The usecase is to expose an AEM Servlet to the outside world, Outside world will have to hit this servlet with some input information( Suppose a node name, node data etc which should not be passed a URL parameters as they are secured) using which the servlet should update or create new content in AEM.Some questions around this usecase are as belowHow will the input information would be passed along with the request?What would be the  authentication mechanism that has to be used ?

We are using TARMK for publish instance. We want to use MongoDB as repository for blogs alone. Is there any documentation on how to install  blogs/community alone in mongodb?

I have one questions that I haven't seen in the doc:If you are a user anonymous (not logged in the system) I assume that you are member from the group anonymous and you can see all tha pages unrestricted under /content.The question is, why when I log with a different user than admin/author users, I can't see any of the /content sites (Geometrix, my webs...etc)? Regards

We use the on/off times for content, allowing us to activate/publish content prior to when it is meant to be publicly accessible.  When published content is outside of its on/off window, attempts to retrieve the content on the publisher will return a 404, as expected.We would like to use the same mechanism with DAM assets, so they may be scheduled for the same "on window" as the content that uses them.  Despite the on/off time properties existing in the DAM asset editor, they don't seem to work.  I've tested with both 5.6.1 and 6.1, and the assets continue to be accessible through their direct path (/content/dam/path/to/image.png), as well as through image component references (/content/site/page/_jcr_content/par/image.img.png/3457623456.png).  What gives?  If the on/off times for DAM assets don't control availability, why do these properties exist?

Hi,One of my AEM 5.6.1 was running on a local machine, due to some reason machine got off  suddenly so as AEM instance running on it.Once machine was started back, AEM instance is not working properly, I could see that it got started but when I try to open anything I see bank page.I think something went wrong when machine suddenly turned off without shutting down AEM instance properly.Need some information on following:1. How to get this AEM instance running back?2. Hi,I created a workflow in CQ. We are using Jenkins to build the code. I have observed that after the build every time the version of the workflow model gets changed .and sometimes the model itself gets corrupted after the build due to which workflow is not working as expected. On the page properties there is a tab for the thumbnail image. I added an additional tab for a background image.But it seems to be tricky to have multiple image tabs in a dialog.For the classic/widget based UI I had to explicitly add 'resourceType = foundation/components/image' to the new background image field so it is stored correctly. But now it works for me.Now I also wanted to add the background image to the touch UI. So I copied the existing definition of the thumbnail image from the granite dialog and added it on a new tab.But if I open the page properties in the touch UI and add a new image on the thumbnail or background tab,both tabs always show the same image. In our DAM, we have Processing Profiles set up to default metadata for assets.  With the OOTB configuration, the DAM Update Asset Workflow runs and executes these Processing Profiles correctly.  We want to also run the DAM Metadata Writeback workflow on upload, so that the metadata set in the Processing Profiles is written back to the binary of the asset.  I created a Launcher for this, but it fires before the DAM Update Asset workflow, so it doesn't writeback the metadata that is added via the Processing Profiles.  As a workaround, I added the XMP Writeback step to the DAM Update Asset workflow.  Is this the correct way to handle this?  If so, since this will now execute whenever the DAM Update Asset workflow runs, should the modify launcher for the DAM Metadata Writeback workflow be disabled?

Hi All,In my project we have a new site in UAT server and  users are doing all the content and asset authoring over here.  The total size of the web site and the respective assets are around 50GB.Now our target is to move these content to prod environment. Now the process, I can think of is to transfer by creating package and transferring them to prod server but it is very much time consuming.So I seek some suggestion and best process around here to transfer 50 GB of content/Asset from Uat CQ server to Prod CQ server.~RegardsSatya

Our system is composed by two nodes joined in a cluster. Due to a lack of space on the server where one of the nodes was running this node crashes. After deleting old backups we tried to restart the crashed node but it does not start correctly. Finally we deleted the full crx-quickstart folder from the crashed node amb we made a new installation. My requirement is that my scheduled service will run at every 60 mins. Any idea on how much re-usability of the functional Web component can be done to build PhoneGap component?2. We've found that the less version used by AEM is too old.Is there a way to override this version or updating a updated component without breaking the whole component system? Thank you!

Hey,I have created a few dummy users in my project under home/users/<company-name>. I want these users to appear in the ContextHub on my page, so that when i change the users I see different personalized experiences on the page.I see the users, when I add a picture to their profile, but I am not being able to select them. I can select them in the Client Context, but not in ContextHub. I've been stuck with this issue since a long time. Would really appreciate it if anyone can help me out with this. Thank you

Hi,I am trying to create a suggestion Index using the below API call.SearchIndexSuggestionExtractor.buildIndex()Due to changes to QueryManagerImpl.class in Jackrabbit Oak starting AEM 6 the above API doesn't work, also this may be due to the change in workspace indexing mechanism. I have attached the stack trace of the error log. Also the built in OOTB component(/libs/cq/search/content/suggest/admin) doesn't work and throws the same exception trace. Please let me know if there is an alternate API or is there any hot fix available for this.Thanks,Arun

However, if I put the listener on, say, a textfield widget instead, those events do fire. Is this expected? Is there a way to use dialog level listeners?

Hi ,  In my local AEM 6.1 instance  , I'm trying to run dialog conversion tool on OOTB geometrix components . It gives me following error . Even though i have just selected one component dialog  from the list (titile) , it displays errors that 1915 dialogs have been traversed .
