Hi,We have Google Analytics Premium and therefore are allowed up to 200 custom dimensions, in the DTM interface we can only so up to slot 20 in the drop down menu - can we have this extended please?Happy to provide further details.Thanks,Edgar 

Hi, We would like to modify our Universal Analytics code for display-function and demographic data. To activate this the code "ga('require', 'displayfeatures');" should be added to the tracking code. I did this by simply adding the code in the "Customize page code" field of the UA tool. But this doesn't seem to be working. 

We have a website that we are migrating to DTM and have decided not to move all the variable-setting page code into DTM. It appears to be skipping anything that is an s object outside the s_code that is hosted within DTM. Has anyone seen this before or can anyone offer any thoughts as to why it isn't setting those variables that are in the page code?Thanks,Chad 

Hi colleagues,Since DTM's Team added the possibility that deployed Adobe codes, like Appmesaurment and Visitor API natively through DTM UI, I was thinking that would be well if all code (Heartbeat, Module integrate,...) may be deployed natively as well. That arises because I would want that new Appmesuement versions or whatever code are installing by default, and on the other hand, to have a section for customize my Appmesaument code.I try do it through Customize page Code, but unfortunately seems that this section was not thought for do it, and we cannot executed this section before Appmesaurment code (for then can add into it custom code and then activate Code Managed by Adobe). Some idea for do it?Finally, as I cannot do that, I suggest in Idea Exchange a method for:    1. Possibility to add other code modules, like right now Appmesurment, be managed automatically by Adobe updates.    2. Section (Or Customize page Code checkbox) through it to can add custom Appmesaurment Code.Please

can non-admins copy rules in DTM somehow?seems to me they can't. can't find anything in the documentation about rule-copying.. but, i can see that admins do have this capability.what is strange, is that non-admins can delete rules... makes no sense - was this just an oversight by adobe? or am i missing something?

Hi Everyone, We have a registration form on the website which contains both input text field and drop down lists. The marketing manager wanted to track 1) how many visitors have started filling the form, and 2) how many "unique visitors" have submitted the form. For 1), after consulting a developer, I got the answer that you can write some scripts in the page source file to achieve it. My question is, can we actually set up rules in DTM to do this, rather than replying on the IT guys?For 2), currently we have a rule to track the "counts" of the submission button clicks, how can we track the number of unique visitors who have clicked the submission button? Since sometimes submission can fail because of incorrect form input, a "unique visitor" can "submit" the form more than once. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Happy New Year to all!Having a little trouble with my DTM.  For some reason, no new tags that I've created in the year of 2015 will publish live.  I can create the tags, test them successfully in staging with the Adobe DTM Chrome Plugin, but when I approve the tags and publish the queue, nothing happens.  The changes aren't made to the live site.   I am hosting my instance of DTM through Akamai.  Usually the changes are reflected in roughly 5 minutes after publishing the queue.  Its been over an hour now and still nothing.  Anyone have an idea?Thank you.

The company's website tracking was set up using DTM, and the data from sitecatalyst don't match server logs. I notice there are a few rules in the system which I have question with.1) A "dynamic page name" rule which has the js code as follows:var pagePath = window.location.pathname;var pageName = pagePath;while(pageName.charAt(0) === '/'){  pageName = pageName.substr(1);}//set Page Names.pageName = pageName.split('/').join(' > ');s.pageURL = pagePath;2) a home page rule which fires on a condition when path includes '/' and this rule fires on every page load. However, there is no eVar or prop assigned for this rule.3) there are also page load rules set up for different individual page, with eVar assigned but no prop. My question: the first rule looks like doing a job of capturing each page name of the site. What about rule 2) and 3)? Since there is no props assigned, will the page view counts still be passed to Adobe and shown in the reports?

Hello,I've been asked to dynamically populate a random number in the img src below:     <img src='http://h.nexac.com/e/a-858/s-1486/c-705/g-2423.xgi?pkey=xbue89gtzpg16&chpcm=&chpsg=&chpcr=&chpck=&rand=INSERTRANDOMNUMBER&chpth=' width='1' height='1' border='0'> I've added this tag within DTM as a "Javascript / Third Party Tags" on one of our pages, but I do not know how to go about populating a random number for the rand URL parameter. Would I create a custom script data element to generate a random number?

We are trying out the integration of Adobe Target via Adobe DTM. The situation is that there are some existing pages that already have mbox integrated in the page. Now,when we rollout the Adobe Target tool via Adobe DTM. We find that this tool is loading in every single page!. I tried setting up the page specific criteria to identify the set of pages where this needs to load. Though the mbox wrapper fires only on these specific pages, the Mbox.js itself is still getting loaded in every page. How does one avoid Target from loading in every page where DTM is loaded.? I'm told that for sitecatalyst, I can accomplish this via page specific code. What about Target?Regards,Dheepak

Has anybody been able to integrate Target via DTM and use a redirect offer?I've implemented the mbox call as seen on the "Configure synchronous mbox.js loading" help file at http://microsite.omniture.com/t2/help/en_US/dtm/t_target_synchronous_load.html.This seems to work fine when Target is just replacing content on the page. However, for a redirect type, it outputs something like this into the mbox instead of actually redirecting the page:mboxCurrent.setOnLoad(function() {window.location.replace('url of redirect');});I know the redirect offer itself works as I've implemented it on a different page not using DTM and it redirects fine.

I am looking for help trying to understand the proper way to place a tag.I would like to verify my website on Pinterest and in order to do this I must place a <meta> tag in the <head> section of my homepage. Even though my DTM header script is in the <head> section of my site, when i set the page load tag to fire at the top it still fires in the <body>.Can someone please help me understand how to create a rule in DTM in order to have the 3rd party script load in a line before </head> on my site.Thank you.

I'd really appreciate if anybody could share their experience. Also I need to make sure the engine file is loaded prior the configuration file. What is the best way to achieve this?Thanks in advance

Hi - is it possible to disable Google Universal Analytics delivery on an individual property inside DTM? One of the three domains in my property is actually having issues with GUA (specifically, the autolinker is decorating links incorrectly and causing some issues with pages not able to be delivered correctly) and I was wondering if I could simply disable GUA (or the autolinker itself? I don't need the domains linked.) We have a plan in the process to allow us to take these domains to separate properties, but the site development required will not be accomplished for several months and I was looking for a faster solution. Thanks.

I’m trying to setup an event (button click) based rule for a my site in DTM.The button has the following;·         Inner HTML - <span class="btn-value">Next</span> <i class="icon--next"></i>·         Outer HTML - <button type="button" name="next" class="btn cta centered-mobile btn--next" id="trigger-step2" data-step="1"><span class="btn-value">Next</span><i class="icon--next"></i></button>·         CSS selector - button.cta:nth-child(1)I tried creating the rule based on the css selector (button.cta:nth-child(1)) & also without the CSS filter (button#trigger-step2), but neither option worked.Could someone please provide any guidance on what I’m doing wrong?Thanks!

Hi Guys,I would need pass a dynamic value (which I collected with Data element) and put this into a pixel image (marketing pixel). Hello All,We are in the process of designing a DataLayer to be consumed by DTM. The application rewrite is in Process and we are moving to AngularJS implementation from ASP.NET pagesImplementing DataLayer Object for Page Loads Metric and utilizing it in DTM looks straight forward. But capturing user actions in the DataLayer is little confusing. Suppose, I create "User Action Object" per page like an example below                  "category": "link_tracking",    "action": "link_clicked",    "link_name": "My Insurance Logo",How do I use it in DTM? I mean how should I use this object to map it to an event? Regards

Hello everbody,regarding to this FAQ page articlehttp://www.searchdiscovery.com/satellite/adobedtm-faq/ (Does Adobe DTM support Multi-Media tags like video playback analysis?)i want to track video events (started, play, pause, ended) for YouTube embedded videos. But honestly i don't know what that means. On implementing side i found an example on how to embed YouTube videos und recognizing the mentioned events above.In this case i can call the _satellite.track("video_started") function and detect this within DTM by a direct call rule. BUT i want to know if there is another way tracking YouTube videos natively. This is important because i don't have access for a page i want to implement the tracking logic. So does anyone knows what that means "They have native support for HTML5, YouTube API, and Vimeo API." and how to treat it? Thanks in advanceAxel

In our DTM implementation, we're using an old hosted s_code alongside DTM. We're using a data layer throughout the site, but on our CQ (content) side, the data layer population is based on an AJAX call that doesn't happen until DOM Ready - by that time, DTM has already fired.My pageload rule is capturing everything on our commerce side without incident, but the CQ side will not pass the data in the data layer. We tried delaying the pageBottom call, but that just created 2 image requests. Moving the pageload from Bottom to Onload prevented any variables configured via DTM to pass. Has anyone run into anything similar?Thanks,Chad 

When I setup a rule and go to my Adobe Analytics section, and specify it to be triggered as an s.tl call, there is a problem with using the custom code section.  Apparently DTM seems to be overwriting s.linkTrackVars and s.linkTrackEvents so I cannot populate any Adobe Analytics variables from there.

I have a website successfully wired up with DTM, and one tool (Adobe Analytics) configured. I'm getting data through to my report suite as expected.My CMS uses an IFRAME to preview content, and this means every time a page is navigated to in the CMS, my analytics tag is fired.My CMS lives on www.mysite.com/EPiServer and I thought I should just add a page load rule that excludes paths that include "EPiServer". I configured one as attached, but I'm still getting analytics tags fired when pages are viewed in the CMS.Any ideas?
