I was trying to use getModelFromWrappedRequest of org.apache.sling.models.factory.ModalFactory class of Sling API. From the sling documentations, it looks like this method was introduced in Sling 10 API. I tried adding latest dependencies related Sling API. But it didn't resolved.org.apache.sling.models.api version is 1.3.6 in my POM file. Please let me know what other dependencies/artifacts I need to include in my POM file so that I can use getModelFromWrappedRequest method.ModelFactory

Hi, How do we go about sharing onboarded traits via AAM Marketplace? I know there's the AAM help documentation, but it doesn't list down the exact steps to create a data source for a data feed for different scenarios. Scenario: We need to share only some of our CRM traits and not the entire CRM traits in the CRM data source say Data Source 1. So we'll be creating a separate data source say Data Source 2 and build just those traits that we want to share n that data source. (not sure if this is even possible or if this will work) Questions:Does that new data source need to have an integration code if there is an id sync call? There is an integration code in Data Source 1, so can we create another data source (data source 2 in this case) and have the same integration code? If the above is possible, say we can and we build similar traits on this data source 2 and use this to create a private data feed. Do we need anything else for the data to be shared with the other party? Let me know if

Hello,I'm trying to pass the value from cq:dialog property to a JavaScript function but the compiler is erroring out on the '$'.  If I wrap the property in quotes, it's treated like a string.  How can I get around this? Using AEM 6.4<div><sly data-sly-use.logic="${'clientlibs/js/logic.js' @ width=${properties.width}, height=${properties.height}, seperator=','}">   ${logic.getFrame}</sly></div>Same thing with a script tag; when written out to the Publisher the value is null    <script>        myFunction(${properties.name}) {            // whatever        });    </script>

Hi all,I am facing a issue that existing RTE value is not displayed in the multifield.  Who knows how to fix it?Steps:1. Set the value "1111" to the description and save it.2. I can see that value is saved successfully in the crx/de.3. Reopen dialog and description is displayed as blank. Excepted value is "1111".Note: Only AEM 6.4 has this problem. I used Data Range: Last Month and Dimension: Month in two of my projects, comparing metrics: page views, visits, unique visitors.First project: freeform table date set to Last Month, with breakdown of last month, 2 months ago, last month last year using date ranges.Second project, freeform table set to Last Quarter.  In this table, I used month dimension instead, which automatically produced 3 months for that quarter in each column, side by side. Problem: comparing both reports, monthly and quarterly: for the exact same month, let's say June or May: we get slightly different numbers for each metric. It seems that workspace is calculating numbers differently for June (dimension) vs. Last Month (June, time range). I did not observe that they are being rounded and the difference is always after the second comma. Ex. X,X,644 vs. X,X,636 or X,X,569 vs. X,X,553 or X,X,148 vs. X,X,143Could you shed some light on the issue?Thanks.

I'd like to convert a standard report that shows events by weekend  or weekdays. This is possible in the reporting section (trended -> day of week: weekends), but I can't seem to get it to port into Analysis Workspace, even when I click "Try this in Workspace". Any ideas?

Hello,I'm planning to slightly change the rules in the marketing channels but as you can imagine I'd like to quantify what would be the impact on the reports first.What's the best way to do this?My idea was to create a new reporting suite (let's call it RStest) mirroring the production one (RSprod) and link it to the same data (we use tealium as tag manager). Then change the marketing rules in the RStest and after a couple of days check the difference with RSprod.Can you suggest any more efficient way to do that?Thanks,Davide

I have been playing around with the new panel dropdown Workspace feature released in the September 2018 update and think it’s great, however once I add it to a Workspace there does not seem to be a way to remove it? I have to replace the dropdown list with a dimension/segment etc. and then delete that. Am I missing something?

In our company, we need to on-board CRM data in real-time, hence our use of DCS API requests.  But it's unclear from the product documentation which trait type will be affected when our server delivers DCS /event calls.  See https://marketing.adobe.com/resources/help/en_US/aam/trait-qualification-reference.html  We might have expected on-boarded traits to be affected but the explanation only refers to the arrival of inbound files.  Can you please clarify?  - Thanks, Hugh

I am trying to get editable templates to work, without much luck. I found this video on the AEM Comunity Channel that is doing exactly what I am trying to do - set up a simple example from a baseline created from the maven archetype. At 1:50 in the video, he drops a layout container into the structure of his page - I can't do this. I can find the component in the sidebar and drag it into the body of the template, but nothing happens. Same is true for all the other components in the sidebar - not just the layout container. I also don't see the blue positioning arrows that appear in the video, indicating that it has no intention of allowing me to drop anything. Assuming that I'm an admin on the server and I've followed all the preceding steps in this video, notably setting up a policy on the root that allows layout containers, what is determining that my structure components don't belong?The same seems to be true if I try to manipulate the structure of the we-retail templates. I was trying to run a query with type - dam:AssetContent and on running it in query builder ui I get the result but I see an error in the error login traversing and that there is no index while I mocked up the dam:asset index under oak:index in aemproperty - metadata/cq:tags - throws no error while property - metadata/customprop - throws traversal error Custom prop is of type “long”query type- dam:AssetContentpath- /content/dam property - metadata/customprop property.value - 123could i be missing something basic ?
