigate away from the project.Navigate back to the project (or hit the back button)Notice that Documents tab is still selected, but the folder from step 1 is no longer selected.Recommendation:Fix step 4 above so that the folder selections are "sticky".
I am having to add a template to proofs 2-10 times a day BUT, the only way I can do this is to download the files then create a new version and then add the workflow. Would love to be able just add the workflow using the already existing feature BUT it won't work because there are empty stages that I have to add specific individuals into.
The option to toggle between different languages is currently available on the desktop portal and it would highly beneficial if this functionality can be made available on the mobile app too for the supported languages.
Our IT users do not access the Support community often but periodically their access to submit cases is revoked. I understand Adobe\Marketo wanted people to search for answers before putting in cases, but my IT folks do search for answers then have to request access to submit a case, and most times I can't see them in the system to give them access. This is not a time-efficient process for us, as it takes a support ticket to re-enable them to be able to submit the original ticket. My Ideas is to stop disabling the users who have not accessed the community for a time so I can get better service from my internal support team as well as Adobe\Marketo.
Two requests pertaining to workspace filters. We have stakeholders consuing our workspaces that we do not want to REQUIRE them to change the filters we have built into a report panel. Asking them to perform A---B---C defeats the purpose of creating a self service workspace. Request 1:When a filter is added to Adobe Workspace it defaults to the first value. Can this me modified to be defaulted to “No Filter”? Request 2:
Aligning and realigning goals is a pain. If you could do it with a drag and drop interface that would make it much easier.
Can we wrap text for column headers and content in Portfolio Optimizer? My company has it's own criteria for optimizing portfolio but we can't see the information because it's cut off within the screen and if we expand the columns, it's a long scroll to the right in which we can't see the project name.
I have a huge amount of brushes in my Photoshop brushes palette imported and I spend a lot of time searching the needed by eye, would'nt it be nice to have a search function for brushnames in the brushes palette? Search by name and then shows up the brushes, that include the search phrase ... 😁
When you multi select data elements you currently have the option to , enable, disable, copy, and delete the data elements. Please can you consider adding an option to edit the 'duration' across multiple data element at a time? We recently had a situation where we wanted to alter the duration on 50+ element, and although we could filter the list to show them we had to go in to each individually to edit them which was very time consuming.
Within the custom code editor, if there is a large amount of code entered adobe appear to be dynamically loading the code as you scroll - so the whole block of code is never there in it's entirety. This makes it very difficult to search the code as the browser search functionality does not work as expected. Please can you consider adding an option to search the custom code within the editor?
Currently segments and calculated metrics can only be edited by Admins or the segment/calculated metric owner. Would like to have the ability to provide edit access to a non-Admin (similar to the "project roles" in Analysis Workspace) to allow for collaborative editing.
Workfront allows you to create custom access groups within your instance for plan, work, review, and requester licenses (with some administrative access capabilities), but does not have an option to create an admin level "read only" access for users. Having this type of access could be extremely valuable for instances that require administrative level access to view specific objects, but you do not want those users to have write access to those objects. A common use case for this is when using an API user for an integration. Due to the security risk of granting an API user full administrative access to an instance, most APIs can only have a very restrictive planner license to access the objects it needs to complete the integration flows. If your integration requires you to build out custom forms or other types of objects that you only want admins to have access to, but you also need the API to see, in the current version of Workfront, there are no great workarounds for this o
While a user is making changes to any rule or data element, autosave the changes periodically (e.g. every minute). If the user is logged out automatically – which erases all unsaved changes, the user can have the option of recovering from his last auto-saved state and pick up his work from there. The autosave does not need to create a new revision automatically. New revisions should still be made when the user saves manually.
