Folks,I'm trying to make sure I'm doing the Data element macro correctly.  I'm using the following code in an image pixel request:<img height="1" width="1" alt="" style="display:none" src="https://www.domain.com/tr?ev=XXXXXXX&cd[value]=_satellite.getVar('Order SubTotal');&cd[currency]=USD&noscript=1"/>Most examples we have found are using the macro in JS.  So will this work for a Non-Sequential HTML?Thanks in advance.Stuart

Hi to all,we're struggling into possible DTM Adobe Analytics Tool conditions, in order to let the tool be active only on certain pages.In fact, tools settings don't allow any Conditions, like Rules instead.If we flag the "Page code is already present" checkbox, no tool code would be active at all.Our requirement is that just some pages already have the page code, thus the Adobe Analytics tool would be active just for the other ones.In short, it would be like the "Page code is already present" checkbox could be conditioned. We tested some Page-load rules which could fire, conditionally, the tool, but it does not work.Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, I am new to the community and Adobe Analytics.  In a recent report my manager pointed out that internal referrals to our website account for 50% or more of our traffic.  I investigated a little more and noticed that when a user is logged into our site and they log off it counts as a referral because they are returning to the homepage. I am trying to figure out how to adjust this data through a segment or a metric so that our internal referral rate does not appear so high.ThanksMatt

I have the requirement to add paid media tag on submit of a form. I have created an event based rule on submit. If i try to test event based rule using 1. localStorage.setItem(‘sdsat_stagingLibrary’,true); 2._satellite.setDebug(true); It doesn't work. When i try this i get undefined in console. But it shows all the page level rule. I don't see only the event based rule. Now i am not sure how to test the event based rule. Is there any other way can we test this?

Hello All,I am trying to implement Google Analytic via DTM.I am using a Direct Call Rule as it is being implemented for AngularJS website. My one rule should work across different product. Based upon the product I am setting other parameters such as page name, dimensions etc.For Adobe Analytic, DTM provides option to do Custom Coding.But for google, that option is missing. So how do I configure my custom page names and dimension dynamically based upon the URL or Product for Google Analytic in DTM?Please not that I do not want to put the code at Tool level customized settings as my site is angular and I am suppressing the first default page load. Regards

I've run into an issue that is confounding me greatly.I am setting the GA Universal Account IDs for Staging & Production using data elements, however for some reason when the tool loads in the browser, DTM returns the static text used in the tool configuration, rather than the UA-xxxxxx-x value. The tool is configured to load at Page Bottom, and I've confirmed by going through every function in the Satellite JS that the data element is set correctly prior to the tool loading. Yet, I continue to get static text returned. Illustration attached.Is anybody else successfully using data elements to set Account ID for GA? I should note that I can't use data elements *anywhere* within the GA tool configuration without having this issue. Adobe Analytics works fine. Any ideas?

I have the below javascript code which i placed in my webpage (index.html). <script type="text/javascript">var analyticsPageData = {pageName:"Insert Page Name",UserID:"Kishore"};</script>I have created a data element with Type "JS Object" and set the path as "analyticsPageData.UserID"Now in Page load rules, I have mapped prop3=%UserID% (UserID is my data element name)however, when i try to see the end results it is not showing the UserID (prop3 as Kishore but it is showing as D=v3 Any body can help me here please. Do I need to change anything in the path or it is something else which I am missing. If it is the path change, what should I keep it?

Hi AllI am new to DTM and would greatly appreciate some advise on how to track user navigation from a group of items in the same class.For example, there is one class in a footer and I want to fire a rule when someone clicks one of these links, passing the value of the id into a custom link variable or a prop variable. Every example I am seeing in the videos only fires on a specific value existing. I manages all tags in my websites using DTM and often create completely or almost the same HTML/Javascript tags into 3rd party tags area in pageload rules and event rules. That annoying me by not only newly issuing, copy-and-paste, tags but also fixing them.If there were some kind of "shared tags"....Are there any functions and/or workarounds dealing with this?

Towards the end of last week, I started noticing that many of my Synchronous 3rd party scripts were no longer firing. These were all "Page Bottom" and synchronous, with some HTML and others JavaScript. Depending on the script, I would receive one of two messages in the console: - Command writeHTML failed. You should try appending HTML using the async option. - Cannot load sync the "http://assets.adobedtm.com/XXXXXXX.js" script after DOM Ready.I have not changed any of these scripts recently. Is anyone else seeing this issue? What changed in DTM to stop these scripts from loading?

the DTM documentation makes NO mention of how to implement the new VisitorAPI script within it.  What is the best practice / method for this? 

Hello,I'm new to Adobe DTM and still learning about how it works. I created a testpage with data layer and configured rules to track with Adobe Analytics. It works as long as cookies are enabled. When I disable cookies (all cookies, also FPC), I don't get any tracking requests. My question: Is a cookie required to have DTM working or is a setup to be done to have it working when cookies are not accepted?Thanks in advance!Andreas
