Are you looking for a way to automatically determine the last working day of each month in Adobe Workfront? If so, this post is for you!Challenge:Workfront doesn’t provide a direct option to fetch the last working day (excluding weekends) of a month in calculated fields. what do you guys think about these? What features in Premiere Pro or After Effects do you find most useful for adding subtitles?Have you tried Adobe's Speech to Text tool? How accurate do you find it for different languages?Do you prefer to import subtitles (SRT/TTML) or create them manually within Adobe software? What challenges do you face when localizing subtitles in Adobe tools? Are there any plugins or third-party tools you use to improve the workflow?
Embedding Audio into Multi-Page PDF I run a small Educational Non-Profit for Kids, and we are trying to embed audio into a PDF. Has anyone successfully embedded audio into a multi-page PDF? I’m looking to have the audio begin when Page 4 is opened and have it just play linearly to the end. It’s 24 minutes long, and there’s a chime in the track to cue the reader to turn the page. I’m looking for something that’s very compatible with all devices, like PDFs are. Adobe Acrobat Pro is supposed to be able to do it, (with pretty restrictive audio file size limits), but we haven’t had success with that yet. We’d sure would appreciate any tips/suggestions-please let us know! Thanks,Philiphttp://frogtowncentral.org
What AEM Upgrades to Prioritise in 2025? by @daniel-strmecki Introduction As the digital landscape evolves, Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) project owners need to prioritize strategic investments to stay ahead. With Adobe offering new capabilities and evolving best practices, clients need to decide where to spend their allocated development budgets. On large, complex, enterprise projects, not everything can be achieved at once and migrations require proper planning and execution time. Therefore, teams should prioritize features that bring the most business value but also ensure a technically stable and future-proof solution. In this article, we’ll explore key upgrade areas where AEM teams should focus their time in 2025. Summary We break down the most critical AEM upgrades to focus on in 2025, based on real-world AEM client needs: Cloud Migration – Should you move to AEM as a Cloud Service? I kind of have a Love-Hate relationship with Layouts and their Assignments.Even though Layout assignments can be done to Team/Role/Group, When you assign a team or Group WF doesnt override the existing layouts of the users. It works better when you do it to a individual user always.
Marketo uses exact string comparison (case-sensitive and accent-sensitive) to determine if fields have changed. Overall, this is great: otherwise, we couldn’t use enrichment/normalization APIs! One side effect is not-quite-real changes to fields like Email Address (which teeeeechnically is case-sensitive but must be treated as case-insensitive) are treated the same as major modifications: Likewise for case changes to First Name or Last Name, or accent adjustments like “Rege-Jean” to “Regé-Jean.” To be clear, it’s not that these changes aren’t significant[1] and obviously they must be saved to the database. And logging individual changes is harmless anyway, resource-wise. It’s unnecessary bulk changes of this sort that are a problem because they increase sync latency. One of our clients had an enrichment service upper-casing thousands of values every day, only for SFDC to switch back to the original values due to permissions. What
As many of you have read or have heard, Gmail and Yahoo has issued a variety of new sender requirements starting on February 1, 2024. Many of the initial requirements revolve around ensuring messages are properly authenticated with SPF/DKIM/DMARC, as well as compliance with Spam Complaint rates. One of these requirements include the support of One-Click List-Unsubscribe as defined in RFC 8058. This requirement was pushed out to June 2024 for both Gmail and Yahoo. What this means is, starting in June 2024, all Bulk senders are required to support One-Click List-Unsubscribe which includes having the presence of the following in their marketing messages: List-Unsubscribe-Post: List-Unsubscribe=One-Click List-Unsubscribe: <URL Unsubscribe>, [optional <mailto:>] The URL unsubscribe in the List-Unsubscribe: Must not direct a customer to a preference page Support receiving a HTTP POST response back from the receiver Process the HTTP POST respons
I would like to share with the community my discovery after experimenting with multiple solutions. In my opinion, this is the simplest one and I hope it will help others. If you are willing to add in you Dashboard a report that display a listing of hyperlinks directing to internal links such as Calendars. You are at the right place! Step 1:First you need to create a Project, in your project create a task and add the calendar link in the URL field of your task(e.g.Project > Task 1; URL=https//ZZZZ.my.workfront.com/calendars/ID > Task 2; URL=https//ZZZZ.my.workfront.com/calendars/ID2) Step 2:Go to Reports and create a Task report. In the columns (view), delete all the columns except for the "Task Name" column.Select the "task name" column, then click on "Switch to Text mode" and copy paste the code below. Remember to change the "displayname" to what you want your column title to be:descriptionkey=namedisplayname=Content Calend

I've created a situation where authors are running into permission issues when trying to move pages under certain conditions. To manage access, I set up group ACLs that limit author permissions to specific content paths, allowing them to only edit, publish, and perform similar actions within their designated regions. This was achieved by denying jcr:write and crx:replicate at the /content level, while allowing these permissions for their specific regional content paths. This setup works well until an author needs to move or rename a page within their accessible top-level path. If that page only has references within the author's regions they have access to, the move operation works fine. If that page does have references outside the region they can access, it triggers a "request to move" operation. This happens because the move process attempts to update the references through unpublishing and publishing, which they cannot perform outside of their region. I understand why thi

Mobile Core is one of the fundamental extensions in a Mobile SDK implementation and is pre-configured when creating a new mobile tags property. Within Mobile Core lives the Lifecycle extension enabling collection of installs, upgrades, launches, and crashes, along with app-centric dimensions including the app ID and device information. This mobile reporting can be used to understand your mobile app usage, popularity in various operating systems, version adoption, and crash rates. This post will explain the significance of how Lifecycle metrics, when implemented properly, gives valuable insight into app usage, and potential pitfalls that can wreak havoc in your reporting. Installing Lifecycle Metrics The first step of implementing Lifecycle metrics is to add and import the necessary extensions for calling the Lifecycle APIs, integrating lifecycle start and pause calls into the data collection functionality. Start with the Lifecycle API within the Mobile Core extension.
The sheer audacity of 3rd-party form trackers (conversion pixels, enrichment services, attribution libraries) is amazing. “Don’t worry about telling IT,” they’ll say. “It has zero side effects, just drop it onto every landing page.” Now if their code is correctly detecting and using the Marketo Forms JS API, that’d be reassuring. But in reality, most use a Marketo-ignorant — and for that matter, Marketo-competitor-ignorant — approach. They look for <form> elements in the page and at least try, to varying degrees, to listen for native DOM events (focus, change, submit) without disrupting the final outcome. This approach can easily fail. Take a certain social media conversion tracker that was causing every Marketo form to submit twice with the same data: This naturally messes up all kinds of Smart Campaigns, and even creates duplicates[1] for net new leads. How did they screw up? Here’s a trimmed-down equivalent of their code: htmlForm.addEventListener("subm

I often hear from customers saying that, "data layer does not load properly because of which I am losing out some data", "dataLayer is making my website heavy", "a lot of development efforts required to implement data layer" Well, What If I tell you that, you can create your data layer and implement on your website through Adobe Launch, no need to separately deploy it in the website source code. Adobe Client Data Layer extension in Adobe Launch helps for doing the same Introduction: This Extension provides Event, Action, and Data Element Types needed to leverage the Adobe Client Data Layer on your site. It should be used to consume data from the ACDL, and use that data for Analytics, Target, segmentation, and other marketing purposes. Prerequisites: Admin access to Adobe Launch Website on which you want to implement it Implementation Steps: Create a web property in Adobe Launch Install Adobe Client Data Layer extension. 3. Click on configure, although you do not have to make an
Recently Adobe released the AI Assistant for Adobe Experience Platform, and I have finally had time to start working with it and testing it out. After reading the blog post “AI Assistant helps optimize marketing operations by de-cluttering audiences in minutes!” (https://experienceleaguecommunities.adobe.com/t5/adobe-experience-platform-blogs/ai-assistant-helps-optimize-marketing-operations-by-de/ba-p/696002 ) I wanted to see this use case in action for myself. The use case presented is how to have AI Assistant help you find Audiences in Adobe Experience Platform that have no profiles and never been activated to a destination. I followed the questions and prompts in the original blog post. Which Audiences have 0 profiles? Which of my Audiences have never been activated to a destination? What are some best practices for deleting an Audience? Which of my audiences have never been activated to a destination and have 0 pr
Anyone who has used Marketo’s inbuilt lead nurture programs knows how limiting they can be when it comes to customizing when emails can be sent and under what conditions. In this blog post I will show you how to customize your lead nurturing to allow you to gain full control over when emails are sent and under what conditions. Before you start sending emails to your leads you should check out the Email Template Quick Start guide to make sure that your emails are looking amazing and that they are easy to create and modify so that building your lead nurturing cadences is a breeze. Default Nurturing Program The default lead nurturing program consists of streams that are populated with emails. A lead will be entered into the nurture program and assigned to a particular stream so that they will receive the emails from this stream. Email streams in a lead nurturing program A good example of where you would use different streams is for
