Hi guys,I am following the document to create scaffolding in version 5.6.1 : http://dev.day.com/docs/en/cq/current/wcm/scaffolding.htmlBut when I reach to this step: "Next, you have to define the structure of the page that this scaffold will create. To do this go into design mode on the scaffold page. A link will appear allowing you to edit the scaffold in the dialog editor."I can't see the link. you can see the screenshot in attachment.Is there any way to fix this problem.Thanks

Hello,I want to save a xtype ‘datefield’ in CQ5 as Date type, like a jcr:created property for example. In dialog node i have defined a ‘cq:widget’  with the property xtype=‘datefiled’. But the issue is that the result is saved like a String type insted of Date type.How can i save the item as Date?Thanks !

Hi All,I have a requirement, In which what should be done is- whenever user selects some text and clicks a button(customized) that button should convert all the white space in Selected text to non breakable space.Till now I am able to add the button via MiscToolPlugin.js. But after that I do not know how to proceed.MiscToolPlugin.js uses method     execute: function(id, value, options) .I will call my method from this method. and My thinking is to somehow get the selected Text and replace all white space in this selected Text to non breakable space.But I do not know How to get the selected Text and how to save the new Text back after replacing.I searched on internet but couldn't find anything useful. Please help asap.Thanks in advance.

I'm currently trying to create a xpath query in crxde that is looking for items that contain some special characters. Here is what i have./jcr:root/content/*//jcr:content//*[jcr:contains(., '<style>')]This end up yeilding a list of items containing style instead of <style>. I've tried escaping the character like this "\<style\>" and that didn't do anything.

Hello Experts !We are using AEM 5.6.1 for digital asset management (No WCM module) in our company. We are in development phase therefore still deciding about the production environment setup. I have enabled all possible RTE toolbar in apps location however,  i want to provide capability to platform administrator to control availability of certain toolbar to specific user but not all user. To achieve this i need to know how can i enable or disable toolbar in run time.any thoughts? Thanks Chandra

Going to this: /bin/wcmcommand?cmd=copyPage on our authoring instance results in a 500 message.  However, it is using the default 500 page, rather than the custom pages I have at /apps/sling/servlet/errorhandler.  I can confirm they work because going to /bin/wcmcommand goes to those pages - note that it does not have a post request of cmd=copyPage.How can I get it to use my custom page?

Looks like in 5.6.1 the link to the payload item, even if it is a valid page, results in an error. Looks like some sort of 404 error.Noticed a few other threads in this forum that elude to the same issue but, each one has no responses and trying to click into any of those threads is resulting in a 502 Bad Gateway Request. So I apologize for the same question being asked again but, anyone know if there is a hotfix available for this?

I'm going through the process of virtualizing all of the servers in my production AEM environment.  I thought if I disabled the replication agent on author I would be able isolate one of two available publishing instances in the cluster, perform the P2V process the re-enable the replication agent when I was all done and all the activation requests that occured while I had the replication agent disabled would flush through so that at the end of things my new VM publishing instance would be up to date with the one that is still a phyiscal machine.  Good plan, I thought, except that disabling the replication agent apparenlty takes it's replication queue along with it.  Yep, I should have checked that but I honestly thought I'd done it before and everything worked out.  Not this time.I"ve geneted a list of the assets that were activated while my first replication agent was down from the replication log of the agent that remained up and I'm manully activating everything I missed now so I'll

I have created a package with the below filter. And i installed in another CQ instance."/content/valley/en/jcr:content/header"After installed the package, The above mentioned path(node) is not getting created. So i did some ground work and come to know that CQ is not allowing me to add any single node and also jcr:content node. It is expecting the whole page(cq:Page).Is it expected behavior of CQ package concept?If it is not please let me know how can i add single node under content node in filter section to package. Thanks

HelloWhen i do a deployment on my servers, the bundle location is the following: jcrinstall:/apps/all/install/all-libs-8.0.0-SNAPSHOT.jar . But the actual version is 9.1.1.SNAPSHOT. So shouldnt the bundle location not be jcrinstall:/apps/all/install/all-libs-9.1.1-SNAPSHOT.jar ? That the bundle work, i have to uninstall it and reinstall it by hand then it works and the path is correct. But by building it automaticly the path is incorrect.Does any one have an idea why it is like that?

We have a custom authentication handler. But we want to check if the user is logged into CQ5 for example if they are on the author. I know we could just do an isAuthor check but we want to be able to see which user it is who is signed in. The custom auth is only used on certain parts of the site and grants access depending on info obtained from the commerce aspect of our site but we also want to check who the cq5 user is if anybody. When I say CQ5 user I'm referring to the user who would log in when accessing the author for example on the AEM splash page when first hitting the author url. I have spend quite a bit of time getting no where with this, from what I can see the authentication info is contatinred in a cookie called login-token but I can't work out how to 'decode' that to get the user name and validate the password is correct. Hope this makes sense. (This is on a 5.6 implementation of CQ5).
