Hi Team, I am trying to create sitemap.xml file for my AEM sites using org.apache.sling.sitemap Api on AEM as Cloud Service,Also i am able to genrate sitemap file, but the challenge, I am facing is I have multi brands sites on same domain,Like i have www.CAP.edu and www.SAT.eduThe sitemap.xml file I am getting from my logic is:1. For cap brand site<url><loc>/content/cap</loc><lastmod>2024-08-29T10:57:56.314Z</lastmod><changefreq>weekly</changefreq><priority>1.0</priority></url><url><loc>/content/cap/en</loc><lastmod>2024-08-30T08:33:53.617Z</lastmod><changefreq>weekly</changefreq><priority>0.8</priority></url><url> 2. For Sat brand site <url><loc>/content/sat</loc><lastmod>2024-08-30T08:55:14.693Z</lastmod><changefreq>weekly</changefreq><priority>1.0</priority></url&
I have a project that uses content fragments to hold configuration information that is being exposed through servlets. The problem I am seeing is that if I create content fragments on my local and then create a package to deploy them to the develop environment for testing, because of versioning information the UI breaks and I am unable to modify them in the develop environment. The ugly part for me is that the versioning information for the content fragments is mixed in with all of the other assets that are versioned and I wouldn't want to mix that information into a package and cherry picking individual items would be VERY painful. So my question is what would be the best way to package up content fragments into a CRX package that can be uploaded to the different environments and not break the UI so that they could be maintained after being deployed?
AEM 65 on-premise - I see the Styles are being broken when i add the component via "sly data-sly-resource" tag.example:at this component " /apps/weretail/components/content/list/list.html " am adding " /apps/weretail/components/content/teaser " with below tag. I obsereve that Style system of Teaser works fine when its being added outside with in Parsys but not when added via "data-sly-resource".Is there any extra steps/configs that needs to be done to make the styles to work.?Included component :<div> <sly data-sly-resource="${'testvar' @resourceType='/apps/weretail/components/content/teaser', decoration='true'}"></sly></div> Styles broken : Styles works in parsys :

AEM developers need frequent upgrades as a necessity to ensure that your environment remains up-to-date with the latest features and fixes. PrerequisitesMake sure to download the latest version of the AEM local sdk packageEnsure you already have a local instance of older version of AEM local sdk version.Script OverviewThis Windows batch script performs the following actions:Extracts the JAR File: Prompts you to enter the path to a ZIP file containing the new JAR file. It then extracts the ZIP file to a temporary folder and identifies the JAR file.Replace JAR: Checks if a older version JAR file already exists in the AEM installation directory. If it does, the script deletes the old JAR file and copies the new version JAR file to the installation directory.Execute New JAR: Opens a new Command Prompt window, navigates to the AEM installation path, and executes the new JAR file. The script will wait for 5 minutes to allow the JAR file to complete installation. During this time, press
Hi Folks, There are many situations (such as this one) where it would be desirable to calculate a total score from a multi-select parameter so you can then Sort, Filter, Group, and Chart the results. The Tally Technique is one way, using a "Top Three" voting example: Enjoy, and I look forward to hearing how you put it to use. Regards,Doug

Hello,Has the support for Workfront changed? We are having a lot of challenges with delays and people not understanding the situation so there are a lot of back and forth. We seem to have to do a phone call and booking a common time is not easy anymore. This is out of character for support. How do we escalate our problems? We have one open since the beginning of June. Thanks
Hello, new here and a novice AEM user. Please help guide me if I am posting this in the wrong spot. I was looking over Google's GitHub for their Server Side Pantheon solutions (specifically Soteria) and I was wondering if there is an equivalent in AEM that can do roughly the same thing (value based bidding). Here's the GitHub link: https://github.com/google-marketing-solutions/gps_soteria
Dynamic Chat is introducing a new feature called Conversational Flows, which gives marketers the ability to make any call-to-action into a conversational experience. Marketo Engage Forms will be able to integrate directly with Conversational Flows so that marketers can instantly qualify leads for meeting bookings, offer white papers in window, collect additional information from leads, and more. You can even qualify leads based on their membership in a Smart List or Static List with our Dynamic Chat Prime offering. Let’s take a look at a simple example. Let’s say I want to offer a meeting booking experience for high value contacts in strategic accounts that I currently segment on with a Smart List. In Dynamic Chat, I’ve built a Conversational Flow that I want my form to call after submission that thanks the person for their interest and offers them to book a meeting on a BDR’s calendar. In Marketo Engage, it’s very simple to setup the audience criteria for

I'm working on creating a reference report using the ACS Commons Reports tool in AEM.The goal of this report is to allow users to enter an asset path and generate a list of pages where the asset is used. The report includes columns such as the containing page, modified date, and replicated date. However, I've encountered an issue where the queries (like "contains" or "fulltext") do not search through grandchild nodes, potentially leading to incomplete results. Additionally, I need to ensure that the Page's modified date is more recent than the replicated date. Could you provide guidance on how to write effective queries for this purpose or suggest alternative approaches to achieve accurate and comprehensive results? Thank you
Hi Team, We are planning to ingest assets from GCP into AEM. The total size of the assets will be around 1.5 GB. Should we disable any asset-related workflows, such as Batch Update or DAM Update Asset workflows, during this process? We will initially ingest 30% of the assets into the AEM development environment, and then move the complete set of assets to the Stage and Production environments.AEM as Cloud service version of AEMThanks,Geo
Hi, I am working on a project that spans several years and am noticing over the last week or so that the 'Create Proof' button in the Workfront document UI has starting infinitely hanging with a 'Generating proof' status. For background, here's what I am doing as it's an API process: At a hight level, using the Workfront API (v16) we do the following steps to create an issue with documents attached: 1. Upload files -> retrieve file ID2. Create issue -> retrieve issue ID3. Create 1 document per file -> attach document to issue4. Assign reviewers In the API document create, we set the 'createProof' property as true, which kicks off the proof generation after the document is created. When Workfront kicks off the proof creation step, it never passes the 'generating proof' status. However, in ProofHQ the proof is created. We've also verified that manually logging into Workfront > navigating to the document > clicking 'Create Proof: Si
Hi everyone, I had to customize OOTB index /oak:index/damAssetLucene-11 with stopwords, some new indexRules and suggestions for AEMaaCS. I built my customization on /oak:index/damAssetLucene-11. I added tika.config.xml as well. AEM: 5 Best practices for overlays by Theo Pendle Abstract How to overlay in AEM AEM offers two ways to customize OOTB resources: 1. Overlays which allow you to re-define existing resources (i.e.: replace current behaviour). 2. Overrides which allow you to extend existing resources (i.e.: add new behaviour). This article assumes you have already used overlays and will discuss some of the best practices for for doing so. If you are not clear on how overlays work or how they are different from overrides, I recommend this article from Adobe or this helpful comparison of overlays and overrides from aemvardhan which includes a quick tutorial. How can we use ACS Commons Redirect Map Manager with IIS. The documentation for the module only lists the use of the module with Apache. The question is 2 folds:-1) Is the ACS commons module built to support IIS if yes then do we have a documentation for that.2) Will the module still work without the webserver configuration change in case IIS support is not available.

Tagging - Customize Sidekick Library in EDS for Document-Based Authoring by Arun Patidar Overview The blog post provides a detailed guide on customizing the Sidekick Library in Adobe Edge Delivery Services (EDS) to include advanced tagging options for document based authoring. The existing tag plugin in the Sidekick Library only supports flat tag lists, while the advanced tagging feature introduces hierarchical tags, making it easier to manage complex tag structures. Key Highlights: Existing Tag Plugin: The current plugin supports simple flat tags that can be copied and pasted into documents. However, it lacks hierarchical structuring, which is often required in complex content management scenarios. Advanced Tag Feature: The advanced tag plugin uses hierarchical data authored in Google Sheets and exposed as JSON. This JSON is then converted into a hierarchical format to display tags as a tree structure in the Sidekick Library. It allows users to search, sele
