We are considering using business rules and would love to talk with anyone who has had success in implementing them.  What kind of business rules have you implemented?  What level of effort is needed to implement and maintain?   Any draw backs or lessons learned?

Hi,  Could you please confirm my logic is correct? I have a Trigger + 2 filters in the Smart list of a Trigger Campaign. However, I want the filters to be with OR logic between them. Since the logic ANY/ALL/Advanced applies only to filters, not to triggers, is it correct to set up ANY as logic?  I want either of those 2 conditions in the filters to be met when the trigger triggers, I don't want both filter requirements to be met at the same time. Hi All,a calculated custom field of mine is behaving like a bad boy. I have an existing lead field that contains the value for user Company Names, and with some company name ending in "Inc." we get an extra period at the end of the sentence where the token is placed.I want to set up a script token that can identify if the last character in the lead field string is a period and remove it. I've looked into substring a bit, but haven't found a working solution.  Does anyone have any suggestions?

We have two systems, Salesforce and Marketo, which are synced.In Marketo, records are synced to Salesforce based on the email address.In Salesforce, records created from Marketo are matched using the Salesforce ID.We do not have duplicate management enabled in Salesforce.We want Marketo to check the email address instead of the Salesforce ID when creating or updating leads.The process should start with a Marketo landing page or form submission.If the email does not exist in Salesforce, a new Lead should be created.If the email already exists, the existing Salesforce Lead should be updated.Additionally, when a lead comes from Salesforce to Marketo, Marketo matches it using the Salesforce ID instead of the email address.Is there any solution or configuration that allows Marketo to match leads based on the email address rather than the Salesforce ID when syncing from Salesforce?

Workfront proof now opens in a new tab versus having the close window button and returning the project. Is this always going to happen or will this be fixed so you can return to the previous window with the close button?

Is it possible to create a segment that evaluates something in the segment over a period of time that is not dependent on the filter in your workspace view?  For example, If I want IP addresses excluded that had >1,000 visits over the last 12 months without an order in my workspace view that is filtered for today.  In other words, I'm excluding those IPs today (filtered in my workspace view) that met the above criteria.

I run into this a lot and curious to see how others handle it. Even when the numbers are accurate, stakeholders will often question funnel drop-offs or channel attribution. It feels less about the math and more about how much confidence people have in the way the data is configured and/or presented.How do you deal with that? Do you show the rules and assumptions up front, compare against other tools, or do something else that helps build trust?Would love to hear what’s worked (or not worked) for your teams.

Hi,we developed one integration with Marketo Engage.By using the create email template API, we save the email templates in the folder with id=27 and type="Folder". To date, Folder - 27 is one system and default folder for all users.But in same cases we got the error: 711 - 27 Folder is not an email template folder. Why?Any help is welcomed.Thanks in advance

Can we set the format of a date field(standard or custom or Calc date field) to YYYY-MM-DDThh:mm:ss.fffZ on a report using advanced text mode? I see only below field formats available under advanced options. The one I am looking for is not available by default.  Can someone please advise on this?Currently we are trying this on a report the normal way, later we want to integrate AEM with Workfront to auto-populate this field from AEM. will there be any issue or impact later with this integration on this field formats? TIA! 

Hi, We’ve noticed something unusual regarding bot activity in Marketo and I’d like to check if others are seeing the same.In the past, certain click patterns were consistently flagged by Marketo as bot clicks. Recently, we’ve observed that the exact same type of activity is no longer being marked as bot activity, even though the behavior clearly looks automated. What’s more, we are seeing this with the same contacts where bot activity was previously recognized correctly, but is no longer flagged as such. Some of the unusual characteristics we see are:Operating system and IP address changing between clicks.Sometimes two opens for the same email: one recorded on Linux and another on Windows.The OS switching specifically between Linux desktop and Windows desktop.Page views being logged right after the clicks, which doesn’t seem typical for bots.Are others noticing this kind of behavior as well? Could this be the reason why Marketo is no longer able to flag this as bot activity?&

I'm trying to find a way to export a list of all active and inactive data sources. I've navigated to "Audience Data" then "Data Sources" within the UI, but I don't see an option to export the entities displayed there. Any guidance on how to do this would be greatly appreciated.

Hello, I am running a scenario that finds the latest update/Note on a project and posts a reply to that Note.Only when I test this, it takes over 20 minutes to process this module. If I change the ObjCode to PROJ and use the ProjectID it works fine, it's when I switch it to NOTE and point it towards the specific thread that I am getting a very long processing time. Any ideas out there?

Hi All, I'm not sure what is adding a meta tag to all pages based on that page's tags some, something like this:<meta name="keywords" content="Blogs,Workplace Security"> The problem is that, we are not adding this in our code, in fact we are overriding the head.html for all templates.This tag is only added on the AEMaaCS instances and not on local environments. Also, the tag is not inserted by JavaScript on the client side. Does anybody have any idea where to look for this?

Hello all, Is there a way to clean up the generated sitemap which is no longer required.We had sitemap generated for path /content/test/page1 and /content/test/page2 through sitemap scheduler.Later, we disabled the sitemap generation for /content/test/page2 by disabling "Generate Sitemap" checkbox on properties page. But the sitemap node(under var/sitemap) is still present. How to get rid of it.

Hello,We have detected that, in some active campaigns in Adobe Campaign, the “end date” is automatically changed to 5 days after the “start date,” despite different “end dates” being specified.We have two campaigns:First one is being configured with start date=01/01/2020 and end date=06/01/2029, and changed its end date to 06/01/2020 (5 days after the start date)The same thing happened in another campaign. In this case: start date = 07/11/2022, end date = 31/12/2025, the end date was changed to 12/11/2025 (again, 5 days after the “start date”).This behavior hinders the proper execution of campaigns, since, at the user's request, we have configured a “typology rule” that only allows campaigns to be executed if the execution date is between the “start date” and the “end date.”Thanks in advance!Mostrar menos
