Is anyone know how to enable pagination in tagging module? It do not have pagination similar to content pages or DAM and it takes times to load the entire list when browsing.Please help.

I am learning Using and Extending Widgets referencing to http://dev.day.com/docs/en/cq/current/developing/widgets.html.We can define js functions in listeners. Then my question is: where is function parameter defined? Like loadcontent="function(field,rec,path){Ejst.x2.showInfo(field,rec,path);}" , this function will be triggered when conent load, but what are values of "field", "rec", "path"? I cannot find where "field", "rec", "path" are defined. Are they just arbitrary names which i can change as i wish? (I believe this is not the case). So would someone help? 

I've been attempting to make the most basic of basic templates/pages in CQ 5.5.  I have followed the instructions on:  http://dev.day.com/docs/en/cq/5-5/howto/website.htmlBut unlike in the instructions on the site, the Sidekick is never displayed.  There aren't any Javascript errors and everything in my setup looks the same as what is in the instruction guide.Any ideas why the Sidekick would never show up?  Am I missing something obvious?Thank you.

Hi Fellow Forum members, My customer wants to make sure that they are able to access all the completed/Aborted/Terminated workflows for past 1 month. Now Workflow console only shows first 40 items of workflows which are either completed/Aborted/Terminated.             What can i do so that it will show all the instances in Archive?Note: Workflow Purge Scheduler is already configured to purge items older than 30 days.Any help on this item will be appreciated. Thanks and Regards,Nitin

We ran into a set of issues today with a new site.  As we explored the JCR we ran into the property jcr:isCheckedOut.  It appears content cannot be edited if this property is false.  I have a few questions:  Can someone explain this property and when/where does CQ use this?  All our other sites don't seem to use this property.

Hi,I have a requirement i want to validate sizefield width and height, the sum of both should not be more than 100(i.e if user enters value in any of the field suppose 35 the other should be filled with 65(sum is 100))How to achieve this, if not possible with sizefield what shoild be the other best approach?ThanksSrini

I am using the CQBlueprints archetype and following through the example implementation of simple tag library processing. The sample class provided is below. Seems pretty straight-forward. The OSGI bundles for the tablib and service are installed and Active. The GoodbyeWorldService bundle exports all its pacakges. The TLD generated is very simple. I can see that the setName method is called correctly from the provided JSP. Everything looks fine. Hi all,I have built an event handler, which listens to replication events (@Property(name = "event.topics", value = { ReplicationAction.EVENT_TOPIC })) and modifies/adds a property to the page content within its handleEvent method.What I have seen is that the new property is not transferred to the publish system on the first activation of the page. When I activate again, then the property is of course already set and it is transferred to the publish system.My question is: Is that behaviour defined, so that I can depend on it? Hello,I tried to uninstall cq-geometrixx-all-pkg-5.6.12.zip package to remove all example content and users. But I noticed that after uninstall there was a node "marketing.adobe.com" (see attachment) got created under /content path.I just wanted to know what is the purpose of this and does it have any impact if i delete this node from the content structure?Or is there any other way I have to follow to remove this?Thanks in advance!!!

I'm getting an error while running Vault update that I can't eliminate no matter what I try.  It started about two weeks ago, after two months without error.  Whenever I run the command, I get an error like the following:tmollerus$ vlt upConnecting via JCR remoting to http://localhost:4502/crx/server[ERROR] update: com.day.jcr.vault.vlt.VltException: breadcrumb-comp/.content.xml: Error while copying files.caused by: java.util.zip.ZipException: invalid entry compressed size (expected 991 but got 2583 bytes)I've run a consistency check on my JCR, but it didn't help.  Is there something else I can do to resolve the problem?

Hi masters!I found an issue regarding pagination in Workflow Console, Archive tab. The pagination is not working in this tab.I can reproduce this issue in a new AEM5.6.1 instance installed from scratch. The steps to reproduce are:Install new AEM5.6.1 instanceUpload images in DAM since you have more than 40 workflow instances finished. I've uploaded images in groups of 5, and in each iteration I've checked I had 10 new workflow instances in Archive tab.When you achieve more than 40 workflow instances, the pagination toolbar always shows 'Displaying entries 1-40 of -1', and you can't see following pagination pages.During this steps, I've checked the response received by archive.json (http://localhost:4502/libs/cq/workflow/content/console/archive.json?_dc=1385033088203&start=0&limit=40). While I've less than 40 WF instances, the response of archive.json include the 'results' node with the number of total WF intances (this is as expected), but when I've more than 40 WF instances, t

I have a requirement where I need to check the mode (author/publisher) in the workflow step.There is different workflow for both of these wcm modes. I was trying to write function check() using the api WCMMode.I know there is a way to do it in the components/jsp however the same seems to be not working in the workflows:Is there anything like the below in workflows (this is to be inside function check)?var WCMMode = sling.getService(Packages.com.day.cq.wcm.api.WCMMode); If you have any other suggestions/solutions, please do advise.  Thanks!!

Hi,I will be working with a company that utilizes CQ5 for the content management tool for their site. We will be redesign some of the pages of the site outside of CQ5. Can we just give them html files (with all source files) for them to easily integrate into their CQ5? We will not have access to their CQ5 log in so we will be building the pages independently of CQ5. Is there any best practices for building these pages so they can most efficiently and easily integrate into their CQ5?Thanks in advance for any insight!B

Is there a way in CQ 5.6 to restrict use of specific components within a parsys? e.g. I want to restrict author to use only text component within a parsys, following is how I render the parsys inside one of my component JSP file:<cq:include path="textpar" resourceType="foundation/components/parsys" />Previously in CQ 5.4 following code in /etc/designs/myapp/.content.xml used to work for this:<textpar jcr:lastModified="{Date}2012-10-21T15:00:00.000-07:00" jcr:lastModifiedBy="admin" jcr:primaryType="nt:unstructured" sling:resourceType="foundation/components/parsys" components="[/libs/foundation/components/text]"> <section jcr:primaryType="nt:unstructured"/>But in CQ 5.6 it's not working. While accessing a link through web server, sling request going to one server(lets say server1) but the service call through ajax(which is defined in jsp of server1) going to another server(server2). Due to this it is taking time to update data at a time in all servers. By making ajax call to server1 itself hope we can overcome this issue. Could anyone please suggest me a way to maintain the same session so that both the calls with same server.Thanks in advance. Regards,Sreenu

I am in the process of setting up authentication via Active Directory LDAP.  I have it working just fine for everyone in my AD to log in to CQ5, but I actually have about 1000 AD users and only 10 will be using CQ, at least in our test phase.  I would like the LDAP authentication process to only create new user accounts in CQ based on membership in an AD group. (Example: TestUser1 belongs to group AEM_USERS so their account is created when they log into AEM for the first time, but TestUser2 is not a member so their account doesn't get created)  Is this possible?  How do I define that within my LDAP_Login.conf file?  I have tried a couple of settings, and I either get no one able to log in, or everyone able to log in.  My AD tree is also very departmentalized, so I can't put everyone who is going to use the software in one directory, although I have created a group for these 10 developers that I can put put anywhere in the tree (right now it is at the root, i.e., "CN=CMS_Users,OU=CAES,D

Hi All,When i select any parent page all the child pages is being added while creating a package.eg. when I create package of path /content/test/ then it is including all the child pages. actually I don't want to include child pages while creating package.Can any one tell me if there is any option to skip the child pages while creating parent page?Thanks
