Hi All,We have a requirement to download asset in original file format without zipping the file. Suppose if we try to download the jpg file, it should be downloaded as jpg files format itself. Could anyone suggest any way to achieve that ?

I have a custom component that relies on JCR order for displaying assets (specifically, Content Fragments) in a particular order. The order should be customizable by Authors.In AEM 6.5.6 and prior, the assets could be ordered in the List View by drag and dropping a handle at the right hand side of the list – as long as the parent folder was set to "Orderable" (i.e. had a "sling:OrderedFolder" type in JCR).However, after upgrading to AEM 6.5.7 (Service Pack 7) the handles are no longer visible.They appear to be hidden via a CSS class, possibly related to the introduction of the sorting functionality in the Card View and Column View.I am wondering, is this a defect in AEM 6.5.7 or is the ordering functionality gone for good?Is there any alternative way for Authors to order Assets?

I am trying to decrypt the file on sftp using lambda function, but not getting the exact code and steps to use in lambda functions to decrypt and download the file on sftp? Has someone ever tried this ?

I'd like to create a workflow to publish but only on content that has been approved. For example, say you have a workflow for content approval: start approval workflow for content-fragment-1 -> content-fragment-1 approved -> end approval workflow Then you would have  start publish workflow for content-fragment-1 -> content-fragment-1 publish -> end publish workflow But, what happens if someone makes a changes content-fragment-1 between the approval workflow and the publish workflow? Is there a way to only publish approved content?

Hi,We have requirement where business can upload word document , PDF files and emails . We know omni search provided OOTB in DAM works as full text search on metadata of assets. Can someone please help if we can search word document , PDF files and emails uploaded in DAM using words/text used inside it ? If yes, what all steps need to do for this configuration ?

We have a bunch of template authors who can add "component policies" which allows specific components to be used on the page. During the configuration of the  "component policy", the dropdown list composes of a lot of componentGroup. We allow template authors to select any componentGroup of their choice... However, we have a requirement to hide a specific componentGroup based on user group. My question is, can we hide a specific componentGroup from template authors but show it to admins?

On React component approach we are using ".model.json" to react will configure json. in author its working fine for DNS its blocking ".model.json" with consist of " /content/* " Example: /content/we-retail/en/jcr:content/responsivegrid/women-comp.model.json  any reference for please suggest me.

Hi,I am trying to load a .csv file having 1.4m records from SFTP to AEP XDM Schema. I am getting below error ERROR:CONNECTOR-1001-500: Error in copying the data from SourceError code 2200: A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because the connected host has failed to respond Note: While I tried to load the same file with 20-30 records I can successfully load it. Can anyone please help me to get it resolved? ThanksGouri

Hi All,I am trying to create user and groups on my local publish instance using ac-tool but its not creating  on aem 6.5, I have created below run mode folder for users/group-testuser.publish.local and have added user/group in yaml file, but users are not getting created. Issue is when I change folder name as testuser.publish, I can see user is getting  created on local publish instance.any idea why testuser.publish.local run mode is not working?we have same issue with all our environments, only global publish is working and not the dedicated runmode for the specific environment.I read ac-tool document but according to this I am not seeing any issue in the runmode-If anyone had faced the same issue, please help.  

I cannot find anything in the documentation or setup screens on how to add a new project log option/type. I see how to add new risk types in the Setup screen, but I cannot find anything about project log types, so I can add them to the "type" drop down list as show in the attached image. Help! I know I did this in classic (some of the options in the pic are ones I created a couple years ago), but I am going nuts trying to find anything about this in the Workfront documentation for New Experience.

I am using Amazon s3 bucket as my destination to store the Omniture Data. I have to pass the secret key and the access key to validate my credentials and create connection. But the AWS Team of my organization is saying that it is not a good practice to share Access Key and Secret Key and they have put MFA on top of it which is resulting in `Access Denied` error. Now, I am unable to transfer omniture data from Abode Analytics to my s3 Bucket.Is there any thing I can do to resolve this issue?

Hi AllI am trying to build a report to look at non-metro traffic for Australia, I was hoping i could just do an easy segment of Does not Equal Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Brisbane or Adelaide.However, the cities goes right down to the suburb level, so to build that segment I need to type in every single suburb in the segment.Does anyone know how to build a segment that will exclude not just the specific cities but its surrounding Metro area, i.e. the suburbs as wellSo for Sydney for Example, include all suburbs from Sydney to approx Penrith going west, down to Cronulla in the south and up to about Hornsby in the North. for Melbourne From Melbourne out to Lilydale in the East, North to the Broadmeadows & West to MeltonIs there a way you can import suburbs or preferably postcodes, or drop a pin on a map or something?Any help would be appreciated

Hey .   Really hope someone can help.   I am trying to build a nurture journey, in which I will be testing the effect of vouchers Vs no vouchers. I have two emails (one with voucher, one without). I would like email 1 (voucher) to go to 10% of the audience within a smart list and email 2 (no voucher) to go to the remaining 90% of a smart list. I also need this to run continuously so that any new customers into the smart list, flow through the same 90/10 split.   Would really appreciate the help!!! 

I have  requirement to host some pdfs, splash pages or static site folders in AEM assets, configure them to a domain (for e.g. wcm.assets.com/training.pdf) and use them externally hosted materials such as emails, campaigns, externally hosted websites splashpages. I was reluctant due to 1. I dont have any track of assets usage 2. Why CMS DAM for this, why not any static webserver.  Trying to find out a technically strong reason to support me or to prove me wrong.  Thoughts.

Hey Everyone, I have a requirement for RTE to allow special character in link, details are in below1. Using special character. eg. "<" ">"  but when author tries to re-configure it, it shows encoded value as belowI believe while saving value in JCR will be encoded but need to decode while retrieving it. 1. one option is to overlay   /libs/clientlibs/granite/richtext/core/js/plugins/LinkPlugin.js  and customize it to decode .anyone faced similar issue or have any other solution for it?Regards,Santosh  

I am wondering how recommendation engine able to recommend products without category. I am capturing the common entity parameters like id, name, image etc but not capturing the category as it is not available on any of the product page. I created a sample activity with recommended for you criteria based on last viewed item. When I access the activity on any product page in incognito, the recommendation appears with exactly same category.Eg. car Tyre PDP page will show all the Tyre items, Car light page will show all the light items.

Hi, I have created an app using `aio app init` and gone through adding the actions and code and deploying it etc...Now my colleague wants to connect to be able to update and deploy etc...They have the code from the repo downloaded but I'm not sure how to connect them to the app? Do we run `aio app init` again? If so are there any specific options to choose as it is asking us about creating actions etc...When trying to do `aio app deploy` with the code form the repo we now get... "Error: missing Adobe I/O Runtime namespace, did you set the AIO_RUNTIME_NAMESPACE environment variable?" Thanks
